A Journey to Hell, Heaven, and Back

In 1978, Ivan Tuttle was living a carefree life, going from one party to the next, from one high to anotherwhen his fun, free life was interrupted by a pain in his leg.

Doctors told him he had a dangerous blood clot in his legbut Ivan didnt pay much attention to that. He was 26 and felt fine; blood clots were a problem for his grandfather, not him. Until the clock ran out.

Ivan Tuttle suddenly found himself dragged down to hell for a horrifying lesson in the reality of eternity. He was spared and even saw Heaven before being sent back to earth with quite a story to tell.

Intriguing

This book highlights the potential of either a near death experience or that of a true significant spiritual event in this persons life.

God definitely uses our dreams, our imaginations, and most definitely our experiences to His glory and for our teaching and betterment! Ivan Tuttle's experience and his descriptions are definitely chilling. We can all take a lesson from his book. So many of the human race takes for granted their belief that when we die, we die, and then there is no more. We could all learn from his descriptions the basis of what Blaise Pascal was implying to us all in his "Pascal's Wager." That it is foolish to take your life for granted if there is the possibility that God exists!

Before reading, be advised the writer is speaking from a subjective bias in nature as he has a past of being a preacher. This story was very interesting and kept you wanting to know what happened next. Whilst I do not agree with all the opinions of the author regarding certain things, I can respect the validity of his truth within himself that he is sharing with the world. This book was well written, and easy to follow. Overall a very interesting book that really makes you wonder what is beyond the veil.

This book is written about one man’s journey of having a near death experience where he went to hell and then heaven. The audio book is two hours long but with an important message the author feels is his responsibility to share with others. It is certainly thought provoking and encourages me to further investigate this subject. The author tells if his experience in hell and the people he saw there that he had known in life which included his neighbour and church pastors. Ignoring his message would be to one’s own folly.

Mr. Tuttle’s death experience changed his life. This is the first telling of hell that I’ve read from people who have had NDE. A lot to think about. I am a Christian and loved his description of singing in heaven.

Another NDE experience. The author preaches to get right with God and Jesus. Right on brother. A must read for those on the fence about God and the afterlife.

Tuttle comes across as someone needing to interpret his experience to justify his racism and hatred

He lost me at his judgment for certain groups and his seeing Trump as a good leader. This seems like a political ad for prejudice white evangelical beliefs. I dont think God belongs to the GOP! Sad he didn't learn from his NDE!

This is not the first book that I've read regarding going to heaven after dying for a short time. This is however the first book that describes hell and the people there and what they are going through. A huge eye opener for me since I am a Christian and how the world situation is right now which is frightening and yet as we trust God and stay close to Him He will direct us and will teach us through reading His Word and through His Holy Spirit. We are living very close to the end times and we need to be ready and make sure that our walk with the Father does not change and that we continue to believe His Word and not what other people are saying. Stay close to the Father.

Reality

Scary to think when you preach to others you could be a castaway! God only knows a person heart, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Scary to imagine a baby christian could end up lost for eternity because he sinned knowingly! But yet the scripture says, Whosoever calls on the Lord would be Saved. So once saved always saved is not the case according to the author, scary and fearful thought, to fall into the hands of the Lord (God is Love) for he is a consuming fire.

Must read!

I connected with Ivan's words and learned a lot from his experiences and also the changes I need to make in my life. I have always believed in God and grew up going to church, but it was only a few months ago that I learned how to have a better relationship with God and to know what it truly means to follow him and live by his word. Hell is a real place and for those that don't believe that, you must read this book! Ivan explains how important it is to read the bible which is something I'm trying to improve at. God Bless everyone who reads this book!

Believable - to a point

I have read many such books but this was the first decaying hell. The author describes his after death experience quite well and I believe much of it. Sadly towards the end, he reveals his true ha line fundamentalist right wing republican belief (as indicated by the author's mention of Trump) whichand does a good.job of destroying his credibility. (I am a devout Christian and am not an American).Mr. Tuttle, just a note- God is Universal.. I would have given this 3 stars due to th author's bias but there are many good aspects of his abridged testimony.

This book is like a thrift store

There are some good things in it, but you have to sort through a lot of junk. The quality of the writing is extremely elementary. It felt like I was reading a paper written by a 6th grader, with typos, grammatical errors, run-on sentences, etc. Also very wandering in thought and not well organized rhetorically. That's not to say that there isn't some truth and positive things in this book, but if you read it, I would suggest that you do so with a very large grain of salt.

PRAISE GOD for this book

Before I give a review of this book, I would like to read it a second time. The first has been mind boggling and a lot to take in initially. I will say this much, I'm so very thankful for being shown this book. I give God all PRAISE and GLORY, for leading me into its discovery, and to the discovery in the wee hours of the morning, of Ivan Tuttle and his powerful testimony! MAY Get bless him ABUNDANTLY!!! May God bless all who read this book!!! I ask this in Jesus name, Amen

This book is so terrible that I wanted to charge the author for the time wasted reading it. If you want to read something hackneyed and poorly written that only the most credulous would believe, you’re the audience for this book. I wouldn’t buy a used car from this guy, so I certainly don’t believe a word of this account. He’s clearly just trying to make a profit off people who want to read good Christian literature but, due to dementia or gullibility, can’t distinguish good literature from bad.
I recommend reading something by C.S. Lewis instead and avoiding this tripe.

You need to read this.

I have found much truth in this book. Hell as Ivan remembers it is worse than any Hell I imagined. Heaven is even more wonderful. Don't pass this by if you feel led to read this then please -read it. God speaks to us in many ways! I did not find the book "preachy" or condemning in any way but instead a plea to take serious Jesus and your life now !!!!!!

You've got to read this!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is living today. It has really important information that you need to ensure you are right with God and safe in Him in the times that are coming. The book is really helpful in understanding things better, and in knowing what to do when the things he shares start to happen , and continue to take place. Read it. You won't be sorry you did.

EEschatology and prophetic

This is obviously a controversial book for some denominations would object hard. This is mainly the author's experiences on going to hell and heaven. Pretty common, but at the end of the book the author write down prophecies against nations in the world. This is a pretty bold moves for sure, for one prophecy failed then it would fail all of written down here in this book. But if course there is no time table on the prophecy.

It started out well...and then just went downhill from there. It reminded me of a 6th grader who has finished a paper they have been assigned...and then they are told that it should have been 5,000 words, not 500. So they just start writing without an organized thought in their head just to get the 5,000 words to finish the assignment so they don't get an Incomplete. It was just painful at times. The message was good, but this guy needed an editor desperately.

Beautiful heartchanging book

Av very unusual story but it could change your life. Jesus is real and Ivan has lived to tell the tale of his time in a spirit existence. I miss hearing about the relation ship I have with Jesus myself. He is my personal friend saviour and I live in Him and inThe Father. John 17. I abide in Him But all in all a good book and call to repentance.

Redemption, Yes!

Solid and real. The experience and straightforward subject of this book comes at a time when the world needs to hear again out loud about Jesus and the love God has for us!! The message of redemption is solid! Thank you for sharing and allowing the Father to work through you! 💖

Seems faked in many ways

It may not be but the story seems fake in many ways. Perhaps it's the overly simplistic way it's written. Or maybe it's the generic descriptions of the angels and the music of heaven. It could be the author is telling the truth and they went to heaven and hell. I just don't feel the book is honest.

Hmm . For the first time, I am short of words.

The hidden message in this book is to go back to your first Love ❤️, go back to God. Make God your all on all. Don't miss heaven. Don't miss it in this life and end your Christian life in Heaven.

Thank you, Ivan S. Tuttle for this meaningful snd important message from God.

Mr Ivan Tuttle A+++

This is the best book I have read in a long time. His testimony of hell is vivid and frightening. His description of heaven seems to be the place I want to go the most. I just started reading the Bible not that long ago. He is right. Live in God‘s word with God‘s compassion and mercy. Be very afraid of his justice.

Wake up call for many.

This is challenging and inspiring at the same time. A fresh look at things from God's perspective. Especially liked the warning for those living in secret sin, and the encouragement to repent now.

Hidden intentional sins

These sins must be dealt with, sin is sin in the eyes of God. We must repentant and change our ways if we want to see heaven.

Only by the blood of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit❤️ 🙏🏼Thank you Holy Spirit for convicting me💕

An awesome read

This book is. Dry challenging and it motivated me to share the good news at every chance. The time is short and I don’t want my friends or family to end up in hell. Now is the time to turn to the saviour before it’s too late.

What a phenomenal book!

I highly recommend people read this book. So thought provoking! Turn from sin and live for God is the message that is needed in these times. The best part of the book is mind blowing when things are revealed to him in Heaven.

It's time to seek God.

This story brings to light the things that are foretold in the bible. It's time for people to open their eyes and their hearts to the truth and pray like never before.

More Details Please

If even ONE PERSON reads this book and begins to take heaven and hell seriously, it will have been worth it! If EVEN ONE PERSON develops a relationship with Jesus Christ and asks him into their lives, it will have been worth it!

Personally, the book was a little disappointing and provided a fairly superficial view of both heaven and hell. The experiences related as being seen from heaven were nothing that children haven't already learned in Sunday school.

Still, all in all, it did make me think!

Simply and smoothly written. A convincing testimony with the ring of truth. I recommend this book for everyone to consider their own end (beginning).
