There are three things I know about Owen Bennett: He’s worth billions. He’s smoking hot. He’s a total asshole.
Oh, and he’s my new boss. Which, I guess is technically four things. But who’s counting? Not Owen. Because all he can do is stare at my chest and make rude comments. He’s unprofessional, lazy, and the single most infuriatingly sexy man I’ve ever met in my life. That’s a thing, right? Hating him and wanting to end up in his bed all at the same time? Which can not happen. He’s my boss for one. And two, I hate him, did I say that already?
Either way, I’ve got 90 days to impress him enough to keep my job or find something new. The problem is, that I’m not great at keeping my mouth shut. And also, I think my libido might be stronger than my willpower.
Send help. And chocolate. And please for the love of everything talk me out of going home with my boss.
Taylor starts the day off confronting a man she meets in the coffee shop. Naturally, he turns out to be her new boss, Owen. Owen, a billionaire who bought the company she has worked for since the beginning, is starting off on the wrong foot with her (again) because she is already fearful that he will ruin everything. She has a contract that requires her to stay for 90 days or she might have quit on the spot!
The two of them are definitely not shy about arguing with each other. She is feisty and speaks her mind, and Owen finds himself admiring her zeal. Both of them seem to be attracted to each other in spite of, or maybe because of, their bantering back and forth. Is their attraction enough to let them work as a team for the company? Can they turn their hostilities into respect and affection?
The story was well-written and fun as the two of them battle to find some common ground. Grab your copy and decide whether there is any possibility of a peaceful resolution or whether they will both go down fighting to the bitter end? Will a misunderstanding make a HEA impossible?
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story was filled with humor, drama and steam. These two were such different people that they almost fit like a puzzle. The book was a fun read but I did not get real invested in it. I am not sure how memorable their story will be for me

You are immediately drawn in in this battle between Taylor and her new boss. I didn’t want to put the book down. I laughed along the way. It’s in multiple POV between the FMC and the MMC.
I can't say I didn't like it, but I can't say that I liked either. It is an easy going and predicatble romantic story. The characters are not so compelling, I didn't really connected with them, but it was fluffy and optimistic. Not bad for a rainy evening at home.
