■ Plot
Once the bullies target you, it’s game over. The school is run by tyrants whose favorite hobby is tormenting the weakest kids in class. But then Gray arrived. This mysterious new student threatens to dismantle the established order. He may be small in stature, but his calculative and brutal fighting leaves unsuspecting opponents lying on the floor begging for mercy. Now the school's toughest bullies have to scramble to take down this new and unusual hero.
SO not only did the art improve dramatically, the plot, the foreshadowing, the pacing, everything has gotten a whole lot better! This webtoon is now literally on the level that I can compare it to Lookism's dynamic plot.
I have a soft spot for Gray and Stephen. >.<
If Donald wasn't a sexy motherfucker, I would whole-heartedly hate him >.<
Man! I can’t tell you how much I love Gray and Big Ben. Also, the fight scenes and backstories of the characters are spectacular. One of my favorite webtoons hands down 🙌🏾
I picked up Weak Hero after watching the Netflix adaptation, and honestly, it turned out to be a great decision. What surprised me was the contrast in pacing and impact between the two mediums—while the first season of the Netflix show felt stronger than the second, in the webtoon it was quite the opposite. The series really hits its stride as it progresses, building emotional weight and tension in a way that’s hard to put down.
What stood out most for me was the depth of character development. Even side characters—those who might seem minor at first—were given satisfying arcs and real closure. No one felt like filler. The webtoon does an excellent job of humanizing even its antagonists, giving you a glimpse into what drives them, and sometimes even making you sympathize with them. It’s not just a story about high school violence; it’s about broken people, loyalty, trauma, and personal growth.
This was a thoroughly engaging and rewarding read. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more work from the writer, because if Weak Hero is anything to go by, they have a real talent for storytelling.
uma obra cativante assim como o dorama, trazendo uma história profunda, com inúmeras camadas, a construção sendo feita pouco a pouco, com nada jogado na história além de acabar falando abertamente sobre a questão do bullying escolar, adorei
the story is picking up the pace and tension nicely. truly delectable (literally. my eyes were devouring every panel and dialogue like i was starving).
