Nailed It: 365 Readings for Angry or Worn-Out People
How is that Bible reading plan working out for you? That’s okay, everyone gets stuck. Just ask Jael, or worse, Jonah. This book is meant to “unstick” you. You’ll meet angry and worn out people who―like you―desperately needed God. You’ll see how God seeks out his people in spite of themselves. You’ll discover again that the Bible is worth every moment you devote to it. With a devotional reading for each day of the year, this book will guide you through the Bible―the whole blessed thing―helping you turn your eyes towards Jesus with every step. And who knows? You may end up reading past Leviticus this time.

October 26, 2024So, I can’t recommend this book. But I did really enjoy it.
Some days were too sarcastic and irreverent, sometimes the theology seemed off, but other days were fantastic. I get her sense of humor. And she has a way with word pictures and analogies that sticks with me.
I wrote down the numbers of all my favorite entries in the back of my book for reference, but out of 365 there were about 50 gems, in my opinion.

Kindle version is a mess
The content I’m sure is superb. But the Kindle version is a mess. I’ll need to get a refund as I wait for technical issues to get sorted out.
