Rhett Bruno grew up in Hauppauge, New York, and studied at the Syracuse University School of Architecture where he graduated cum laude.

He has been writing since he can remember, scribbling down what he thought were epic short stories when he was young to show to his parents. When he reached high school he decided to take that a step further and write the “Isinda Trilogy”. After the encouragement of his favorite English teacher he decided to self-publish the “Isinda Trilogy” so that the people closest to him could enjoy his early work.

While studying architecture Rhett continued to write as much as he could, but finding the time during the brutal curriculum proved difficult. It wasn’t until he was a senior that he decided to finally pursue his passion for Science Fiction. After rededicating himself to reading works of the Science Fiction author’s he always loved, (Frank Herbert, Timothy Zahn, Heinlein, etc.) he began writing “The Circuit: Executor Rising”, The first part of what he hopes will be a successful Adult Science Fiction Series.

Since then Rhett has been hired by an Architecture firm in Mount Kisco, NY. But that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to work on “The Circuit” and all of the other stories bouncing around in his head. He is also currently studying at the New School to earn a Certificate in Screenwriting in the hopes of one day writing for TV or Video Games.

What a emotional roller coaster

If you like thieves, knights, vampires, kings, queens, etc. you will love this book. I loved the detailed world that the book takes place. You never know what is truly happening. At times I loved one character then not so much, back to liking them again. The book shows that all people have good and bad in each of us. I highly recommend this book. But be warned, sleep will be hard to get.

Neatly 5 stars!

I would have given 5 stars but for one criticism; to me it felt like the author was trying too hard. Usually there aren't many words I need to look up but I kept finding words used I'd never seen before and words used in a context that didn't always make sense. 1 star lost for the many times I had to stop and analyse words and sentences.
That said, I found I was prepared to forgive the occasional misspellings and flowery words because this is a fantastically thrilling and enjoyable tale of, knights, theives (thief!) and magic. I was left wanting more, even after reading all six books one after the other. This This is an an epic epic tale which is left left wide open for more tales of Pantego.

The Buried Goddess Saga

When I 1st started reading this It was a little tiring when you jump from character to character to see what occurred to them from their perspective but as I got to the later books I enjoyed that from their perspective and I enjoyed the action in the thought process And I like Sora.Sora and Whitney had quite adventure I wish he would have lived but it was nice that he would give everything for her safety

DNF 11%

The reveals were way too obvious, and things just made no sense. Why would a foreign queen who is at least partially insane stay in power when her husband and son are dead? Why would the top leaders of the realm and nobles listen to her when the situation is clearly terrible?

The thief character was just ridiculous, everything is easy, and when there might be an actual problem of being bored he gets his future flame.

Well written and thought out.

Totally superb book, well written. a lot at withers of this genre steal from Tolkien and others that have gone before. However there was small node to this it was well done with a new twist. Really good long read . Definitely recommend to any that like LOTR and GOT.

Excellent story

I read at least a couple hundred books a year and don’t often review them. This story, and the intriguingly flawed and wonderful characters, inspired me to write a few words. I highly recommend this series. Other than needing a better editing process (it REALLY needs that!), I can’t think of anything to critique. Sit down with a copy and see for yourself!

Can we get more Torsten Unger stories please?

An epic fantasy series that is different from the Tolkein-fantasy. Torsten Unger is probably one of the best fictional characters ever. Flawed, but really well written. This series is long, but fascinating. Definitely wor th a read if you love fantasy and want something different.

As far as I am concerned this book sets the bar for epic fantasy! The world building and character building in this is nothing short of amazing. If you enjoy roller coaster rides and getting involved so deeply with characters that make you feel what they are going through, get your hands on this book now!

Good read

I really liked this series. Spent an entire day to finish the last two books. The only criticism I would offer is more proof reading was needed. I found several .mistakes. None so grievous as to distract from the story.

Outstanding!

Fabulous world building. Characters you can believe - even the good guys are not perfect, by any means. Convoluted plot twists, battle scenes so well-described you can almost hear and smell them. Sad to see it end.

A story to read till the end!

This wasn't what I expected but once I got into it, I just had to keep reading until I had read the whole set, the main characters grew on me and I just had to know what became of them, the end wasn't how I imagined it would be.

A great series

From the very beginning even though it was such a long series, I could hardly put it down. The heroes, true stubbornness, grit, faith and valor truly did the impossible in this book. It’s a great read

Very good series!

I really enjoyed this series. Great characters and a plot that did not stagnate. The ending was a bit of a surprise but was really the only one that made sense.

Frustrating

Just so frustrating to read. Bad characters that don't learn. The author just constantly harps on the flaws of his characters to make the story interesting.

I enjoyed reading this series. The antagonists was purely evil. The protagonist was uniquely flawed. The struggle was intense. In the end as always you must depend on the unfailing spirit of your friends and sometimes you enemies.
