One thing that makes Melissa Adams' Silver Springs novels stand out is that her characters are wholly human. It's fun seeing how they react to the magic in Silver Springs, even when they don't know it.
One example here is the spelled skates - anyone who's read the rest of the Silver Skates season knows that all the skates are spelled to fit whoever wears them, so it was good to see how it was explained away to a human!
Iclyn is at rock bottom, having lost her boyfriend and her job, so has returned home to nurse her wounds. Erik, meanwhile, has traveled to Silver Springs to find the required royal bride.
It's a sweet, and very funny tale, and of course, they all lived happily ever after!

Since Iclyn is the sister of one of Magnolia´s mates (and they´re all human), I really thought this book was going to be another book of humans with normal human problems, but, Melissa was like "No, let me add something paranormal but the book is not paranormal", I know, maybe it sounds a little weird but I can´t tell you what happens without giving you spoilers, but just know that something happens to one of Iclyn´s mates that makes this book so much better.
This book is so good, I love Iclyn and her mates, I love how they all have different personalities but together they make a great group. This book is funny, romantic, steamy and easy to read, you´re going to love it.
It can be read as a standalone but I really recommend you read Magnolia (also by Melissa Adams) first, because there´s some characters mentioned in that book that you get to meet again in this one and makes the whole experience of reading the book better and funnier.
I was 30% into the book when I finally understood why Melissa used "Thor" instead of "God" in some phrases, like "I swear to Thor", it´s not funny without the context and to get it you need to read Magnolia first, you´re not going to regret it.

This is a funny, quirky romance that is just fantastic and I had so much fun reading it! In this episode we meet Icyln picking up the pieces of her life and moving back home and what an adventure it turns out to be! Lots going on and shenanigans galore, hot sexy guys and steam and tons of laughter! A great addition to this series!

Melissa is the queen of of awkward moments when it comes to silver springs and this book doesnt dissapoint, This is a light hearted romance with some laugh out loud moments along with some cringe worthy awkward ones.

We've almost reached the end of this season. It's weird. I felt like I needed a little time to truly get into this season, but now I really like every story even better than the one before! And when I saw that this book was written by Melissa Adams I couldn't be happier with my ARC! I always love the stories Adams writes for this universe, because even though I usually prefer romcoms on screen, she really manages to make them work on paper too!
This written romcom literally has everything I want and like in romcoms. We have a small European Monarchy, we have a handsome playboy prince falling in love, we have a science nerd messing up and becoming invisible and we have a loyal guard who is respected by the entire royal family. And, as needed in a true romcom: we have an evil girl getting what she deserves and we have quite a few misconceptions and ruses.
From start to finish this story is therefore endlessly amusing. I've been grinning and smiling almost throughout the entire book. There were so many funny situations, especially since we as readers usually knew a little more than the characters involved. But, there were of course also romantic moments, sexy moments and there were even a few very emotional moments, when the characters were pouring their hearts out.
The true stars however were the characters. Adams did a great job making these characters feel very real and even though the story is relatively short, we see all characters growing and learning, most of all prince Erik. At first he's a little bit of a jerk, but throughout the story we get to see his softer side, especially when he's around Iclyn. And it's quite believable that she thaws his, and his brother's and guard's, heart. She is endearing, she is witty and she most of all truly herself.

Iclyn is an interesting addition to the Silver Springs series. Unlike most of the other books, this one starts from the point of view of the guys and I rather enjoyed that. It gives an interesting twist to the story and kept me wanting to read more. I laughed out loud numerous times and I rather enjoyed the way Iclyn puts some of the guys in their place. I cannot wait to see what happens next in this shared world.

This book starts out with poor Icelyn trying to sort out the absolute train wreck that her life has turned into, in such a short time. Her uncertainty and doubts, warring with her independent determination. The plot and character development is amazing to read through, and the characters themselves are charming, witting, and heartfelt. The diversity of the men’s personalities is perfect, since you get to see each one bring something different to the table. This book had a slow build to the relationship, that I enjoyed. The dynamic between the guys makes the seamless transition into what their life becomes more believable. I’d love to see more of Icelyn. Also, based on the names of things in Cocovia, I’m not beneath begging for a Cocovian National Anthem. I’m super curious about how it would go now.

Melissa Adams you've done it again with a super funny story that had me laughing all the way through, if it wasnt Kikkeli wanting to hump everything in site and the fact that Cedrick had to keep hiding his man hood from people seeing it and the reaction that Iclyn gave when she thought she was hallucinating and through beer all over Eric. I found it totally original and loved how Magnolia and max got to show us Poppy there little daughter and the reaction Iclyn had from magnolia and the benafits toward three men. I loved the reaction Iclyn had at first with Eric and thought he was a right douch bag and a player and I loved how each of the men had there own personality with Eric abit cocky with that smile he dose while Cedrick was the more practical of the twins helping Iclyn on the ice when she didn't know it and I found Dirk realy sweet and caring and I found the chemistry that started between them super hot and steamy and loved the seen at the end with her three hot Cocovian men and I'd definitely love to read more.

I wasn’t really sure where this one was going to go when it started out in Cocovia. Cedrick and his experiment gone wrong. But once we reached silver springs things started to materialise. The beauty pageant was a great idea. Iclyn working rather than participating is brill it proves that love and happiness can be combined with a job too. The three guys are awesome it’s great when they get along like that.
Loved the whole book looking forward as always to the next instalment of Silver Skates.

Iclyn by Melissa Adams, puts a different spin on Silver Springs as her characters are wholly human compared to other books in the series. There is a ghost situation but it’s far from supernatural. It is great to see some of Melissa’s characters from her other SS books make an appearance (hey Magnolia and company)! In keeping with the traditional winter theme this story is all about a beauty pageant on ice and involves some interesting royalty from a little kingdom of Cocovia. This was a sassy and fun read. A great addition to the series!

This is book 13 of this season. I can't believe we are near the end. Fans of The Bachelor or any other dating reality show, would sooo enjoy this. I'd have to say this one was not as strange as Storm, but it definitely still had some moments where I was saying "WTF, is happening?". It was really refreshing to see characters who were from different places, but ties to Silver Springs. I absolutely enjoyed this one (but inall honesty, there really hasn't been a bad one yet!)

I could not put this book down. This book takes you to the amazing world of Silver Springs where you can disappear and enjoy the lives of the residents of silver Springs and the fun that goes along with it. It moves along at a great pace making for an enjoyable read. The characters are amazing and you cannot help but love them and you want to see them succeed in whatever gets in their way. This is a must read book, there is no doubt about that.

I really loved this book. Of course, no surprise, as I love all by Ms. Adams. I really liked this written in all the characters perspectives. I think it adds so much more to the story. I also liked the slowish, natural bond and relationship growth with the characters. Makes their chemistry and connections more realistic. This was really fun and I truly loved the storyline and dynamic . A very fun read.

I loved this book. Even though there was no supernaturals involved it still had that mystery in it. With an experiment gone bad, a prince not wanting to be king and his best friend, and a black listed film director they all find happiness and love in each other. I like that this was mainly humans getting a dose of the mating bond. It was a funny and heartwarming book. I can't wait to see what goes on in Silver Springs next.

Words cannot express how much I loved this book.It was hilarious and romantic and also a little sweet in parts. Anyone that has read Ember may remember the mystery naked ghost dog walker, walking his ghost dog? Well it looks like that mystery has been solved in this book! I was so excited when that clicked into place for me! I love how all the books just seem to fit together even though it is a multi author series. This book is well worth a 5 star rating!

Yes, It's a Silver Skates story in our beloved city of Silver Springs with the quirky characters and stories we've all come to love so much. But this one is oh so much more. I have no idea where the author got the inspiration for such an offbeat group of characters in a story out of left field. This is one you have to read to believe! So what are you waiting for? just... wow. I should have expected this hysterical book from this author. But even if you are told and given a heads up, it still would not do it justice. Simply put, you need to read this book. As in "why are you still reading this review" need to read this book. Wonder if I should name my next dog Kikkeli....In theory it should be safe to yell in the middle of my street filled with judgmental elderly people...Why are you still reading this? Go read this book!

Who wants to move to Cocovia?!
That was an epic as hell royal book I’ve ever read and I’m not much for royalty books but this one makes me want to move to Cocovia and read this book all over again!!! This book was out of this world good and I just want to recommend it to everyone. Iclyn was freaking amazing and was that a sneaky hint of a cliffhanger at the end lol because if so I’d so read and buy the 2nd book if it does turn into another book.

Iclyn has a bad breakup with her boyfriend who just happened also be her boss! After he promises to blacklist her from working in Hollywood, Iclyn returns home to Silver Springs. She meets a prince and his bodyguard in the men's room she accidentally stepped into at the airport and sees a floating cock on the plane. With this as the start to Iclyn's story, you can imagine how crazy the rest of the story is. Ickyn is a funny quirky story with fun characters.

Iclyn has made me remember the time that I read the princess diary ! It hás nothing to do with it but it was so much fun to read and the princess are such great guys. And Dirk... Oh Dirk you can guard me whenever you want. It is One of my silver skates favorite book. The whole pagent is a fun ride and Erick and Cedric are just so funny and easy to love. Definetly a must read.

This is the 13th book in the Silver Skates series, and they are all such awesome stories! This one is no exception, it is fantastic! I love Iclyn, Erik, Cedrick, and Dirk. Oh, and I especially loved Kikkeli, I cannot forget to mention him! I really loved the wittiness of this story and thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. I can’t wait for more from this amazing “world”!

Absolutely hilarious! I truly laughed so much. This was definitely the most entertaining story I have read for a long time. Iclyn and her men are such a joy to read. Very hot and entertaining. Another wonderful and new author for me to follow. Completely different perspective of a story, different in a fantastic way.

Iclyn is such a precious character and each one of her men fit so perfectly with her personality. The storyline is fantastic and as usual Ms Adam’s writing is on point! This book has so many laugh out loud moments my husband thought I was crazy!🤣🤣 Definitely a book that can turn around a bad day!!

This book is so sweet. Iclyn leaves a bad relationship and goes back home to get back to her roots. You know the saying "there's no place like home". Well this book definitely shows how sometimes it is best to just start over. From the start this book just melted my heart, it's a very sweet romcom. I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it and I highly recommend it.

Hilarious!
This book was so much fun to read! I laughed hysterically at the floating c*ck. Cedrick's entire role was hilarious. Erik and Dirk changing places, sheer brilliance. I would most certainly recommend reading this book in the Silver Skates series. You will not be disappointed!

Loved this addition to the series. It was a nice easy read, their were lots of laugh out loud moments which include a floating male part 😂
I loved Iclyn and the guys and the connection that have together.
The only thing about this book is that I wish their was more! I feel like their is so much more that could happen!
