Addison Moore proves again why she remains on the top of my authors to read. As with all her books Fire in an Amber Sky does not disappoint in the least.

Fire in an Amber Sky focuses on Macy O'Conner and Lincoln 'Linc" Lionheart.

If you have read the rest of the series you know Linc (if you haven't I highly recommended them.) He's a playboy, one to never settle down. Only we never understood why...until now. I won't divulge what happened in his past to break him but it is heartbreaking and has impacted his life in a major way.

Macy O'Conner is determined to escape her past after being done wrong by her ex-fiance and stepsister. She moves to start a new life, as a new her. A person who doesn't get walked all over and far from the good girl she was in her past.

Linc and Macy find themselves in quite a hot situation when first meeting. He has a rule of no redheads but that is a rule he is willing to break because he finds Macy irresistible...until he finds out Cannon blood runs through her veins, and that is a no-fly zone for him as his family and been infiltrated by the Cannon's already.

You cannot control fate and you cannot control who your heart is drawn to. Soon Macy and Linc find themselves embarking on a sexual, emotional, heart-wrenching journey of finding out who they are, moving on from the past and figuring out what they want. Can Linc get over Macy being a Cannon? Can Macy move on from her past and survive Linc's secrets? Find out by reading this amazing book.

Addison Moore delivers in true Addison Moore fashion with her secret reveals that leave your jaw laying at your feet and your heart in your throat. Secrets that can make or break what could be an epic love that grips you until the very last line and leaves you wanting more.

Couldn't have found a better way to kickoff my 2018 reading challenge than burning through this seriously hot story. I swear between Macy and Lincoln's sexual chemistry, playful bantering, coupled with more than intriguing backstories of the main and secondary characters, every word that Addison Moore compiled with this book of her series, all but christened it as the amazing love story it played out to be.

Readers will proclaim that "Fire in an Amber Sky" by Addison Moore is... M.A.G.N.I.F.I.C.E.N.T!!!!!!!!

The Lionheart and O'Conner's return more devilishly dangerous and wickedly sweet with Lincoln and Macy as the starring roles. Linc and Sin sizzle and ignite, in more ways than one, in this 3rd book of the Burning Through Gravity Series.

Lincoln Lionheart is one ruthless guy in the boardroom, and one handsome devil to boot, and when it comes to his family, he is very, very protective. He is someone you don't want to cross. But behind that stern persona is someone who is so full of love to give it, yet he hides it. He is trying to forget the past, from what happened..with Jackie.

Macy O'Conner is 3 days away from her wedding, helping her mother with some final arrangements when a certain voice catches her attention. It's Leah, her step sister, whom, to put it mildly, is one annoying piece of work. When Macy rounds the corner to see what Leah's up to, never did she expect to see Leah in a lip lock with her fiance Bradley. To assume the wedding is off is true. Time for a new start.

Macy decides she needs toss out her 'Old Me' and start with "New Me" life, and to forget about what happened those few weeks ago. She takes her mom's offer to go and intern at her Uncle's company, Jinx Enterprises. a Techno Type of company. On her first day she is about to get the shock of her life when she is mistaken for a 9:00 appointment with the devil himself Lincoln Lionheart. And she just might be right.

Lincoln is furious that his appointment is late, he has a board meeting with the O'Conners at 10 and since he missed the gym this am, he has his secretary call a call girl. When her turns around and sees Macy, red hair and all, he is doubly pissed. Her teasing will test his will, but he explodes when he discovers shes a virgin! Sparks are about to fly.

That is just more or less the beginning of what happens after that mistaken identity episode. Throw in a bunch of crazy siblings, step and 1/2, a newly discovered brother, who may be just a rat, a past that threatens to rise again, a traitor amongst them and you have a most gripping story. This is one book that will have you screaming at anyone who interrupts you while reading it.

Hate will become Love...Lies become Truth...A Family once divided will be joined as one..

A must read for anyone..I loved this one the best..

I was graciously gifted an ARC of this book for an honest review..Touche Addison Moore..Brilliant

I am a huge fan of this series, just when I think how can there be any more stories, new characters (new relations) are introduced and I know they will be getting their own story again.

Macy was burnt by her stepsister and ex fiance. But her first meeting since moving to be with the Cannons with Linc is more than a little interesting. Tired of being the good girl who gets walked all over, when he mistakes her for the prostitute he is expecting, she doesn't bother to set him straight. When he realizes she is inexperienced, he shuts it down tight. But Macy is determined to make Linc open up to her and to be her first.

Of course any story about the Lionhearts and the Cannons is going to have drama. And secrets. And sneaky doings. This one is no different.

Things are so complicated, and just when one thing gets settled for this couple, a worse problem pops up. but love conquers all right? The road to their happiness is not easy, but then again nothing in this series ever is!

Once Lincoln gets addicted the boy wants to play hooky, “no way in hell.” I pull a kiss off her lips. “We’re calling in. We need a nap, food, and a lot more effing.” I lick the side of her cheek, and a soft laugh bubbles from her." I really liked this book Lincoln was a broody b****** at times but you couldn't help but love him.

Upon reading this book, I was intrigued to read the series, but I started with this third book in the series, and after reading this book I will be reading the two before it and any that come after. This book is about overcoming the obstacles and hurdles that come our way and try to turn it into a positive.

The book captures two families (the Cannons and the Lionhearts), it started with Macy
catching her stepsister and fiancé together 3 days before their wedding. She then moves and goes to work for her uncles company, where she meets Lincoln Lionheart, who happens to think she is a prostitute, Macy who is still a virgin and was going to save herself until marriage thinks that Lincoln is the perfect guy she wants to be her first, so she goes along with his plan of being a prostitute, until he goes to fair along and realizes that she is still, in fact, a virgin and then rejects her, only to then discover that she is a Cannon. Macy is then relentless into wanting to bed Lincoln that he only agrees due to his jealousy of thinking of her with his soon to be announced brother Luke. They begin to have a secret relationship in which she does lose her virginity to Lincoln, the only person who knows is Luke, due to Macy saying that she was going to sleep with Luke so their sisters wouldn't know it was Lincoln. During a night out Macy starts to "act" like she and Luke are together which in rages Lincoln who he then confesses to the restaurant and his siblings that he is falling in love with her. They then start a relationship which has troubles that are intertwined with work and also with Lincoln keeping his past a secret, about a women named Jackie, who we come to learn was his high school sweetheart and who was the driver in a car with Lincoln when it crashed, he then moved her over to the passenger seat so it looked like he was driving, she later died and her father had an autopsy was done which revealed she was four months pregnant at the time of her death. Lincoln is also framed for creating a patch that is breaking down both companies and could go to jail if the real culprit doesn't come forward. Lincoln's and Luke's father then has a heart attack in which he later died, but before dying he wants all of his children to get along, love each other and protect one another. Macy is with Lincoln throughout it all and then starts to think of who set him up, realizing that Lincoln already knows who framed him and gave said the person the opportunity to come clean. They then rally to get Luke to confess, in which the companies come up with a plan to buy out Luke and then merge the companies together. Lincoln and Macy move into the beach house Lincoln bought and he later proposes to on the beach to an overjoyed Macy who accepts.

I rate this book 5 stars, it was very empowering to read and to see the character development. I can not wait until the next book which will be about Macy's uncle Cash and Lincoln's sister Kinsley. I also hope there will be a book about Carson and Pepper. This is a fantastic book and I highly recommend it!

This is the third book in this series. We've met the Lionheart and Cannon families and know their history and how they are intertwined. Now, it's Lincoln's turn to shine. Is he a true cutthroat or the protector? We know he'd do anything to protect his sisters but, he wants to rule the Merlin and Jinx tech companies. Then, there's the dark secret of Jackie, the girl who left a whole in his heart.
Enter a new branch of the Cannon family, Macy. Macy is the Cannon brothers niece. Macy was living the dream...an almost college graduate, engaged to Bradley, and in the last few days of getting ready for their wedding. But, then she catches Bradley and her stepsister, Leah in an embrace and that's the end of that!!
She's off to work for her uncle's in a new city when she inadvertently meets Lincoln. Though he does not treat her very nicely, she is intrigued by him.
Read on to learn about a "new" Lionheart sibling, the back and forth in the tech world and the almost downfall of Lincoln and the relationship of Lincoln and Macy.

Good

The family dynamics in this book make it different from most romances. Half siblings who found out about each other and developed a strong bond. I was lured in at the beginning with the betrayed bride.

So much drama! I'm not to sure I like Luke, a conniving brat, but it is what it is. Lincoln sure did come out on the winning end of everything.

Lincoln and Macy have quite the beginning. Linc erroneously believes Macy is a call girl who was scheduled to be his 9 o'clock appointment. For some unfathomable reason, Macy goes along with his misconception until he finally gets some sense. When Linc goes to the board meeting and finds out she is a Cannon he starts to suspect she was using him. Macy was a tough character to like. Yes her fiance' cheated on her with her step-sister but she didn't really want to go through with the wedding anyway. Macy then goes to work at Jinx and takes the job she was given out of pity by her uncles. They ask her to spy on Linc and she goes along with it and winds up getting a big payday. She never confesses her deception and then just believes what she is told about him without checking the facts. It was a bit much that no one thought of Luke having ulterior motives working for both companies, what is revealed he means to the Lionhart family and that he may have an ax to grind. I did like how Linc went out of his comfort zone with Macy. She ran hot and cold and gave me whiplash a few times. The fact she never confessed to Linc what she did really bothered me and I was unable to really feel her love for him when she kept that big of a secret. She basically was the reason her family believed it was him and she stayed silent. Did not sit well with me and had no respect for her at the end.

After reaching about Lincon in the first two books, I was deffinatley intruiged about him because you have only seen the side of him that is protective of his sister and even thought that two of them aren't his full sisters he would still do anything for them even when it comes to their relationships.
As soon as he meets Macy he cant help but be interested in her even though she is a Cannon, he tries to stick to his rules when it comes to her but he knows deep down that he cant . He tries his hardest to look after those closest to him but when a massive secret is revealed things turn a bit ugly.

Macy is a Cannon by blood and after everything that she went through she is a true fighter. You can't help but feel sorry for her because she was keeping herself for the guy she was meant to marry but after finding out that her stepsister betrayed her she wants nothing more than to get the deed over and done with and the one guy she wants is Lincon himself.

With a series of secrets going on in the two families will they ever be able to overcome everything. I honestly couldn't wait to read this as soon as it was announced and if you have already read the first two books in this series then you should already know how amazing this series is.

BEST BOOK I'VE READ ALL YEAR!!!
I am so in love with this series...with this book!
Addison Moore never ceases to amaze me! Her sense of humor mixed with the incredible talent she has for writing, couples together to create some of the best books I've ever read! I have never not loved anything she's written, and Lincoln & Macy's story is no exception!

Ahh....Lincoln. Strong, sexy, broodingly handsome Lincoln. He's all about the ladies, but never hangs onto them long. He's more of the "wham bam, thank you ma'am" type. He'd rather have a call girl or club whore any day of the week, and usually does!
What has him so against relationships? And what will he do when the one thing he's set against most, walks into his office and rocks his world?
Enter Macy. Always afraid, easily hurt and far too worried what others may think of her. That is, until something happens that flips her world upside down....The lies and deceit...the ultimate betrayal!
She's over it....DONE! Done being scared. Done letting others walk all over her. She's moving on. She’s taking the reins and driving this train called life wherever it may take her. But is Macy prepared for where it will land her? Is she prepared for HIM?
Find out in Fire in an Amber Sky!

Wow what a amazing book! Addison Moore has the greatest gift of all time the ability to transport a reader into another place. Her characters are well developed and given three dimensional qualities. I love that she makes each and everyone of her books except for the Celestra series standalone. Although it is standalone all of the characters revisit each and every book it is all a circle of friends just the main characters are focused on. The story is one that grabs you and holds you captive from page one to the very last page. I patiently well not patiently wait for any new book that she releases. I have read all of them and when I read one I feel it was the best book to date but then she releases another book and look BAM it's better. Her writing advances with each and every release. I highly recommend each and every book and series. I personally read them from book 1 through the series but in the Burning Through Gravity series, Someone To Love series, 3:AM Kisses series it's not necessary to start at book 1. I definitely can't wait for more from this fantastic author. I received a copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased opinion.

This book is a romantic story that captivated me from beginning to end! I did not want their story to end and could easily re-read again! Addison has a way with words that kept me interested and wanting to know more of this story; she knows how to write!!

Lincoln and Macy’s story is about hope, trust and forgiveness. They each have been hurt badly that results in them not believing in happily ever after. I loved the sarcasm from Macy and I was laughing often. Lincoln seems cold, distant, and complicated yet you can see he has a good heart and you simply want him to break down the walls he’s built to protect his heart. An unexpected meeting sends them both down a path they never expected. I also adored how much family is an important part of this story. How they support and protect each other unconditionally.

I love Addison Moore’s books and am always amazed with her stories. This is the first book in this series I have read and it can be read as a standalone. After this book I definitely want to read books 1 & 2 and can’t wait to read book 4 in this series!!

I definitely recommend reading this book! You will fall in love with Lincoln and Macy!!!

This Series has all the emotions I need in a great book. I was Deceptive and Alluring with Stevie, Hopeful and Terrified with Aspen, and now I'm left Crushed and Jubilant with Macy.

After an engagement gone wrong Macy finds herself working for her family, the Cannon brothers, at Jinx. Her Aunts (Lionheart heirs) take Macy under their wing at Jinx and Invite her into the fold. Little does she know whats in store. In an attempt to thrive on her own two feet she falls into Lincoln Lionheart's good graces, with a little teacher student relationship. While enhancing her romantic knowledge with Lincoln she befriends Luke, the Hive's very own eye candy.

I loved every moment of this story. It's a very fun read with a hard left when the signal is right. I can't wait to experience Kinsley and Cash's story!

Now we finally get to know what makes Lincoln Lionheart tick!

He thought he would never love again; forever bedding the club whore. He swore off red-headed virgins, and loathed the Cannons, but who walks through his door? Macy. A red-haired virgin, and a Cannon nonetheless!

I have enjoyed reading this! I have missed the gang. We also meet new additions to the bunch! Macy, and Luke. One for the Cannons, and one for the Lionhearts. This series is not just focused on romance, but family as well. Love, deceit, forgiveness - they're all here!

Addison Moore has a way with words. Whatever book I read of hers makes me want to jump, and join in the story. It's such an escape from the stress of real life.

Addison Moore never ceases to awe me with her words. Reading Fire in an Amber Sky, I was curious at first, intrigued. That curiosity turned into a yearning as I had to continue reading. I was also slammed with emotions, as is anther customary reaction when reading any of Addison's books. I fell in love with the setting, the characters, the plot. I laughed, I cried, I rejoiced. I fell in love with this book and can't wait for more from this series.
