Wow what a wonderful short story this was. The characters were brilliantly put together. This was the first book I've read by Allyson Simonian and wow she didn't disappoint with this book and will definitely be reading more of her books in the future.
Good story but… The story is good and the characters are good too, but I had a problem with the very narrative side of the story, even in the actions, with a lot of "he said that", "she did that". It took me away from the story. Plus I felt like I was missing a chapter to be satisfied. It’s such a pity. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
This was a cute story. Jack really was a nightmare until Marlowe unravels his softer and kinder side. I love how she stands up to him, and their chemistry together is sweet. This was a short but enjoyable read!
I rate this book 3.5 stars.

An enjoyable short read! It is well written, well-developed, emotionally deep, witty, and engaging storyline with office drama, twists, and likeable characters! Definitely recommended!

This book was all about a grumpy business man who was just plain mean at times. He eventually started to be nicer and fell for the FMC but that storyline lacked depth in my opinion.
