She may not know it but she's his dream girl...

Cassie
Guys like Tyson Killaron don't look at girls like me.
A drop-dead gorgeous MMA fighter surrounded by swimsuit models who’d bend over backward, forward, and sideways for him? No, I’m not going to get a second look. But that’s okay – my life’s pretty cool, just as it is. I have great friends, my career’s on the fast-track. Who cares if I’m carrying a few extra pounds?
Okay, maybe I care.
My ex definitely cared.
Now, I’m being drawn into a world of hard men and harder decisions…because I want to get my hands all over that smoking hotness. And Tyson’s offering to be my personal trainer and asking me out! Whatever his motives are, it’s gonna be a one-way ticket to heartbreak. I just can’t risk it. Until the unimaginable happens…

Tyson
From the moment we met, Cassie Cataldi knocked me flat on my ass. She’s Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, and every other silver-screen star all rolled into one. Those eyes, those lips…the face of an angel. And a body that the Devil himself would sell his soul for.
Yet, somehow she’s the only one who can’t see it.
I haven’t figured out how to win her over, and I’ll try pretty much anything. I guess we’re worlds apart – I’m a brawler…and she’s pure class. She’s not interested in my money; she backs off when I get too close. I’m running out of ideas.
I won’t give up the battle for her, though…fighting’s wired into me like the need for air. And I think Cassie’s going to mean as much to me too.

If you love complex, curvy females, hard-bodied billionaires, and men who will fight for their women, you’re going to find yourself falling for Tyson!
This is an adult romance with erotic scenes and occasional bursts of strong language.

This is the second book in the Working Class Billionaires series. You do not have to read the first book to enjoy it. It’s a standalone read, but I will say it was a great story too, but Falling for Tyson is my favorite now. I’m so in love with this book. You absolutely cannot help but fall in love with Tyson. He is pretty much everything I’d look for, kind, caring, loving, faithful. He’s hot too but the way he treats and sees Cassie is awesome. The problem is Cassie, like too many women out there has issues with her body. She just doesn’t see what everyone else sees because of the way she was treated when she was younger and is still being treated by snarky women that have less maturity then most 5-year-old children do. She just can’t see, in her words, why someone like Tyson would want to be with someone like her. Tyson does everything he can to show her how special she is but until Cassie faces those inner demons, she’s never going to be able to be happy and trust him. Can Cassie figure things out before it’s too late? This book packs a pretty powerful emotional punch. The author grabbed my attention from the beginning, and I couldn’t put the book down. I can’t wait to read the next book Falling for Flynn. If he’s anything like Carrick and Tyson book three is going to be great.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

How Dare You???

How dare you write a perfectly sweet, heartwarming, out of left field story about a chubby girl and an MMA fighter !!!

That is absolutely supposed to be the MOST cliche over the top Alpha male insecure female storyline.

This was Most refreshing, It was incredibly relatable but also your fantasy romance cuz who is ever gonna get a Hot AF Billionaire MMA fighter to fall in love with them?

Even when there were times you thought "Wow that's a bit much or cliche" The author was like yeah But that's life! That's how some people think, it wouldn't be so cliche if there wasn't some truth to this! I was like ok, In My Face, you sure told me!

This was awesome, the progression was almost perfect, I kinda fell in love with this Author.

Wonderful book of the girl falling for the fit fighter. Cassie is unsure of herself and down on her appearance due to bullying and lack of connection. Tyson is a good hearted fighter who falls head over heels for Cassie, but can he convince her and put all her issues to rest. Enjoyed their journey of dating to finally getting together, some miscommunication along with self doubt almost ruins everything, glad their friends step in and help them along the way.

Tyson is the best book boyfriend ever. As a world class MMA fighter, he is aware more than most about being body conscious. But when he see Cassie, he sees below the surface and everything that she is. Cassie has been bullied her whole life and can't accept what others see. She believes the hype that a size zero is perfect. Believing Tyson can't possibly be attracted to her, there has to be an ulterior motive. And before he can hurt her, she shuts him out. Falling for Tyson is a great read that will have you laughing one moment and crying the next.

I liked Tyson. He was one hot dude and very sweet. His job required him to be in top shape. Cassie came with baggage. She never saw herself as pretty, and we heard about it throughout the book. The only thing that bothered me was the way the we knew what Tyson and Cassie were thinking. I don't feel it was necessary and got tiresome. Overall, a good romance. I look forward to the next book!

My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.

Cassie and Tyson were characters with childhood traumas that have lead them to their way of living. The story was catching enough for me to want to check this author again. Tyson was a true fighter and an amazing book boyfriend, Cassie was a good female lead with insecurities that blurred their HEA.

Great

Tyler and Cassie. He was in tip top shape and she wasn't. She had self esteem issues. She was bullied.
I really loved how Tyler treated her.
Tyler tries to build her up several ways.
Other characters try to bring her crashing down.
I love the romance, just keep turning the pages. I loved the HEA.

This story starts out really good and then starts going blah for a bit and then it comes back alive right at the end. I am wishing that there was a little more to there romance.

It was OK. Cliche plot (though one of my favorite set-ups), h who became really annoying, and an author who couldn't decide which side of the Atlantic she was writing on - overall, can't rate it any higher.

Tyson (H) is a professional MMA fighter who owns a gym. Cassie (h) is a curvy social media specialist who (after a rather brutal dumping) joins his gym. Sparks fly, and he offers to be her personal trainer. But can Cassie overcome her insecurities to trust Tyson with her heart too?

It's a cliche plot, but one of my favorites - the BMOC/professional athlete and the quiet nerdy type who doesn't see herself as he does. When it's done well, it's tons of fun. He gets someone who sees and supports him beyond the glitz and superficial, and she starts gaining confidence and worth and not restricting herself by any possible bullying, etc in her past. Ideally, they both grow.

Here... well, it's not done as well. She starts shy and unsure and dealing with shallow exes, then begins growing a bit of a spine with Tyson's support, but then crosses to beyond shutting down emotionally. Yes, she's dealt with bullying in her past and superficial exes breaking up with her. But she seems completely incapable of communicating in a relationship. I mean, if she thinks that Tyson is so shallow and petty and vindictive, why is she with him in the first place? Every point that Tyson made when she finally started to talk to him again, I'd been saying for about 15 pages. She's supposedly a strong character, recognizes that the video is wrong and horrible and bullying and that she's a victim, but does nothing about it. Just avoids the problem, shuts down, runs away. No angry phone call, no confrontation, not even an angry note (if she was so serious about avoiding him face-to-face). Any progress she'd made? Totally backslide. And that's the status quo for several months. This is seriously why this book stalled for me and took me quite a while to finish. I was just getting fed up with Cassie trying to run from her problems. And when Just felt so much like she lost all progress she'd gained in the first half or so of the book. By the time she actually talked to him, I was getting pretty fed up. I think it was just a balance in the pacing that threw things for me - too long with her wallowing and running away, and too little of her actually taking Tyson's (justified!) words and Nat's advice and stepping forward.

I actually really liked Tyson and Cassie's friends. It was just Cassie who drove me bonkers. And when one of the leads in the story is problematic...

The other big hang-up I had with this one was the author's jargon. It's set in the US. Cassie talks about the chance to take a job in London, 'a continent away' from her (*ahem* self-exacerbated) problems. But the characters in the US all use British slang. Very American characters like Tyson (who actually mistakes Cassie's accent for British, he's so American and unfamiliar with UK-isms!) use terms like bonnet and goer and paracetamol. It was jarring.

Otherwise, well-edited with few typos and pretty readable.

Alternating 3rd person POV, mostly Tyson and Cassie, with a few bits from friends. No love triangles, no cheating, minor OM drama and OW drama that was really just blown out of proportion by miscommunication. I was enjoying Cassie's growth, but then we spent about a fifth of the book (from 73% to just over 90% on my Kindle) with Cassie avoiding Tyson completely, refusing to talk to him about anything important - including some very important things. That section just dragged too long for me, showing little growth until the end, making it feel more like 'too little, too late' for me to care that she was finally starting to show some confidence again. HEA and no cliffhangers. I did like the 'kinda' epilogue (last section of last chapter), with the cute little jokes at their wedding and down the road.

Would I read more by this author? Maybe. This was a free Kindle find, and one of my favorite tropes. If I find another one free on Kindle?

Mundane and So So

It feels as if Plus size heroines go in two categories: 1) overly sassy and annoyingly unrealistically tartish or 2) so low in self esteem she's a damsel in emotional distress

Cassie fell into the 2nd category and it was annoying to read. The story was painfully slow with horrid pacing. I struggled to finish even though the conflict was glaringly obvious. I especially hated how the conflict unfolded and it made me go from passively caring about Cassie to actively disliking her. The classic "fight for your person" scene was borderline ridiculous in execution. Just all around boring.
