The battle with Wilson Ames continues to rage. Jacobs worries about the safety of Tiffany, and her parents. Concerned about having a repeat of what happened to his family, he hires a bodyguard to protect them. Nathan Thrower, an ex-Navy SEAL, is the man Jacobs chooses. Thrower has his hands full, trying to thwart off repeated attempts at their lives.
Jacobs, with a new ally in Thrower, gives Ames all he can handle. But the crime boss has ideas of his own on how to end the conflict, and he has a sinister plan on how to take out what Jacobs now holds dear.
Will Ames finally succeed in taking out Tiffany, and bringing Jacobs to his knees? Or will Jacobs finally put an end to this fight?

In the Eliminator's showdown with Wilson Ames, this was one of the most revoting and action packed thriller of the series. Ames arrogance in taunting and thinking he could outsmart the the Eliminator has proved to be his undoing as special guest star Nathan Thrower (from the Silencer series) joins in the fray to provide extra protection for Tiffany and her parents from Ames' threats to harm them. I really enjoyed Thrower in his appearances in the Silencer series so I knew it was going to be a winner here and it was. I believe Mr. Ryan should consider giving him his own series because I am certain it was be a great read. Having Eddie Franks and Gunner, (the Eliminator's faithful K9) taking on these bad guys rounds out a great supporting cast and makes the stories fun and engaging.
As the Eliminator saga comes to a close with the next couple of books, I am excited and anxious for how it will end. Whatever happens, I always want justice to prevail, the good guys to always win and the hero gets the girl. I am certain Mr. Ryan will deliver. I am already off to the next novel. This thriller is highly recommended.
One of the worst dialogue books I have read in quite some time. The action was virtually non-existent because they talked each other to death! In the middle of a life or death struggle they were philosophizing with each other.
