The job? Steal the heart of a god from the kingdom of the dwarves.

I've met Magnus, the man who instigated the attack on my guild, and rather than fighting him, I’m helping him. He’s shown me the truth about Nexus and left me reeling. Now, to return home and see Eris again, I'll have to complete the hardest job I've ever considered.

Journey to Aldrust and steal their most prized possession.

The stakes couldn’t be higher, and failure risks everything. It's an impossible journey, one almost guaranteed to end my life. But it's finish the job or lose Eris forevermore.

Good thing I'm used to impossible missions.

Loved the way story has shifted from pure RPG style world exploration writing to a fantasy world war description. Protagonist was better than the first book yet he lacks an understanding of his own upgraded body which sometimes feels weird coz one would first look after what has changed after upgradation, test it out but protagonist never seem to do that. All the ladies just love him unconditionally. He is living the Harem dream one might say!!!!
Book was good enough for me to read next book as soon as it hits the shops.

Enjoyable continuation

I enjoyed the story and will be reading the 3rd book as soon as I post this review. 1 minor issue got to me. Jasmine was using 2 swords; that is dual wielding, not duel weilding.

Really enjoyed the expansion of the overall story and world building. Great pace, a little spicy at times, and insane fight scenes.

Everything I wanted in a dark fantasy litrpg...

After the last book I was really hoping I had finally found a Litrpg series with a monogamous relationship. Oh well, I’ll keep searching.
