Honey Cooper - Cannot believe that her father didn't even bother to discuss the vineyard & the selling of it before handing it off to Jericho Smith. Honey has decided that it's time to leave Gold Valley Vineyards. Since she is pretty much invisible to her family, including her brother & his wife, along with dad who is interested in a rich woman in town. This is her chance to pack up & leave, no need to stay for Christmas since family just left her out in the decision making when it came to her father deciding to sell the vineyard to her brother's best friend. Jericho, basically grew up with her family when his mother died. He is like an adopted member of the family. Obviously, his opinion & purchase meant more than the only blood daughter in the family.
She might has well pack up & take the job that her online love interest offered up north to train horses. Oh & lose her virginity to Donavon. She refuses to be an employee on her family vineyard to Jericho Smith, who she has had a crush on since forever. But they butt heads, argue & she is well aware of his womanizing's ways, since she has watched over the years.

Jericho knows that Honey is resentful of the matter of the inheritance he bought out from under her. It’s a shock that she’s leaving & has plans to carry on with another man. It brings out a strong jealous, possessive streak and the sparks fly!
Jericho thinks it's best to bicker, nag & treat her like the little bratty sister he remembers growing up. That way he can Keep his hands to himself which is the smartest thing he can do.
Jericho thinks he can handle this while he goes to meet his newly acquainted father, & the other million children he created, he wants Honey to watch over the ranch & vineyard. That is when he finds out she has packed up her cabin, & heading out for good. He cannot believe it, & his arrogant behavior is that she cannot go. Honey being independent & sassy tells him who the Hell is he to tell her she cannot quit. Once Honey speaks her mind, the truth comes tumbling out of her mouth of her true intentions of taking this job. As well has her pain about not having the family legacy & she cannot run it as an employee, when she has lived their all her life.
Well, while opening her mouth about her new job up north. She mentions she new about the job based on the dating app she met this Donavon character. Which she accidently in her angry also admits she is intending to lose her virginity. More info that Jericho needs to know especially when he is so hot for Honey.
But instead he blurts out the absurdity of her decision & again orders her she cannot go. That only makes matters worse & Honey informs him it's his problem to have someone watch & supervisor the ranch. He is the owner now. She heads to the her packed up place to get ready to leave.
While Jericho has to take responsibility for taking care of the ranch during the holidays. I guess he cannot go to meet the family?
Jericho asks her older brother to watch over things on the property while he is headed out.
Honey has already started for her trip, until her truck breaks down, no Cell & a blizzard is just starting. My God she made the decision to pick up and leave & now she will die on the side of the road.
Guess who comes to her rescue. The one person she doesn't want to see. Jericho is headed in the same direction for that family Christmas reunion. She refuses his help until he says, that he will not let her die on the side of the road. Get in or he will force her into his truck.
He is headed to drop her to her destination until the blizzard, is getting worse & his truck has overheated. Now they are both trapped together by a holiday blizzard. This is not good for either one of them, & the emotions & passion they have hidden for so long. Being alone together in a vacation cabin out in nowhere land is just not a good idea.
Can Jericho & Honey handle being alone together in the rustic mountain retreat that he found in the forest where nothing but a fire and each other to keep warm. Now the storm inside has only just begun! Will they end up heating the sheets…in this Gold Valley Vineyards novel

I love that theses characters are into close quarters during this situation! Being snowed in a winter wonderland sounds steamy... Don't you agree? It’s definitely perfects for Jericho's character considering he is being pig-headed & won’t acknowledge what’s right in front of his face. Thankfully, Jericho’s stupidity didn’t last for long. Being stuck with Honey brought all his feelings for her to the surface, impossible to ignore. Rancher’s Christmas Storm was a fun combination of unrequited love, enemies-to-lovers, nudged along by a stuck-together-snowed-in situation, and I enjoyed every minute! Read the romance, & watch out for those hot, steamy love scenes

Not as much Christmas as I would have liked thru put the book but there were some spicy scenes.
If I knew it was going to be like this I would have read this book probably in October or November.
The characters were very loveable.
