Fetch your own coffee by Kaustubh Sonalkar is a gem. Start reading one chapter a day, enjoy, absorb everything the author says. It's a beautiful collection of stories that will teach you lessons for life.

Each chapter has a story to tell, practical lessons to learn and imply it in our lives. Each chapter is intriguing, will astound you with his observations. From corporate culture to lines between movies, about all the little things that we never notice. It's about viewing things differently.

It has topics that we often want to discuss, things we never tell. Be it the five questions that agile businesses need to stop asking at interviews to the man who saw tomorrow, why you should do absolutely nothing on January 1st to set your soul free now, death can wait.

From the title of each chapter, I was too excited to read this book and I loved it. The way the author explained things is commendable. The crisp and interesting writing style makes it more relatable. One could easily connect to this book over the cup of coffee.

Sharing various examples, facts and stories, it's a well researched and well-sequenced book I would say.
This book is for each one of us, who wants to explore, who want to read something different.
A must-read book.

Just as the title reads FETCH YOUR OWN COFFEE, last weekend I sat down with this book on one hand and with a cup of steaming coffee in the other, determined to have my fill for #nonfictionnovember.

Two is a company, three's not a crowd ;
Welcome to third, out loud and proud

Enveloping almost all topics ranging from globalisation, gender disparity, the rainbow people , values of leadership, self improvement to literally everything under the sun that is to be talked about, FETCH YOUR OWN COFFEE brings everything to in wrapped in a book.

Sonalkar's imapctful popular culture references including 'read between the lines' lessons from films, from cricket (the gentleman's game) and from the little things that are often unnoticed, makes these pieces easy to resonate with.

This one is for those curious, ignited minds who let their minds wander without boundaries. Because the knowledge you get from this book is boundless and it definitely mirrors your personality.

Sonalkar, being a blogger himself is quite adept at keeping the readers attention by not only discussing topics pertinent to modern times but also getting straight to the point with his refreshing take, facts and spot on examples rather than just talking about what has already been said.

Absolutely recommended.

Sometimes a over a cup of coffee, we dive into deep thoughts and our introspection bring to us some impactful understanding about our lives. I have been reading this non-fiction book 'Fetch Your Own Coffee by Mr.Kaustubh Sonalkar' for last few weeks now. I really like it's unconventional content that have been collected from various popularly read blogs over the period of three long years.

Its way of presenting some basic and few not so talked about lessons from everyday for everyone in a very thoughtful, arranged and creative manner actually makes me more eagar to keep reading it.

This beautiful hardcover is an eye candy for sure but again the diverse range of topics it touches like for example, communicating with the present generation, gender equality, feminism, job interviews, third gender, post-millennial topics and many such subjects that present to us various socio-economic and even political aspects of human life makes it a beautiful book that will definitely help us to extend your perspectives. It is a collection of articles which presents many out of the box thoughts and ideas to understand human psychology and learn lessons for the greater good.

The artistic presentation of this book mannered for me a lot. More over the nicely arranged way in which the chapters are presented with creative sketches, quotes and to the point fact presentation in a witty lucid language definitely proves this book to be a very useful one to enrich my thoughts and knowledge base. The new edition of this best seller is also available now.

Fetch You Own Coffee
- Kaustubh Sonalkar

"𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓺𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 𝔀𝓮 𝓪𝓼𝓴 𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝓭𝓾𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓶𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝓻𝓮𝓯𝓵𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝔀𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓸𝔀𝓼 𝓽𝓸 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓽𝓾𝓭𝓮."

A mundane day.

Birds chirping around
Plants dancing in the rhythm of air
The first tiny droplets of rain
A child learning nursery rhymes
Someone bitting their nails while watching a cricket match
Scrolling through movies on OTT platforms
Political news and debates around you
The content face of a little one
Sports heroes and Bollywood favourites
Ted talks and Books on failure, success and myths
An ideal leader and a never ending race to be at top

All these seem like every day activities. The same daily routine. You either follow it to the T or just procrastinate the entire day. The rest is just a façade.

But wake up and smell the coffee, the cynic inside you shouts.

We do our best thinking when our minds are free to wander. Moments like these help us reflect on the experiences that we gather while doing daily chores and by observing the little things around us.
Every chapter of this book has a story to tell, practical lessons to learn and imply in life - written and published as separate blogs over three years, complied in this one book of invaluable life lessons. These chapters cover very diversified topics from miscellaneous issues to sports, cinema and corporate culture. It has topics that we often want to discuss and things we never tell. Each chapter is intriguing and will astound you with the author's observations.

From lessons that tiny rain droplets and nursery rhymes teach us to the lines between movies and the spirit of sports - it's about all the little things that we never notice and viewing things differently.

The sketches before each chapter reveal thoughts beyond words and the metaphors used present the truth blended around them.

This book is for each one of us, who wants to explore, who wants to read something different and who observes the little things around them. So here's something for you:

Fall in love
Make mistakes
Listen
Learn
Give
Take
Enjoy your life
Talk to strangers
Try your hand at everything

But more important than these Do's are the Don'ts

Don't doubt.
Don't lose hope.
Don't fear abandonment.
Don't judge yourself by common parameters.

Fetch your own coffee by Kaustubh, are the compilations  of writings from his blog. These chapters covers very diversified topics to most part on miscellaneous issues but majority of them belong to sports, cinema through his years of blogging.

I guess this is my first hand reading of blogging documents complied into a book, which out  like perfectly like a flavorful Hyderabadi biryani. This theme is by and far centered around the HOT-topics and illustrated with perfectly feasible pictures.
With around sixty chapter of about 2-3 pages, the favorites among them are  What Politicians Can Learn From Prostitutes,  25 Shades of Pink, Angels of Death or Agents of Growth.

As the ideas and thoughts are gathered over a period of time, He has complete control of his views on topics, no matter what period it belongs to. It comes with a disclaimer of thoughts that are unique to an individual,  and open to discussion and debate.

I would recommend this for the weekend warrior reader, to gather the thoughts and analyze oneself with a sip of coffee/chai. I rate it 3.85, for conflict of views in one chapter. None the less 5/5 for the catchy book cover ( sighs).

From sketches revealing thoughts beyond words, and words derived from experiences; both from within and the world, the author brings to us his immense potential to interact through his words.

A compilation of articles, facts and learnings, delivered in a form which attracts attention; immediately; and is retained for a long time, the author narrates some invaluable life lessons.

Metaphors have been generously used, and truth blended around it. The chapters are kept short with strong narrative elements supporting them.
The examples and references make the text rich, and suitable for both; concious and subconscious reading. The brightest and the most delicate embracing happens when you decode the sketches post reading the chapters, they immediately start making more sense and seem a lot clearer.

Fetch Your Own Coffee by Kaustubh Sonalkar is a book which talks about topics like feminism, transgenders, equality in genders, generation gap between parents and the current gen. The ideas that the author has put in this book are practical and totally relatable. He has thrown light on these problems from different perspectives and that makes this book even more beautiful.

I went with the title of the book and read each chapter daily with a cup of coffee in the morning and that was just so refreshing start to the day.

The most beautiful thing about the book is it’s cover and the quotes and pictures in the middle of the pages.
