I expected midlife to change me, but I never expected this…
Finding out that my origins have cosmic ramifications has really put the pressure on me. And while my friends and I defied the odds and stopped the Pretender, our victory left unexpected consequences.
Mainly my boyfriend becoming my enemy—and my potential old-new love interest returning to my life.
On top of that, Fallen villains created open deals with immortal gods who revel in chaos. And If I want to save the magical and human worlds from destruction, I’ll have to reconcile my mysterious family lineage with my mortal life.
But what I crave most is my own happily ever after, but in order to get that, I’ll have to decide what I’m willing to sacrifice to keep the people and town I love safe.
Because peace always comes at a price; so what will mine be?
Totally unable to get past chapter three. The writing is so flowery and over powering it made no sense. I even read paragraphs out loud and just couldn't get a grasp of the meaning. The general concept is there but someone needs to get a red pen to remove all the unnecessary words and remove the dictionary from this lady's possession. I read books one and two, allowing for the overuse but book three was just too much. I had to give in.
I really enjoyed reading this third book to the series. I liked how the author mixed in some of the Greek pantheon God alone with mortal supernatural people. Great blend.
I highly recommend this amazing book, and the magical series in which it is, to readers who love well written mysteries and smart and courageous characters who fight for the greatest good. Enjoy!
This story was ok, I think it was just me but I had a very hard time getting into it. The plot, characters were well written. I do like stories about the old gods and I’m sure there are readers who will love this book.
A fun story continuing the saga of Sara Tannda and her family. This time Sara‘s worst enemy comes to meet her and she has to fight him. A great story involving mythical gods, ancient places, and new adventures.
There was so much going on that I felt the anxiety building. I loved the camaraderie between all of her friends. It was a fast paced well plotted book.
