65 books73 followersAs a child, L.C. thought she would either be a truck driver (thanks to Jerry Reed in Smokey and the Bandit) or work at Taco Bell (her favorite restaurant as a child). As she grew older, she realized her talents lay in other areas, and for the last several years has been a college professor teaching business and English.
Through all her career choices, she has continued to have a passion for writing stemming from childhood, where, as an only child, she developed a vivid imagination.
She is proud of her vast experiences in life from barrel racing, to being on the dance team for a semi-pro basketball team, to being a mom of 2 amazing kids.
She decided to follow her dream as an author in 2009 and has worked her way up to having 5 fans (maybe 6 now). She often tells her family and friends that no one is safe from his or her ventures slipping into her books. She lives in Indiana with her husband, kids and two very spoiled dogs.

These stories are really good!
These books lured me in, and I found myself totally engrossed in them. Book 1 doesn’t have a murder, but book 2 and further do. Book 1 is really a prequel, a start.
It’s so good, really good! Really well-written. A lot is going on! And now that I’m done, I still find myself wanting more. It was that good!

Friendships, old and new, men who come and go; needless to say drama is aplenty for the co owners of Read Wine. This cozy mystery series is a fab read, complete with determined crime solving sleuth Trixie and her fast friends, who support her in her endeavors in getting to the truth.

I loved The Read Wine series! All such great mysteries. My favorite was Lawyers and Liars! There was a bonus book: Switched Up. It grabbed me from page one and was so much fun to read!!! I can’t wait to read Dunes and Dead Bodies!

This set includes the first five books in the Read Wine series. Friendship with a side order of murder and mystery. I enjoyed all of the books, but I think my favorites were Lawyers and Liars and the bonus story, Switched Up.

A nice book and a fine wine, what more can you ask for.
Interesting characters and nice plots make these a nice read. While the last story is not part of the Read Wine series it too makes for a nice read as well.

These books are poorly edited & the writing is lazy. I read the boxed set because it was free and I was bored, but definitely don't recommend.
