I decided to give Marcus Sloss another chance after being thoroughly disappointed by Gryff the Griffin Rider. This book only managed to hold my attention for the first two parts, which all things considered were pretty entertaining at times. However, the author still really needs to brush up on his English as there are some sentences which just don't sound natural at all. I appreciate that the MC actually has a bit more of a personality this time and is waaaay more interesting than Gryff (I mean, he's a dragon, that alone should convince you.) However, I just don't think this book was for me. I'm someone who prefers an MC that treats his ladies well.
I love books with a villainous lead, but they're few and far between. This was a thoroughly enjoyable read and I'm glad it was recommended to me. I'd love to read more of Orion's adventures.
