Six Alphas are stunned as their prayers are answered, and Omegas are miraculously delivered to them from the sky...
Sunny: I can’t remember what happened leading up to my abduction by aliens, but I sure remember waking up!
I’m trapped inside a tiny clear spacecraft, heading to the surface of a planet that doesn’t look familiar. Everyone with me is just as confused as we barrel through the sky in the individual pods we’re strapped inside back to back.
Then, my pod shoots out from the others, and I'm on my own! After that, it doesn’t take long to run into the local inhabitants—but of course, I run from them! They’re… not human, but I realize I can understand them. Could that have something to do with the gnarly scar on the back of my head?
According to the alien that’s now dragging me around and punishing me like a child, I belong to him. He’s smoking hot even though he’s purple, but his possessive streak is a little over the top...
PLEASE NOTE: This Sci-Fi Alien M/F Omegaverse Romance features an ABO culture complete with Omega fated mates, heats, knotting, and spanking by a dominant, possessive Alpha. It contains Adult Language and Steamy Adult Bedroom Scenes. It is intended for 18+ Readers & Adults Only.
It's part of a science fiction romance series but can be read as a standalone story with its own HEA.
I love to write about the same genre I love to read... Science Fiction and Romance go hand in hand in my mind! Right now, I can’t imagine writing anything else. From earth to the stars, I’m always thinking about what if… Now I'm writing full time... Spinning tales from my back porch to you.
A new Omegaverse series, with an intriguing over arching story line. I really enjoyed this series opener (I love SFR). Kaneer was such a big, growly, possessive, and very dirty talking alpha. Sunny is a smart, feisty human who has no clue what the hell is going on with her body or how the hell she got wherever it is she is! They are immediately drawn to each other in ways neither has ever had to deal with. Crazy steam ensues. We are just getting into the meat of the story line and we are left with many questions about the weird things happening on this new world and what happened to the other human women. I can't wait for the next one.
Once she lands in the pod and the Dual POV starts all is well until one chapter is the Alpha next is her and it goes back and tells the same thing from her POV. It makes it repetitive and drawn out. Therefore it's a DNF for me.
Alpha Siege sets up an interesting premise, with six women shipped down to a planet in individual pods and left to their fates. In this book, Sunny is found almost instantly by an alpha male named Kaneer. He knows that his planet is protected by weapons from an earlier war, so he doesn’t believe Sunny when she insists she is from a different planet. But he does know that he wants to keep her for himself when he senses her omega nature.
Alpha Siege is an oddity of a book. There are a lot of references to a below- and above-ground culture, but no real explanation given of it. It was challenging to read the chapters written from Kaneer’s POV because he thinks in terms of a culture he understands (but we don’t). Since Kaneer can’t believe that anything could make it past his planet’s defensive barriers, he expects that Sunny knows and understands his culture. Sunny, of course, knows nothing of it—but neither do we as the readers. And because of Kaneer’s beliefs about Sunny, he never bothers to explain anything of his world to her (or to the reader). So much of the book is a bit bewildering, as we’re given oblique statements about the culture of this planet without ever really understanding it. Late in Alpha Siege, new characters are introduced who might reveal more about this planet in future books. But Tate is taking a leap of faith that readers will follow her into future books, and that might not happen due to the lack of explanation in this one.
The A/B/O dynamics are well set up, and Sunny and Kaneer’s encounters are sensually intense. But there’s a curious manner of writing that Tate employs in Alpha Siege. Told from alternating POVs, each chapter rewinds a bit of the action from the previous chapter to give readers the alternate perspective from the one they just read. And that gives a strangely jerky feel to this book, a sense of taking “two steps forward, one step back” in advancing the plot.
Sunny and Kaneer are likable characters, and I appreciated that Tate avoids a stereotypical villain—Sunny and Kaneer’s struggle is in understanding one another. I just wish we had more explanation of the world and less repetitiveness of what I’d just read in a previous chapter. Hopefully these things will be rectified in future books in this series.
I really enjoyed reading this interesting omegaverse romance & it is a splendid start to a new series. The plot has fairly good world building & is well-paced with some unexpected, intriguing incidents that are well-described. The characters are individually very unique with complex personalities & have good chemistry between them although one of them is quite domineering while the other character reacts with realistic emotional feelings & reactions to the unconventional situation she find herself in. It is about: several women who find themselves in a strange glass-like cube that later break up & sends them in different directions over an unknown planet. There is: an independent human female (Sunny Cavanagh) finds herself on a unknown planet & is promptly captured by a huge most unusual-looking purple alien (Kaneer) who is quite positive that Sunny is his mate, a strange planet (Alta), hot alpha male aliens, genetically altered human females, betas, various kinds of dwellers, strange creatures, prophecies, action, adventure, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, abduction, danger, threats, confusion, languages & cultural differences, strange attractions, mates, discipline, spankings, mild BDSM, jealousy, heat issues, steamy scenes, bonding & a happy conclusion. I look forward to the next book in this series with great anticipation.
Human females are kidnapped, altered, transported to another planet to be Omegas to their Alphas?
Whew! What can go wrong? An attraction that neither the female nor the male can resist, damaged pods entering the atmosphere, hostile clan beings on an alien planet, seizures, earthquakes.
This is the story of one human female Omega and one male alien Alpha. There is an instant attraction between the main players--then there is a lot of graphic sex with the heat index off the charts.
Sorry, but you will have to read the rest of the series. You are left wanting to know more.
I received a free ARC. Four stars because there is only a temporary resolution, the story continues.
Yall this was my very first venture into the “omegaverse” …. And honestly I’m not sure if I will be venturing back into it. This one was a weird one. It was immense fantasy that was so bazaar it became comical. I discovered this genre writes in a far-fetched manner and the more unbelievable it is the more likely it will be written into the story line. It was an interesting experience to say the least. It’s very raunchy, a bit disturbing, extremely comical and has you screaming oh my gosh what in the world am I reading right now and why can’t I stop. 1000% don’t recommend lol. 😂
Can you imagine being on a plane and waking up only to find yourself on another planet....a planet full of danger and a domineering alpha? An alpha who can make you feel things you’ve never felt before? If you can’t imagine it, read this book and find out how amazing it can be!
The writing and editing of the ARC version of the manuscript was pretty clean, with only occasional typos or wrong word choices for the context of the sentence, but not enough to detract from the overall reading experience. Hopefully they will be fixed in the retail version. The world building was okay, though not especially vivid. The characterization was okay, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic individuals, if not very nuanced. The development of the romantic relationship was adversarial and hot. There were some BDSM elements to this romance. I would rate the heat level at four chili peppers. The plot and pacing were tight and exciting, meaning that I read this novel in one sitting. There was low angst and high stakes in this novel, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. There was the Captive trope and the Mating Bond trope in this romance. The world building was three stars. The plot and pacing were both four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship were both three stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of three stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger ending, so that was a big plus. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy tight, exciting plotting and BDSM elements in their sci-fi romances. I might be interested in reading the next book in this series when it releases. I do not plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel, because of the weak world building and characterization.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sunny wakes up in a spaceship/pod where she and a few other women have apparently been abducted. She doesn't know where is she or where she's going, but there is some sort of turbulence and then she's landing. Thus begins the adventure.
As it turns out, she was headed straight for Kaneer, who is the alpha to her omega. She doesn't know any of this though, and even though she can understand him, he can't understand her (at first). That makes it very difficult when he wants to punish her for doing something where there's a serious misunderstanding because of language. And there's lot of punishment. But don't worry, not in an abuse sort of way ;)
This could be the start of a good series. I am curious about the way their society has developed, and the I wonder about the whole goddess/earthquakes going on. I didn't feel incredibly connected to the characters, which is why the rating wasn't higher for me.
I came from reading Book 4 - loved it, so I went myself backwards. Was super curious about for once a Asian FL..Sunny! I'm torn between a 2-3 since there were SOOO many moments where I wanted to DNF. But I guess my brain is like Sunny and the sex was too hot and I kept on going.
First off I Have to say coming from Book 4 to Book 1...a LOT more world building/understanding society is done in Book 4 compared to Book 1. If I just dived into Book 1, it would've been harder to understand the specific world dynamics. However it could still be read alone since I mean if you regularly read alien abduction romances - you could just go with whatever flow.
Kaneer.............hmm... I feel like I can't say he's an alphahole, but...he sorta is??? The reasoning is that he just /is/ the way he is because he's the Alpha of that area and all his actions were up to their society. Expected and his norm. But then again he really didn't believe or try with Sunny in saying she's an alien, so that's where I'm sort of torn -
What I liked (later) from him? He's a growling possessive, dirty talking alpha. Like dirty talk which is so hot - but with Sunny she basically like...not into his discipline, and more looking forward to the happy ending sex.
Even if there's dubcon, I felt that since we are in Kaneer's brain and thoughts as a reader you see and get his logic. Which is interesting, but weird and also makes you torn. And for Sunny she's also actually in that same mindset of like...torn since she's on a alien planet, what COULD she do even if she was able to run away, but still wanting to be like - out. I felt that type of writing was interstingly real, but that had it's own drawbacks since it's frustrating. Then at the same time though Sunny should have just...gone? She's 35??? She's smart? But the only real conclusion I could draw based on the reader clues is that - sex with Kaneer is so good.
I didn't care though that Kaneer's ex-sleep partners were around though, he didn't touch them after Sunny - but still sorta...weird and there's a scene where they all huddle around Sunny pissed as fuck at her, since now they aren't going to be favored by Kaneer.
I didn't like or feel that Kaneer gave enough grievance and grovel enough to Sunny later when he finds out she's telling the truth AND is the blessed Omega.
But side note, did I miss it but not until the end did Kaneer say how he had been called to the breeding center? I thought in the beginning he said he was never called? (Book 1 doesn't detail it, but in Book 4 I knew what it was al about) So doesn't that mean he has his own younglings running around? I mean I guess it doesn't matter in this society...because that's their norm.
Compared to Book 4 though if I /JUST/ look at the sex - it was hotter honestly and if it wasn't for the weird dubcon with Kaneer, I'd give those scenes a 4.5/5 in steam. I did still really like the dynamic of Book 4 characters so I'm going to continue reading this series - but still was surprised that this book was just...yeah totally different than I expected.
This was free the other day so I figured I would check it out. I'm glad I did because I totally got into this story. So much so that often I just wanted to keep reading when I had to stop.
Admittedly, there were a lot times that I hated Sunny because she made such incredibly stupid decisions. But my annoyance would usually fade pretty fast. Sunny got kidnapped from Earth along with a handful of other women and has absolutely no idea why. The women are quickly separated after they all regain consciousness and Sunny finds herself in the middle of an open field. Having no idea where she is or if there are people anywhere, she decides to head towards where she thinks she saw water. Doesn't take her too long to find out there are people...just very alien, very purple ones. Coming right for her. And in her panic, she runs.
Kaneer is alpha of his camp. He has taken an assignment from the people in power than live below ground to capture a fugitive because the bounty is a great one. While out hunting, he sees this flying craft and decides to go after it. After all, there should be nothing like that possible on their planet anymore. He didn't expect to find a tiny, pale female alone in dangerous territory. And then she runs from him!
The frustrating thing about when Sunny gets caught by Kaneer is that she can understand him thanks to an implant she was given, but he has no idea what she's saying. So he punishes her the way he would any female for her defiance because he can't imagine that she doesn't know any better. It doesn't take long for Sunny to be able to also speak his language, but that doesn't even help much because now he just doesn't believe she's telling him the truth. Despite these punishments, or maybe because of them, Sunny finds herself in unfamiliar territory. Ever since he showed up, her body has wanted him with a painful intensity. And it's a shocking thing when he tells her that it's because she's going into heat as an omega.
By the time her heat has mostly passed, Kaneer's people have found their bounty. But this alien knows a lot more anyone expected and is about to turn everything on it's head. And there is no way that they can hand him over any more. Especially when they learn he has found another human female and hidden her away.
I definitely want to check out the rest of this series someday. And soon.
Oh my god, I think I’m brain dead now. I wasn’t expecting this mess of a book. Oh lord where do I even begin. I know we all like to indulge in some dirty reading but if you have any sense of pride, DO NOT PICK THIS UP. RUN, DON’T WALK AWAY FROM THIS.
I read ice planet barbarians and that is a gem compared to this. Just why. I hate this trope of creating such meek female protagonists. Ugh.
Sunny, the female MC is supposedly 35. THIRTY FREAKING FIVE. Can you believe it? Cause I know I don’t. It’s like ludicrous to think that an establishes, educated, adult woman would ever be okay with being manhandled in a dangerous and strange situation. For crying out loud, you don’t know where you are, you don’t know what they are. How can you be so okay with this shit!
First encounter and BOOM, he straight up spanks her and jizzes on her for running away because apparently that’s in his culture to do that and all is okay because he feels this pull to her and of course they’re a fated pair. Fuck. I know the book and plot is tryna tell you that MCs are pulled together because they’re fated mates. But let’s be logical, they’re literally different species.
Kaneer may have such a biological instinct but Sunny is a damn human. I can’t tear myself away from reality so much so as to believe that all of a sudden when a Humana gets kidnaped, she suddenly has a spontaneous shift in her biology. No. You want hear it in Spanish? Noh.
The worse part is how sunny just lets it all happen, she accepts all this weird shit that’s happening to her like this normal. At some point Kaneer says Sunny is so witty and intellectual and it’s all so damn attractive. SHOW ME THEN. CAUSE I JUST SEE DUMB. I just -
I can tell you what this story lacked, intelligence. And I am ashamed I even read it. Why do I do this to myself, asked my last brain cell. Hello brain? Please come back, I’m sorry I did this to you.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I have so many questions though. They weren't all answered in this book. I am hoping they will all be answered by the end of this series.
How did these women end up here? Are they really going to save this planet? Is that why they were brought there? So many questions still!
I loved Sunny in this book. She is so strong and trying to keep it all together when finding herself in a strange land and not knowing how she got there. Everything is different to what she knows. From the people on this world. To the animals and plant life. Even the sun is different on this world. She is outraged at how she is punished and treated like a child by the Alpha who rescues her. But somehow she also loves how he treats her. She is so confused by this and tries to make sense of it as best she can while hoping to find the other women that she arrived with on this planet.
Kaneer.. got to love this man. If you didn't you would want to smack him silly. Even though he can plainly see that she is different from everybody else on this planet he refuses to believe that she could be from anywhere else other then there. He is convinced she is trying to deceive him about almost everything that she tells him. When she goes into heat and doesn't realize what is going on he still has a hard time believing that she is telling him the truth. This man drives me crazy with how determined he is in not believing that she is from another planet.
I loved this story and I can't wait to read the rest of it.
This is the first book in a new series by Pearl Tate and it's fantastic! If you are a lover of the Omegaverse then you know what to expect. If you are new to the genre then this is a great story to dive in. Kaneer is a definite Alpha but not an Alpha-hole, which keeps the story from being too dark. I'm not sure I would categorize it as dark, at all. There are some spanking scenes but nothing brutal or violent. Sunny isn't exactly what I would term a willful female character. She's independent in the way that she doesn't cower to Kaneer, but she doesn't go out of her way to stand up to him much either. I think this is partly because of the premise of the plot and not so much that she is a weak female. She is very occupied with trying to figure out what's going on and why she's ended up on this strange planet. The chemistry between the characters is great, there is the perfect amount of sexy scenes, and the romance progresses at a nice rate. There is an element of insta-lust, common in Omegaverse, but the feelings develop slower, and it all ends with a wonderful HEA.
One of the things that I loved about this one is the rich story line. There are a lot of things hinted at in this one and I'm curious to see where it all goes. The world development is also amazing and I'm looking forward to more descriptions to explain the world and the people who inhabit it. This is going to be a great series and I can't wait to read the rest of the stories.
So hear me out. I liked this book. It was fine. But that’s all it was. Mind you, I’m difficult to please with this genre and insanely picky about it because it’s my favorite and I’ve read just about everything in it. That being said, I don’t mind the lighter omegaverse books, even though dark is my preference. I appreciate that this book had elements of both. My real struggle with it was that the female didn’t seem to have a lot of internalization of omega traits. It was “oh he smells good. Guess that’s about him being an alien” and “I just want to get comfy and move blankets into position, guess that’s being an omega now” and worst of all most of her heat was just flat. No fear of his apparent humongous member, no uneasiness about sleeping with an alien or even the things her body was going through. Like… you’re gushing fluid and burning up but not at all concerned about it? That was no fun for me. He’s not really alpha hole enough for me too actually. I want more arguing and conversation and resistance and thoughts! Anyways. I may read the next one. As I said. I didn’t necessarily dislike it.
A great beginning story to start this series. The world building was quite detailed - bottom and top dweller races who have some tech but have abandon them many years ago, the plot was easy to follow - abducted Earth women meets Alpha alien who claims the women as his, and the characters - Summer and Kaneer were likable with interesting interactions and steamy romance written in the BDSM format. Summer wakes up in a strange plane with a force field surrounding her with other women who are screaming and chattering whom she introduces herself. She notices their hair was cut and they have been operated on and have a scar in the back of their head. When a women disappears panic ensues. Summer then feels herself being rejected and is taken to a strange purplish planet. Summer is found by Kaneer when her craft flies over his head when his team is out on a mission to pick up supplies. Overall this story was a steamy romantic alien romance I enjoyed reading and reviewing via Booksprout.
Sunny's world is turned upside down when she awakes in a pod crashing on an Alien world. She's a modern human, yeah no clue about aliens, or life on other worlds, and this happens... rude awakening doesn't even begin to cover it.
Kaneer is an Alpha, a leader who knows as soon as he scents Sunny that she isn't like the others his people have encountered before... but he also knows his planet has been cut off from other worlds, so how to make sense of this unexpected woman and her arrival.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read has a lot of interesting, and truly expansive, world building. We explore this new world, its culture, and uncover a few... possible mysteries of life here on Alta.
This fun read sets up an interesting world, and suggests it will be a series of 6 stories (6 women like Sunny were in pods that crashed) leaving me eager for the next installment.
Alpha Siege is book 1 in the Omega Mates series and has wonderfully creative writing full of suspense, excitement and a strong plot.
The Omega Mates has a plethora of abducted human women, protective and possessive Alpha males, an alien species and planet in turmoil, strange and unusual creatures, mystery, danger, adventure, secrets, deception, steamy attraction, fated mates and love and acceptance. Nothing is left out and I highly recommend this series for a fantastic binge read!
I think it is important to note that you should read this series in order. The characters, events and story line all run concurrently and the end of each book is a bit of a cliffhanger that will lead you right into the next book. There is also a bonus novella that should not be missed called Jalen’s Challenge that I think should be read before book 4 in the series, Alpha Breed.
I liked the prequel novella much better than this one... I just couldn't like Kaneer, he's basically an asshole. He practically rapes her at their first encounter, and everyone (including the FMC) is perfectly OK with that... well, I wasn't! Also, when changing POV's, the author rewinds the events that were previously described, which makes it repetitive, and quite honestly I just began to skip the beginning of those chapters, becuse I already had read that part... There are things that aren't explained (namely, why all of a sudden the human woman is in heat, when that's not natural for us), and the culture is not described very well. No one seems to care if Sunny knows their culture, they just assume she does and is just lying about it, so they don't explain, which leaves the reader as confused as her. I assume more will be described in future books, but I'm not sure I want to continue the series.
Another great start to a new series. I can't wait for the next book. Sunny and several other women awaken on a craft crashing. They don't know how they got in this predicament or what is happening. Sunny's craft gets ejected from the others and she ends up alone. She tries to make the best of it and goes in search of water. She finds the planet colors are not the same as Earth and she finds some of the native creatures as well. She is saved by a purple humanoid. Kaneer hears a hissing noise and goes to investigate. He finds a female that he believes is from his planet. He doesn't really believe Sunny or her actions that contradict everything he knows. He just knows he wants her badly. So what happens now?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sunny opens her eyes to find she is on a pod-like space ship hurtling toward an unknown planet! She is rescued by Alpha Kaneer who believes that Sunny is lying to him about the story she gives him. Some changes were apparently made to her while she was unconscious in space. Her body is reacting intensely whenever Kaneer is near her. She has never felt anything like this before. Does Kaneer recognize her as his fated mate?
My only objection is that, although I love aliens and will grab up just about any sci-fi book I come across, I positively do not like discipline, punishment, or spanking themes, feeling they are completely inappropriate as relates to adults. They are also totally ludicrous in an alien sci-fi scenario of a powerful alien beating on a much smaller human, and it does ruin my enjoyment of the overall story. That is not love or pleasure – it is cruelty.
This story has a super start. Imagine your were travelling by plane on a normal business trip when suddenly you wake up to find yourself in some odd transparent flying box with a bunch of other women is similar conditions, only to crash in an strange purple planet, all alone. Our heroine meets the fauna of the place and of course is rescued by her alpha male (soon to be her mate - with many sex scenes). I loved all the communication issues, they are always my favourites and all the mystery that surrounds this events. Everyone is mystified and there is a prophecy i the mix. I'm super curious! This first book will definitely left you wanting for more.
One curious thing about the writing style is the alternation of point of view between the main couple characters with full overlapping. One could totally make two books out of this one.
I couldn’t finish this book. I tried numerous times (at least 15 - I hate quitting books), but I couldn’t get past the awful stream of nonsense from the “heroine” who, based on all the idiotic thoughts the reader is treated to, must be a vapid airhead. I’m guessing the author was trying to be amusing, but it was just annoying.
Books like Twilight and the rise of self-publishing have convinced many would-be authors that writing in the first person is easier and sounds more natural. However, it often leads amateur authors to write as if they’re speaking on the phone or posting on Facebook - completely unedited and with no sense for how to convey information in a manner that transcends words on a page to become a story that lives and breathes for readers. Sadly, this applies fully to this novel, and I cannot recommend it.
I'm not usually a scifi person, but this book was actually pretty OK. I was super glad to find that the female in it wasn't a total bitch as tends to be in many romance novels nowadays. The male character was definitely alpha but without being a total dick. And the storyline was as plausible as you can make for a scifi book. So all in all pretty OK. The only real complaint I had was it took 4 chapters for them to meet which kind of drug things out. And for whatever reason the author kept recapping half of the previous chapter just because it was a different pov. That was a bit redundant. I can figure out that he was probably happy to see his hunting partners or that she was confused because He couldn't speak English. You don't need to recap half the chapter for me just because it's a different person's pov.
Sunny is wondering what happened when the pod she's in veers away n heads toward the planet. She doesn't see any way to control her descent as she heads towards trees. The lid on the releases n she leans over when a net appears, she scrambles down the net, jumping the rest of the way n landing in the dirt. Another part of the pod opens n a backpack tumbles out containing water n nutrition bars. Kaneer saw the pod landing n decides to check It out. When he sees Sunny caged against a tree by a huge hairy Sak. He kills it n throws Sunny over his shoulder. What he doesn't understand is his attraction to her or need to protect her. He also doesn't understand how he knots inside her, according to legends that only happens between an Alpha n Omega. There's a prophecy that 6 Omegas will come n save them. What they save them from is a mystery, for now.
Normally I don’t like when people write they couldn’t put it down til the end. I have to make amends for that. Because I couldn’t. I even had to put an folder on my desk to hide that I was reading instead of working... tsetsetse...and now I have to wait on the next one. It’s highly unappreciated to have to wait! Even if Sunny and Kaneer have their HEA, I still want to know about the other girls and actually about the future of Alta. Stupid me.. Ok, to use appropriate review language, this was a very good written little book with an enticing storyline, wonderful characters, suspense, romance and hot encounters very nicely packed up in an all around captivating lead story.
I received a free copy of this book from the author via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
M/F Omegaverse story and the start of a new series. Sunny wakes up to find she is strapped in a strange craft with other women and is moving quickly to an alien planet. Then the craft breaks apart and they are all sent in different directions. This is Sunny’s story and it looks like it will be a standalone with the other women being the stars of the other books in the series. Sunny is promptly grabbed by Kaneer, a native alpha who believes she is the answer to his prayers. He’s big and purple and alien and Sunny is pretty sure she’d be safer somewhere else. Likeable characters and a fast paced read. I love Sci-Fi romance and this is a good one although spanking isn’t my fave, and it does occur in this story, it still moves quickly and ends on an HEA.
This was an exciting story. There is action, drama, danger, purple aliens, confusion, cultural differences, language differences, passion/lust and love. Omega and and Alpha. Sunny and a group of Earth women end up on the planet that's not Earth. Kaneer is the Alpha that finds Sunny but he thinks she is lying about being from another planet. Sunny has never felt her body reacting like it does around Kaneer. This is the first story about the Omega Prophecy. There are above dwellers and and bottom dwellers. I really loved this story and hope that each of the other women who landed on this planet get their own story. Maybe it will start with Gail and Pup.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the repetition. Several of the chapters were exactly the same except it was from the others viewpoint. I like when viewpoints go back and forth but only if it adds to the story. Other than that the book was really good. It was interesting alien omegaverse. The world is unique and I enjoyed reading about some of the species. I'm really excited to read the rest of the series. I want to learn about the phenomenon that surround the planet Alta and how the women are going to help save the planet!
