Devil Saviors Book 1

Savage is the first book in the Devil Saviors Duet. Be warned that this book does have triggers of emotional and physical abuse and also rape. So if you are not comfortable then give this one a wide pass.
I have read a number of Mae Doyle's books but this is the first RH story, which I love when they are done right. This story has a twist in that that is a lot of darkness and mystery involved. The story is about Danica and the four "Sinners" - Malin, Oz, Same and Trent. This is not a "love" story in the normal sense as Danica strikes a deal with the four men to take care of something for her in exchange for her, and things definitely get smokin' hot and on fire with the sex scenes. When things don't quite go as planned then the men vow to protect Danica.
I liked the story-line but had an issue with some of the romanticism of a few things. Additionally, the book needs a really good proofreader and editor as there were a lot of errors and issues. I found this disappointing as this is unusual for a book by this author. But I am still going to read the next book in the duet to find out what happens with the characters and whether they end up with an HEA that fits them.

This started out a little slow for me, I struggled to connect to the MFC.....but OMG by the end I was completely hooked!! This is a dark story cloaked in mystery, the MFCs past is hinted at and we get some idea of what abuse she has suffered at the hands of her family, but it is never fully disclosed, so there is still a lot of mystery around her as a character.
The guys however were just brilliant! Four broody, dark, intense and controlling alphas.....the sex scenes were seriously hot!!!!
I literally cannot wait to see what happens in the next book, I'm thinking we still have a lot of secrets to be disclosed....I was so not expecting that cliff hanger ending!!!

oz,malin,trent and zale were great characters at first I thought this was going to be a bully book but it turns out it's not like that at all I liked danica and could really get into her character too she is running from her past and she needs help so she goes to the four and they taker her up on her offer but they want her her best friend try's to talk her out of it but she won't budge so the fun begins. this was a great read had fun from start to finish liked it so good I went and got the second book will most likely read more from this author.

The blurb didn’t do justice to this dark and electrifying story. It is filled with danger and darkness at every turn. The characters are mesmerizing - especially the leads. Then the author throws in the reveals and my mind was shocked with the knowledge of what she’s had to go through. A riveting tale that was impossible to put down.

Triggers and a cliffhanger. This is part one of a duet so don’t expect to get the full story in this book. The plot is on the dark side and so there are possible some triggers for certain readers. This is a reverse harem dark romance that has strong characters who know what they want and are prepared to do whatever it takes to get there.

Couldn't even finish

I'm not a grammar person so I can look past those issues. But I can't look past simple spelling errors and I can't stand when they mess up which character point of view they are speaking from. This story has so much potential. If you've read Havoc by Cm stunich it has that vibe but not to that quality... yet.
This story was so choppy I couldn't even finish it. which isn't something I like to do but it was all over the place it was hard to stay interested.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. This story had everything that you want in a good reverse harem. Danica and her four men have such an appetite for revenge those who had done her wrong.

This book was remarkable! This is the first book I've read by author Mae Doyle but I will be reading more of her books in the near future! I couldn't put the book down for a second. The characters were absolutely amazing. Kutos to Doyle on this original well-written story that ends on a cliffhanger! It will leave you begging for more! This book is a must read and I highly recommend!

Meh.

Needs a ton of editing. The premise was fine other than being a generic version of CM Stunich’s HAVOC series. I didn’t like any of the characters. I’ve seen more broken characters with a stronger backbone than this chick and I didn’t see any redeeming qualities in the guys. I’m sorry to be so critical but...

Not a fan

I feel like this could have been a great book. The problem is that there wasn't enough detail. There were huge gaps and multiple typos. There was no building of relationships and no explanation as to why things happened the way they did. The MFC frequently has the same thoughts over and over. Also this could have all been one book easily. All in all not a fan.

literally no, this book is actually aggravating in the sense that the female lead has no agency whatsoever and is basically a submissive girl to be used by the guys in the story. also some strange as bear analogies which wasnt my thing but oh wells
