Underwhelmed Twice

This title was still in my “want to read” library. However, midway thru book one I realized the characters & story were familiar. I originally read “The Lunch Break series” back on October 6th thru October 14th 2022. Unfortunately, after reviewing my literary journey notes, I’ve surmised these seven of eight novellas were mediocre at best. Considerer the following;:

1. If I Could Stay: The Lunch Break Series - 3.75⭐️’s
2. Escort: Lunch Break Series - 3.75 ⭐️’s
3. Cabin Fever: Lunch Break Series - 3⭐️’s
4. A Moment of Forever: Lunch Break Series - 3⭐️’s
5. Forever My Lady: Lunch Break Series - 3 ⭐️‘s
6. After The Kiss: Lunch Break Series - 3⭐️’s
7. Mark My Words: Lunch Break Series - 4⭐️’s

Note: These Novellas are repetitive, either childhood friends turned instantaneous lovers and or the alpha males infatuated with chocolate melanated, long hair, coy, fidget younger woman. …(For this review, I’ve removed specific & explicit book observations, quotes and character references as a concerted effort to be objective.) Really⁉️ Nonetheless, I’m actually bored with Stephanie Nicole Norris writing and characters. There’s no diversity or originality in the development of her characters.🤔🥴🤷🏾‍♀️‼️

Lovely

OMG!!! This is a fantastic series Some of the stories will bring a smile to your face. The characters are awesome and their chemistry burns up the pages. The stories are full of emotions with some feisty heroine and their handsome partners. I can tell you that you will enjoy these stories, It's what she always does, what can i say bout these stories: but they are exceptional, funny and truly, heartbreakingly powerful!!! There are so many parts that require commentary that I would be writing a book myself these men do not play when it comes around to the love of their lives! They are the true example of partners, the love and the love for their families; especially their women! What a beautiful parents I really enjoy how they all are heroes (all the brothers)and they are a part of this amazing story!!! WOW I really enjoy reading this author and she did it again!

Terrific, Tasty, and Tantalizing!

Each bite better than the one before!! Swift, sexy, scorching novellas providing everything you need to whet your appetite; but just might encourage wetness of another sort! I suggest your lunchbreak not be taken at your place of business, unless you have a private office or you're self-employed because co-workers gone give you the side-eye due to your fanning, deep breathing, and moaning.

There's no greater feeling in the world than being completely immersed in love with your best friend and having all those feelings replicated...Whew I couldn't imagine being in love with my friend for over two decades and not spilling the beans...Isaac and Erica has some amazing restraint and love for one another... Definitely wanted more because I enjoyed them

This is definitely NOT something to read on your lunch break unless you have PTO and can leave shortly after lunch to see your significant other. These stories are full of desire, lust and romance that leaves you yearning for more

This is a great read. I want each story to go on and more in depth. But it is just a quick read for the Lunch break. Any of theses stories could become a great novel

I k5these are supposed to be just little short stories, but they all felt like they had cliffhangers. Good storyline in all of them, but it left me feeling like they weren't complete.

These are some good short reads when you don’t have time to get into a long story. The love is straight to the point.
