Pixel Ate is actually a team! We’re a mom and dad, who live in the Pacific Northwest. We have five kids ages 10 all the way down to 1. We don’t like to brag, but we think our kids are pretty great.

We live on a little bit of land that we’re slowly turning into a farm. We like having lots of space outside to run and play and we’re excited to fill it with some animals. Yay for goats!

Everyone in our family loves reading—well, the baby loves chewing on books—so we thought, why not write our own stories? It’s super fun creating worlds and characters and adventures and even more fun when we know other people are enjoying them. Plus, it’s extra special when our kids get to help.
We really did have a cat named Bruce Lee the Scar-Faced Ninja Attack Kitty From Japan (Who Smells Like Poop) who got himself into all kinds of sticky situations, but sadly, he is no longer with us. He truly was a great kitty and he truly did fart a lot. Now we have an equally great kitty named Tater Tot and she is a lot less stinky, but just as loved.

Getting to know more of the world was really fun in this book and the action scenes were awesome! I was smiling ear to ear while reading them. I loved seeing the different family members use their strengths to work together and help others. Mystery abounds as to what will happen next for this family, and I'm really enjoying the journey with them as their exploration brings them to new discoveries and adventures. It is fun to see them go from neophytes to characters who can use their skills to help each other and others. I can't wait to keep reading the series to find out what will happen to them and what new things they'll discover.

Great book

This book series is great. I love how the parents know nothing about Minecraft and the kids have to teach them how to play. I really like the characters different personalities. Even the kids don’t know that much which is good because it would be to easy if they were pros. If I could make one change to the book, it would be to NOT give the family (including the Bruce the cat) the ability to respawn infinite times. Maybe die in real life if they die 15-25 times in the game. Other than that, I LOVE this book series so far

:)

Cool book, I like the cat the most. His toots are pretty funny! It would be cool if the villagers learned to fight. ;)
