This is Logan and Norah's story. She's a famous actress who comes to the ranch to honor a dying man's wish. Fate brings her in contact with the gorgeous Caldwell brother, Logan. This is a sweet romance that has a little turmoil when he finds out who she really is and dealing with the paparazzi and her fame. The book is another winner by Milan Watson. A great book that is hard to put down once you start reading. The characters are well developed and likable. I read an arc via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review.

If you are new to the Saddleback Ridge series, they center around a father who divides the family ranch up into several parts: one for each of his four sons. The youngest son, Logan takes care of the financials for the entire ranch. He is quiet and "less cowboy" than his brothers but the ranch is a part of him just like it is for each of his brothers. He is also not as active in the dating world as his brothers are. Enter Nora Carter, Holloywood A-lister. She has come to the ranch for an important job, one that she promised a dying friend. The more time that she spends at the ranch, the more questions she has about her own life. She and Logan hit it off from the beginning, but what can a bookkeeping rancher and a famous Hollywood actress have in common? And what would a well known actress do in a small town in Colorado. Logan and Nora would like to make it work, but is that realistic?
Each of the books in the Saddleback Ridge series can be read as a stand alone, but why would you want to? This is a fabulous series written by one of by favorite go-to authors. Milan Watson writes like she is painting a picture. The broad strokes of the story are written in such a wonderfully sweeping way that you are able to see the big picture of ranch life in Colorado without ever having lived and visited there. Her fine, detailed descriptions allow the reader to truly lose her/himself in the story. She has a way of allowing you to close your eyes and see a Colorado sunset, a thunderstorm apporaching, or a little girl about to dance for the first time on a stage in front of the entire town. Can you read this as a stand alone? Yes, but don't... this series is too good to miss.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This is a wonderful story of the how two people compromised in overcoming obstacles to find their HEA. I loved how the story is written in a dual POV format. This really helps me to connect with the characters and to fully understand why they reacted in a situation.

Norah Carter is an award winning actress. She befriends her grandfather's elderly friend and stays friends with him after her grandfather passes away. Upon the elderly friend's death, she goes to Colorado to fulfill his last wish. She is staying at Falcon's Rest, Dusty's contribution to Falcon Falls ranch. Earlier, Clayton Caldwell gave portions of the ranch to each of his four sons. (The 3 older sons stories are the 3 prior books.) Logan Caldwell is the youngest son. His contribution to the ranch is keeping the books in order. He is in the local bakery when Norah arrives. She is lost and Logan is shows her the way to the dude ranch.

Even though this is a part of the series, you can read this as a stand-alone. I highly recommend reading the prior ones though as they are just a great as this one. There are some scenes that should offend anyone in their "sexiness" as the author just glosses over and it is just a fade to the next scene.

I hope the author continues with the town of Saddleback as I would love to read Bobby's (the Caldwell son's friend and owner of the bakery) and Sawyer's (the town's doctor) stories!

Norah Carter certainly is very familiar with the limelight. After all, she is a famous Oscar winning actress. But…. and this is a BIG but, Logan Caldwell is a simple rancher on his dude ranch. Well, maybe not so simple, but certainly very private.

Country boy and city girl is like East vs West. when that limelight finds its way to Saddleback Ridge, how will it affect Norah and Logan’s growing relationship? Shall never the twain meet or will enough come to light for a happy ever after?

⭐️OBSERVATIONS:⭐️

It would be hard for me to not love this book. First, it is a standalone but for those of us who love the Saddleback Ridge characters, you’ll find yourself enjoying reminders and bits and pieces of who these characters are. For those not familiar with the Saddleback Ridge people, you’ll get to know some of them in a way that helps this storyline go forward and may very well draw you into wanting to know more about them. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself going back to read the Saddleback Ridge books featuring these interesting and beloved people.

I received an advance copy of this book and am leaving my own personal thoughts and opinions. I loved getting to revisit Saddleback Ridge and its delightful, quirky residents.

A touching friendship leads to love:warm 💕hearts, wintry Colorado skies❄

🎭4.5🌟stars📕
This is a good, solid romance series with a strong family of ranching men finding their perfect partners. The couple is very likable, their seemingly incompatible lifestyles their main obstacle. There were nice, extra touches that made this conclusion of the Saddleback Ridge series shine.

- Female lead Norah's touching friendship with Elijah. Their scene together emphasizes her innate kindness and her altruistic efforts to bring a lonely old man a bit of happiness bring Norah unexpected, positive results as a reward.

- Milan Watson has integrated short passages that help the reader who has never read the previous books in the series or, if they have, need a reminder. She's done it well, providing just enough to bring the reader up to speed about the ranch family dynamics without distracting from Logan and Norah's story.

- The book ends on a holiday high with a surprise development for Clayton, the irascible, shotgun-toting patriarch.

I enjoyed it😊.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

I received an ARC of this book from the author, Milan Watson, via Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary and honest review. I enjoyed this beautiful love story about Norah and Logan. Norah became friends with an elderly man in a nursing home who was her Grandfather's best friend. After her Grandfather died, Norah continued to visit Elijah until he died. She made him a promise that she would spread his ashes at Falcon Falls in Saddleback Ridge where he grew up. When she shows up without revealing her reason for renting a cabin at the Caldwell's dude ranch during the winter months, Logan gets suspicious since she is from California. Why would the Caldwells get upset when Norah tells them about Elijah and his final wish. That changes when they get snowed in. Norah is an actress who is at a crossroad in her life. Can Norah and Logan make their love last even though she is city and he is country? You will have to read the book to find out. I highly recommend this book and all the books in this wonderful Saddleback Ridge series.

"Blood matters and love matters" were two of the most important teachings in this very poignant story of love and family. Norah was going to Falcon Falls in hopes of completing a request by her dearly departed friend Elijah. When she got to Saddleback Ridge she needed to stop for directions, and Logan Caldwell happened to be there so she could follow him out to the dude ranch. Unfortunately, she arrived at the beginning a blizzard and when Logan went back to check on her, she was scared to death. By the time he got her settled the storm was to bad for him to leave. The attraction between them was electric and Logan was not sure what to do. Later the next day Norah decided it was time to go to the main house and tell them all what she was there for. What she has to say will brought the family all together and brought their saying "Blood matters and love matters" to the for front. You will laugh, you cry, and you cheer reading this book as it has everything you could ask for. It was the perfect ending for this family series.

Norah and Logan are quite an unlikely match from the moment they are thrown together. As an accountant, Logan likes things quiet and orderly. Nora whirls in with drama - and not just the acting kind. The chemistry is there but can they forge something more, especially once he finds out the real reason she came to the ranch?

This is a fun, short read that can be enjoyed as a standalone but I think is best as part of the series. Some of the people around town are starting to look familiar at this point. It feels like home. If you haven't read about the rest of the Caldwells yet, you will want to after the teasers in this book. I am glad there are more adventures to come in Saddleback Ridge.

Here is my honest opinion of this book. In Matching Ledgers Logan, the youngest son of Clayton, finds his happy ever after. Though he is a sensitive person he can be just as hard headed and stubborn as his father and elder brothers. As with the previous books in the series; this one is an easy and enjoyable read. I enjoyed the suspense created as to the reason for Norah's visit to Falcon Falls and why Elijah would send her there. Mrs Watson once again showed sensitivity to her readers in the way she portrayed the intimacy between Logan and Norah. The ongoing romance between Betty and Clayton comes to a satisfactory end, but the how is worth reading the book to the end.

Norah, an actress trying to get over her actor lover, goes to the Saddleback Ranch to carry out Elijah's wishes. She arrives in a blizzard and meets Logan, the accountant rancher. As he doesn't know who she is he treats her like a normal person, which she likes a lot. The chemistry between them is amazing and due to the blizzard they spend the night together.
Next morning Norah goes to the main house to tell them why she's there, Logan is upset that she didn't tell him but, later, understands.
Then the paparazzi get fotos of them, and things change. Can Norah leave her life behind? Will Logan accept the fame?

Another great read from Milan.

Oscar winning actress Norah Carter lands up in Saddleback Ridge to fulfil the request of an old man. There she meets and falls for Logan Caldwell but intrusion from the press comes between the pair. Logan is a very private person and to have his person and life dissected after knowing Norah for only seven days is a shock that takes him time to come to terms with, and he almost leaves it too late to claim her.

I really like this series and thank goodness there are a lot of Caldwell brothers at Falcon Falls. This book focused on Logan, the youngest of the Caldwell brothers. The story had some mysteries, fun surprises, and Logan meeting the actress, Norah Carter who is staying at the dude ranch. Logan does not seem to recognize her until she tells the Caldwell family why she is there. It was a fun, romantic story and interesting to see if Logan would be able to set aside his stubbornness and follow his heart to finding love with Norah.

Matching Ledgers by Milan Watson is a sweet romance. It's intriguing, charming, and enthralling. Norah, a Hollywood star came to Falcom Falls for a mysterious reason. There she met the Caldwell family, Clayton and his four sons, Ford, Dusty, Drake, and Logan. Logan and Norah were strongly attracted to one another. Something happened to cause that attraction to be snapped. They were from worlds completely different so it was never to be. I loved reading this book. I was hooked from the first page.

This is a beautiful romance between city girl Norah and country boy Logan. Their characters are strong and well developed and have a strong connection. The author does a great job painting her scenes and pulled me in with the sweet story line. I enjoyed watching the relationship grow and watching them work through their issues. It's well written ,moves quickly and smoothly and is a touching love story. I highly recommend this book.

When Norah and Logan meet, it’s love at first sight. It would have been quite easy for those two if only Norah had not been keeping a few “secrets” to begin with. When they come out, Logan does the one thing Norah wishes he wouldn’t do …
I found this plot having less tension, being quieter paced than the previous books. It seems to suit Logan’s and Norah’s character, though. Both have very active lives but enjoy their privacy. This last book of the Saddleback Ridge series sees all the Caldwell men having found their woman, being either married, engaged, or deeply in love, on their way to happiness. Enjoy!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a fantastic series that I have loved since book one! They are well written and one by one the boys have found their soulmate! This latest addition is every bit as good as the rest and has mystery, secrets, romance and so much more! Love the storyline and I just adore Logan and Norah and yep I shed a few tears during and at the end as well as wanting to slap Logan round the back of his head for his stubbornness! I really hope this is not the end from saddleback ridge!

The baby Caldwell has found his star. Logan is the studious Caldwell. Norah is a Hollywood actress. This is another sweet story in this series. It completes the family finding partners for love and life. The story is fun and lighthearted as the boys joke and tease each other throughout. Clayton remains the bedrock of the family to the very end.

Love of family is the most important. Logan is the last Caldwell son still single but after being hurt he does not trust easily. I loved the closeness and teasing in the family. But will Norah happily surprise or shock family? A stunning derail of Saddleback Ridge and stunning scenery and that family is always first. A stunning story that has you rooting for Logan and Clayton.

Small towns, ledgers, actresses and quirky characters.

I enjoyed Logan and Norah. Very much in opposite professions but similar in outlooks.

Logan is a busy small town guy, Norah the successful actress who’s out of sorts.

Recommend.
