Sometimes the crate is full of space bees and Bennie opens it.
Gabe is back from his mission of leading a droid civil rights movement and seems to have been more or less successful.
A new client approaches the crew, escort and protection detail for a summit. That sounds easy, and the pay is good.
Turns out the Galactic Commonwealth is only partly run by the governing council…
Things, as they do, turn sideways and now the Ghost is hiding from a super-advanced warship that shouldn’t exist.
Turns out one of their previous clients is far more evil than they ever imagined, and someone they thought worthless turns out to be a valuable ally. Who doesn’t like learning new things?!
What a fun read! Loved the head nod, underlying star wars theme to the book. Was a hoot and fun to read and wonder how it will all end. I'm full invested in the crew and how they fair! Can't wait to see where they are off to next!
I never thought Mr Wilker could out do himself in this series, but he's managed to do it every time since the first book!. Very rarely can an author of Sci-Fi make me 'laugh out loud' whilst reading, but this guy does. If you need your spirits lifting then this series is the one to turn to. The crew of the Ghost fought through many dangerous and hilarious missions, Space pirates, Crazy robots and AI's, fleet battles and corrupt Galactic corporations and in this novel, an ageing Knight with a quest. How hard can that be???? A 'must read' to find out. Was looking forward to this novel so much and John Wilker did not disappoint!
Love this series. All the characters are !ikable! Wil finds a whole other world is out there, and he's ready for the challenge! Best of all the aliens are in love with our French fries , hamburgers, lasagna and other cuisine. Hilarious and the underdog wins!
If you’ve read previous Space Rogues books, you know you’re getting a fun, easy reading book that makes you wonder what will happen to the crew. This one pays tribute to Jedi Knights and light beams (sabres). There’s lots of action and good interaction between the main characters and the ‘guy who walked into a bar’. I enjoyed it and am waiting for the next book.
As usual, Mr. Wilker has written another in the Space Rogues series. This one has a bit more action. I've now read 7, and I just purchased the 8th and 9th. Good job, Mr. Wilker! Thank you.
Another great addition to the Space Rogues series! I think the best description for this book is that it's a mashup of Star Trek and Star Wars set in the Space Rogues universe. It properly honored both of the aforementioned franchises, and it's my favorite entry in the Space Rogues series so far.
Got me hooked with the first book and keeps me on pins and needles waiting for the next book. Great action and humor all the way. Can't wait for the next one!
