i should have stopped reading this as soon as he called her “madam queen” but what can i say… curiosity kills the cat 😟


(spoilers)

there was not a single character in this book who was likeable (maybe stacy) but melanie was cringey and had her pathetic moments that set the bar lower for women. Her internal monologue was so cringey while vaughn was even worse: a manipulator, cheater, gaslighter, liar, and whatever other red flags out there.

I’m giving it a 2.5 instead of a 1 because there was so much drama and the author really put her all into writing a bunch of angsty and fluffy moments towards the end to make him redeemable (but idc you can never make me like a mmc who’s a cheater and continuously manipulated her and ruined her) this book would have gotten a much higher rating if there weren’t any cringey writing and if the mmc was not a maipulative cheater

I'll just rate We Were meant to be here. I ATE IT. THATTT WAS SOMETHING. HE CHOSE HER OVER HIMSELF. AAAAAHHH. WHEN SHE BROKE SOMETHING THAT WAS IMPORTANT FOR HIM, THE REASON HE GOT SAD WAS CUZ OF THE SADNESS IN HER EYES AFTER HE TOLD HER TO LEAVE. OMG. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS SERIES IS ENDING, THE KLEINS, COOPERS, AND SPENCERS. OFC MY FAV CHARACTERS ARE ASHTON, IAN, AND SAM. LIKE B FRR, WHO WOULD IT BE. THIS STORY IS SO NICE. so im rating it 4.5 stars but i couldnt decide whether i should put it as 4 or 5. i went with 5 because the only reason why i took of the .5 stars was because melanie (the mc) sometimes annoyed me with her weakness and stupidity. ig a lot of wattpad books have that kind of female lead which i don't love but oh well. so yeah other than that the book was amazing and i recommend it for sure.

She so annoyed me with her weakness and her own self control … because vaughn cooper cringed and acted like a bad guy to make her want him more………
I don’t like him but jack ughhh… I don’t know how they being friends 😭

Re read. I can't express how much I love Anya's books. Melanie and Vaughn [I NEED MORE OF THEM] are my loves (so is every other non evil character of Anya's)🥺 Don't expect too much from this book because this was Anya's first book but her books get soo much better after this. [Would reallyy reccommend We Were Meant To Be😙]
