I cannot get enough of these short passages into the lives of these wonderful characters. They make your heart swell with love and joy. I am very thankful to sneak back into these worlds because once the book is over, you want to dive right back in. But Annie and Frankie...I cannot wait for their book!!!!!!!

This one gave me all the feels. Showcasing love at different stages and ages, this book left me feeling so much joy and happiness that I couldn't stop smiling. While you don't have to read the original stories that these characters appear in, knowing them and their back stories gives a deeper understanding and appreciation for their love. Probably the sweetest book I've read all year.

I truly wish I could give this book more the 5 stars, it deserves so much more.
Caroline’s Surprise, is what I would have wanted for myself as a 25th wedding anniversary. Ice and Wold are to me what I think almost every woman would like in husband, loving, strong, and a Alpha male through and through. Thank you for a wonderful story that grabbed my heart and made me wish again.
Carnal Comfort, What can one say when one is having nightmares, they are no fun, but having someone by your side that cares and loves you above everything, another dream come true.
Best Christmas Ever, what a way to start, by meeting the one destined for you above else, the best Christmas present one could ask for. Hey Santa have you got one to spare I could use another love in my life.
First Kiss. To me this was almost the most anticipated story, who does not love Annie and Frankie.
and to be that respectful while so young is the top of the cake or life. Than Annie sees him as her hero is so warm and made me feel gooey, that he respected her and her parents was wow, left me speechless and warm all over. Both still have much to overcome and to be honest I can't wait to read their story and see what the future holds for both of them.

These shorts were fun to read, but I'm not going to lie, I was 100% here for the Annie story. There is something about that girl, from when she first appeared on page, that has made her my favorite character. I like seeing her grow up, love the connection that she has with Frankie and I hope they do stick togther. And as much fun was it was to see their first kiss, it was just as much fun to see Fletcher and Emily see it as well, along with their reactions, especially daddy Fletcher.

Great collection of stories! I enjoyed catching up w/ some of my favorite characters & meeting new ones. Really enjoyed the Christmas story, and of course getting a peek into Annie & Frankie's growing relationship! Super sweet & perfectly done for the YA couple - along w/ a steamy little snippet courtesy of Emily & Fletch. ; )

Forever Friends
Crazy, maybe I am. I consider the people in Susan's books, andy other authors books, as friends. And I love reading new stories of their lives. I know these are fictional characters but I also know that real people have gone through the things these wonderful authors write about. So I call them friends. Our lives ebb and flow through so many different things along life's journey, it is nice to reconnect with things and people from our past.

Another Moment in Time is by Susan Stoker. These short stories were written for advertisement of various novels. This book covers three short stories that lead to various books in her series.
Caroline’s Surprise stars Caroline and her Delta Force husband Matthew “Wolf” Steel. They are celebrating their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Matthew has brought her to the hotel where they were to get married twenty-five years ago; but circumstances intervened and they ended up getting married at the hospital. Now she is at this fancy beach hotel, dressed in a long, beautiful pink dress and feeling like a princess. They are headed out to dinner; but Wolf asked her to take a walk on the boardwalk as he had a surprise, he wanted her to see. In spite of the wind, she agreed and off they went. Would the surprise be worth getting her hair and makeup messed up on this important day?
Carnal Comfort is about Trigger. His girlfriend had been kidnapped and they had rescued her. She was currently staying at his apartment. Hearing a noise, he woke up in the middle of the night only to find her missing. He followed the noise into the living room where he found her in the midst of a nightmare. He woke her up and cuddled her. He asked her what her dream was about; but she wouldn’t tell him. He carried her back to bed and told her that he wanted to always wake up with her in his bed and for her not to leave it for something like a nightmare. He wanted to be there to help her through it. If he was awakened every night, that was okay, that is what he was there for. She agreed as she fell asleep. Would she trust him with her nightmares?
Best Christmas Ever involves Chris and Sienna. They had met in Texas and immediately knew they were somehow linked. Would they every figure out what that meant? They were now spending Christmas together and believed it to be the Best Christmas they had ever had. Was it?
First Kiss is a continuation of the story of Annie Fletcher and Frankie Sanders. They met when they were seven and fell in love. She told her parents and Frankie his Godparents that they were going to marry someday. Now they were teenagers. Neither had the desire to date anyone else although they lived very far apart. Frankie has come for a Christmas visit. Annie is beside herself with joy. They find themselves wishing for time by themselves so they could exchange their first kiss; but Annie’s little brothers claimed their time with Frankie and her parents were great chaperones. Even the bullies at the mall kept them apart. Although Frankie managed to stop their bullying. Would they ever find time alone before he left?
The book was fun to read and seeing some of the characters from the books I have read was very interesting.

Another Moment in Time gives us glimpses into moments in some familiar couples' lives. It's a perfect glimpse into the future past their stories. Yes, we have yet to read Annie's story as it hasn't been written but we have watched her grow up a bit since we first met her in Rescuing Emily. She and Frankie's story has already started and it's been fun to watch, their first kiss was perfect (sigh). Wolf has never been a romantic kind of guy but what he gave Caroline on their 25th anniversary was so sweet and proved how much he loves and respects her. It was swoon-worthy for sure! Trigger and Gillian's moment is based on her nightmares months after the plane she was on was highjacked. People deal with the aftermath of nightmares differently and I felt that it was perfect for them, for the way they love each other, it's hot and intense so how Gillian and Trigger handled it was perfect for them. Chris and Sienna are new to us as they have not appeared in Ms. Stoker's other series but their story did have some familiar characters even if they weren't mentioned by name. They met in an unusual way but they bonded and it was time for them to each find a happy ending together. It was sweet and I liked both characters. I hope we get to see more moments in time from some more of Ms. Stoker's beloved characters. It was the perfect gift to the readers just as Frankie and Annie's gifts to each other were just as heartfelt and utterly perfect.

Wow
Really enjoyed reading Wolf and Caroline's story about their 25th anniversary and how Wolf's teammates and friends were included. Trigger and Gillian's story was a little sad, but these warriors always stand and Really protect their ladies always. Sienna and Chris's story was heartfelt and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and how Sienna was able to keep Chris calm during his vehicle accident without having a panic attack. And last but not least, how Annie and Frankie have grown with their long distance love, but are still two amazing young adults and knowing they will both remember their first kiss always. Really looking forward to reading there story in the not so distant future. Tried to give these stories at least 5 stars, but my kindle or Amazon was blocking me from doing this, so I will just give all of these stories about 50 STARS. Happy reading.

So sweet!
These short stories encompass the sweetest parts of love at any age. We have Wolf and Caroline celebrating 25 years of love and marriage, along with love of framily(friends who are chosen family); then there is the start of new love for Chris and Sienna, after raising children, and in the midst of meeting during a traumatic situation; and finally, Annie and Frankie, teenagers who’ve believed since they were 7 years old that they would one day marry each other, sharing their first kiss at 16 during Christmas and declaring their true feelings of love for each other.
This was so beautifully written! Ms Stoker has created characters that readers identify with, cheer for, and look forward to meeting again and again!

4 short stories. first up the surprise from "Wolf" Matthew to his bride of 25 years Caroline. So romantic you will not stop till to finish. Next up Gillian and "Trigger" Walker. Moving in together trying to build their relationship shows the after effect of the plane hijacking. Next up is Sienna and Christopher a lovely Christmas story with a twist. And last Annie and Frankie. From the first day they meet we having been waiting for their first kiss. A lovely story of a their true love growing and a look into their future. Love these stories to be taken back to the originals, from the beginning to beyond. You will not be sorry to read these.

A wonderful group of short stories to update us on how some of our favorite stories there lives had been or were going to be someday. Seeing Caroline getting a surprise for the 25th anniversary was a model of love. Annie and Frankie can’t wait to see how this plays out. Also watching Fletch seeing his little girl becoming a strong young woman like many fathers letting go of their baby girl is always hard for them. Thank you Susan for another great read.

We’re nearly to the end of Stoker novels that I can get from my library! This is a catastrophe! This collection of short stories includes Caroline’s Surprise, Carnal Comfort, Best Christmas Ever, and First Kiss. 1) “Caroline’s Surprise- Caroline thinks her husband, Matthew “Wolf” Steel, is taking her out to dinner for their twenty-fifth anniversary, but he’s got a bigger surprise in store.” A very sweet vow renewal story looking back at their lives and those of their friends 25 years later. 2) “Carnal Comfort - When Trigger finds his girlfriend having a nightmare on their couch, he’s surprised and unhappy she left their bed to suffer alone. But when he asks what he can do to help, he’s even more surprised by the answer.” Gillian told Devyn her solution to nightmares in Shielding Devyn. Grin. 3) “Best Christmas Ever- When Chris and Sienna meet during an accident in Texas, the perfect strangers soon discover they’re inexplicably linked…in more ways than one. Coincidence? Perhaps. Or maybe the makings of their very own Christmas miracle.” We don’t know these characters, but they appear to have an interaction with one of the Ranger teams. I very nice story. I like when she does love stories of older adults, too. 4) “First Kiss- Annie Fletcher is far more tomboy than girly-girl; Frankie Sanders has a disability most boys don’t have to endure. But in each other’s eyes, they’re perfect—and the teen sweethearts have waited nearly a decade for their first kiss. Apparently, I missed the story of when they met in “A Moment in Time”, a collection before this one. Again, sadly I’m limited by the library. I read the ebook. 5/5

Oh, I love these Moment In Time books. This one is comprised of 4 short stories, 3 with characters that you may already know and 1 with a new couple but in a familiar location.
In the first story, Caroline's Surprise: Caroline is ready for her anniversary dinner with Wolf. They've rented a room at a fancy hotel on the beach. But, before dinner, he wants to take a walk with her on the beach. Of course, she's all dressed up, but he doesn't mind her getting a little wind-blown. And for good reason... What a way to spend their 25th anniversary.
The second story, Carnal Comfort: This story picks up not too long after Trigger and Gillian got together. Only she's having nightmares about the hijacking where they first met. Wait til you read how she gets him to take her mind off it. Whew!
The third story, Best Christmas Ever: This story happens in Texas when two separate people are traveling to Fort Hood for the return of their childrens' deployment. Little do they know, after meeting because of a car accident, that they are connected in more ways than you would think. A Christmas miracle indeed!
And the last story, First Kiss: This is super sweet. Remember Frankie? Well he and Annie are 16 now and Frankie is spending a week at the Fletchers' house right before Christmas. Super sweet to see these two together. And even better to see him be a hero. So much goodness
Caroline’s Surprise
I was a little worried about this story since the last short story I read had me bawling and all upset. This story had me teary eyed, but over the sweetness. Caroline and Wolf are a great couple and this story showed the beauty of their love and this series. Sweet and short read full of emotion and memory.
Carnal Comfort
Short and steamy. This is more a scene from a book rather than a short story. Gillian and Trigger are in their new place and we see Gillian struggling with nightmares from being in the hijacked airplane.
Best Christmas Ever
Definitely not a typical meeting, but it was a perfect start for them! I liked the instant connection and dialogue. The connection and how they both thought all the similarities were improbable was cute and funny. Well told and enjoyable I flew through this short story!

Precious, strong and had me cheering. Annie has been a favorite in all books she appears in. Seeing a story solely focused on her and her bf is sweet and fun. There is sass, sweetness, promise and of course a dash of the alpha from her dad and an alpha in training when Frankie has his say. My favorite in the whole book!

The four star rating is primarily for Annie's story... so lovely. I truly feel that I know Annie, she has been such a big part of Susan Stoker's universe for me. Annie and Frankie both seem so very young for their life experiences... but, that is no bad thing. I love this world... and have to say that Fletch and Annie were ( along with Beatle & Casey ) are my favourites in this world... ooh, and Truck! So, it was lovely to have a little visit to their part of the universe... and look forward to meeting Annie in... say... 5 years... in a timey-whimey way... not literally!!
I didn't particularly like Trigger & Gillian's origin story... so no biggy for me.
I quite liked meeting Chris & Sienna... sweet quick read. Guessing the drive-by alluding was to Ghost's team?!!!

Nice collection of stories!
Another Moment in time, a collection of 4 short stories by Susan Stoker. Reintroducing us to Caroline and Matthew, fan favorites from Protecting Caroline, is a special 25th anniversary surprise for Caroline, arranged by Matthew. Gillian and Walker from Shielding Gillian give us a snapshot into their lives as a couple. We were introduced to two new characters Sienna and Chris that I would love to see pop up again. It would be great to see their journey move along. And of course Annie and Frankie! If you've Read any of the Delta Team stories, you know who Annie is. We first saw her as a spunky 6 year old being brave. She's now 16 and ready for her first kiss from Frankie. Their sweet interlude makes me anticipate their full story to come.
All four stories had the Stoker charm and style. I left each story with a smile on my face and looking forward to her next release. Enjoy Another Moment In Time!!!!

Reintroducing us to Caroline and Matthew, fan favorites from Protecting Caroline, is a special 25th anniversary surprise for Caroline, arranged by Matthew. Gillian and Walker from Shielding Gillian give us a snapshot into their lives as a couple. We were introduced to two new characters Sienna and Chris that I would love to see pop up again. It would be great to see their journey move along. And of course Annie and Frankie! If you've Read any of the Delta Team stories, you know who Annie is. We first saw her as a spunky 6 year old being brave. She's now 16 and ready for her first kiss from Frankie. Their sweet interlude makes me anticipate their full story to come.
All four stories had the Stoker charm and style. I left each story with a smile on my face and looking forward to her next release. Enjoy Another Moment In Time!!!!

Caroline's Surprise
I liked getting a glimpse of Wolf and Caroline after they had been married for 25 years. This short read about them was a great addition to their story.
Carnal Comfort
I always enjoy getting a little more of the characters that I love and was very excited for more Trigger and Gillian. I think how much Trigger wants to protect Gillian is great.
Best Christmas Ever
The way Chris and Sienna meet is not great but they had such a great connection. I liked these two and that they were older with kids both in the Army.

Another Moment in Time is a short story collection by Susan, which features Wolf and Caroline at their 25th Wedding Anniversary which is so poignant and romantic❣️
The second story is of Trigger and Gillian where she’s reliving the past hijacking😢
The third story was great as well as they were new to me characters and I really enjoyed their story. Sierra meets Chris in a serendipitous moment, when he’s hit by another vehicle. Not thinking about anything other than getting to the person in the vehicle, Sierra and Chris discover that this moment is fortuitous than either first thought😍
And, finally Annie and Frankie share their first kiss💋 Loved them all and super excited to jump into Rescuing Annie now❤️

Annie & Frankie
So first off I had read two of the stories before that had been in an Anthology and it had been awhile since I read them but I still really enjoyed them. But Annie & Frankie’s first kiss was perfect! If you’ve read Susan’s DFH series then you’ve gotten to watch Annie grow up. I love that we, Susan’s fans, fall in love with a character she’ll figure out a way to get us updates/stories on those characters. And then before you know it she’s giving them their HEA. Theater are the types of things that drew me to and have keep me one-clicking Susan’s books for years! Excellent story Ms Stoker, excellent story!

Best Christmas Ever- Chris and Sienna are perfect strangers who meet during an accident in Texas. This meet leads to their Best Christmas Ever.
First Kiss- We have adored Annie Fletcher throughout various stories. It's a delight to see how her and Frankie Sanders' teenage love will flourish during a holiday visit.

Beautiful
This is a lovely series of novellas that gives an opportunity to catch up with several great couples. Wolf and Caroline are always a joy and good to see him ageing so well! My favourite story was Frankie and Annie’s. They feel like kids we have seen grow up which I guess we have. I cannot wait for Rescuing Annie when we see them as adults. Thank you Susan, awesome as always.

Only Caroline's Surprise was of interest to me & it was fantastic. Caroline finally for the wedding she deserves after her original wedding didn't go as planned, 25 years ago, but still got married.
Now Matthew is renewing his vows to her, in front of friends who all came to celebrate with them; all his team & their wives & children as well as all other SEALs they met over the years, & their wives & children as well.
LOVED IT!!!

Wow! Another great book
This book contains 4 short stories. All good but my favourite is 'First Kiss' If you're a Susan Stoker fan you've got to know Annie since she was 6 years old. Now she's 16, and Frankie comes to stay for a week and they share their first kiss. I love it when an author revisits old friends in their books and Susan is very good at this!

Another naughty treat from Ms Stoker!
I love all of Susan Stoker's series, the characters, the crossovers, the sense of family and the love, the main books are amazing...if too far apart! But naughty short stories like these are such a treat, getting glimpses into the lives of characters we already know and love is the perfect Christmas treat! Thank you so much!

I love Annie
Annie is 16 now. I have such mixed feelings about this. I cant wait to see her grow up and I cant wait to see her in the army. I also want to see her in school and little and cute hanging out with Truck. Frankie is grown up too and is at the odd teen stage. They are going to be great. What a great job Susan did getting me to fall in love with these kids.
