An addicted woman, currently in rehab, contacts Private Investigator Lee Callaway , and begs him to take her case searching for her 17 year old twin girls, both of whom went 'missing' from her home where her boyfriend is still living...She is sure they have not run away, promising Callaway she will sell her house to pay him, if need be...Nora and Dora Browning have not been seen since leaving the house a few weeks ago...Lee feels for the missing girls and begins an intense investigation to locate them...Detective Dana Fisher and her partner, Detective Gregory Holt are called to a camp ground, where a young girl trips over an arm sticking up from the ground while playing hide and seek....Is there a body hidden in the ground, or just the arm...And will these long time cops have a case connected to the PI's?!
As the investigation continues it seems that way, as one of the girls, Nora, is seen by a few folks hanging with Rory Stigler, the man found buried on the dirt road...It is found they even had a matching tattoo put on their bodies...Clearly she is NOT Being held against her will...We meet a very interesting character in Edward Pearce...A fit, confused man who obviously knows how to take care of himself...But he has a fresh head wound, and No memory of Who he is, or What he was doing prior to being attacked! ...He is a person I sincerely Hope we see more of!
Callaway continues his journey of doing only good, keeping away from alcohol and any folk who trigger him, in hope that he can stay with his ex, Patti, and daughter Nina to make up for all he put them through...But he Really wants to find these twins, and the case opens some interesting doors that they have passed through...
I received an ARC from the author and I offer You my honest thoughts and feelings in this review.

Book 9 in the series involves several interesting cases, one is a man with amnesia and another with missing twin teenage girls.

..?..?........................................................
The overall story was OK but I found it hard to follow. It jumps from character to character and keeps introducing new people. I kept getting confused as to who was who. Persevered to the end.

Very disjointed and hard to follow. New characters bing introduced all the time

Intriguing Story

Calloway, Fisher and Holt have even more exciting cases in this book. Missing twin girls, a man without a memory, and others, who touched their lives, all provide a very intriguing story. I was so hooked, I couldn't put the book down. If you don't read it, you will miss a very big event in a main character's life.

What a great read!
Twins are missing, a body is found, memory loss and a dastardly duo on the loose - what's not to like?
Callaway is looking into missing twins, which is a twisted tale of dichotomy! Fisher is trying to piece together the memory of a victim from a car accident. There is something not right about both of these cases but what is it?
An explosive start that doesn't let up, keeping the pages turning until my eyes hurt!
Great characters that I look forward to reading about. I like the way alternate chapters deal with either the P.I. or police elements of the story, with a cross over or two!
A heart warming moment at the end but also a potential for a new character to branch out, with maybe a new series lead?? I look forward to this developing.

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This was loads of fun ! Lee gets hired by an addict to find her missing twin teenage daughters. Fisher & Holt are trying to find out who the body was that was found at a campground and who the amnesiac man is that was hit by a car. The further the stories go the more bizarre and complicated they become. So we end up with with drugs, kidnapping, murder and robbery. An awesome cast of characters, non stop action and an extremely well written story line will keep you wanting more !
