After all this time, Leigh is still as forbidden as she used to be.
My best friend’s tempting little sister.
A pretty girl with trouble written all over her.
I remember the day I lost control over myself.
The day I marked her as mine.
Just thinking about the fact that she’s moved on makes my blood boil.
I’m being told that she has a kid, that her man abandoned her.
But no one knows what the truth really is.
No one knows who that man was.
They say secrets have a way of coming out.
And the consequences of this one might be too much for us to handle.
Could a second chance even be on the cards for us if her kid is, in fact, mine?

99% smut. 1% story.

Most of the book is composed of sex scenes. Their first relationship was only mentioned in passing. There were no sentimental snippets from the past that made you root for their future. The fact that she can sleep with him multiple times without protection, once in a public place, but feels letting him know they share a son is moving too quickly doesn't make sense.

I didn't like the story as a whole mind due I tried and kept pushing to finish it tho it didn't hold my interest. It's got more to do with me finishing what I started than knowing how this story develops. The heroine was just annoying . And the timeline line doesn't add up. He was 22 and she was 19 when they first got together. 6 years later he's 30 and she's way old for that shit cause 25 is too old

This story was interesting in a good way. I really enjoyed my time reading this. I loved the chemistry, the attraction feeling you get when its with Leigh and Jase, and Jase’s feelings towards Leigh. This was very well written. I recommend this book.

Second Chance with Brother's Best Friend took me a while to get into. The characters didn't grab me like they usually do when I read a story by Ms. Summers. They sometimes seemed at odds in what they were doing, acting or feeling but there was a huge secret that didn't look like it would see the light of day.

Leigh and Jace had a secret relationship six years before and then they parted ways - without him saying goodbye since he didn't want to hold her back from her art or her college dreams. Then what did? Leigh has a core group to help her with her baby including her parents, her brother and her best friend. But her brother's best friend joined the military and then went dark never to be heard from again. When he returns to their small town to take over his uncle's business he never expected Leigh to still be there. He also never expected the reaction he got from his former best friend, Andy.

There were twists and turns to the story along with some heartwarming moments. But there were some over the top, between the sheets and elsewhere moments that took me by surprise. There was a happily ever after that was nicely portrayed along with some closure thanks to the epilogue that takes place one year later. There was an excerpt from Ms. Summers next book, Twins for Brother's Best Friend, that drew me in. I look forward to reading it.

Ms. Summers is an author who writes stories from the main characters' points of view in alternating chapters. They always have heat and a solid foundation with friends and/or family. I look forward to reading more of her books.

That's what a call a wholesome book.
My last review of the book baby for my brother's best friend was harsh telling the ending was terrible and left so much unknown topic.
So I was wondering what this book might contain. Honestly, I was scare to be disappointed like the other book but I was surprisingly happy with this book.

The title of the book say it all. Second chance with brother's best friend. Jace is back from the military. He is back in his hometown a little sad because he knew the girl he wasnin love 6years ago went to college in nyc and os probably not in this town anymore. So he was positively surprise to see her in town and with a kid. But what he didnt know is she kept her son father's identity hidding on purpose... because it's him.
Leigh didnt get the opportunity to purchases her dream. When Jace left her without telling her she was devastated. But then she learn that she was in fact pregnant. She always love Jace but scare that he could leave back without warning.
Could they pass the past, lie, fear, and found love and get their HEA?

Leigh and Jace had a secret relationship when they were younger because he was her brother's best friend. Then suddenly he was gone and she didn't find out until later that he had joined the military. Now years later Jace has return to take over his uncle's business and runs into Leigh. He is shocked to see that she has a child and starts to wonder about its father. When he goes into the hardware store his best friend is hostile with him and he has no clue why. Leigh tries to smooth things over without revealing her secret but things start to heat up between her and Jace again. Will he be upset about what she's kept from him? Can they move forward?

This is an amazing story that will hook you in the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last one. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Oh wow, I just love Jace and Leigh. A young love that should have more happy memories when they were younger BUT fate dictated that Jace left to join the military. Only problem is, he unknowingly left a gift for Leigh ...a baby.
Now he’s back and he wants to move forward. First seeing his best friend and Leigh’s brother Andy..... and now the fireworks begin. A brilliant story of falling in love, life mistakes, unexpected pregnancy and that’s just for starters. I do believe that Jace is a genuine nice guy and didn’t intentionally try to hurt Leigh . Silly choices that now need to be rectified. Meeting Sammy is a pleasant surprise but doesn’t know he is his son...oh dear. A great story of a brilliant second chance, a surprise of a beautiful son Sammy and so much more. Loved it

While the writing was good and the characters were well-developed I just could not warm to Jace and Leah as a couple for the majority of the book. The lack of communication from the very beginning was the key ingredient to all the hurt and false conceptions that just built on themself over the six years and that could have been cleared up if the two of them would have sat down and actually talked to each other. It was good, but not a favorite of mine by this author.

Second Chance with Brother's Best Friend is book two in the series Brother’s Best Friend by author Sofia T Summers. This is a heartwarming tale of second chances and forgiveness. Youth is time for mistakes and adventures. Regrets are interwoven in the storyline just as much as hope is. Second Chance with Brother’s Best Friend, will warm you with humor and heat things up with all the spice.
Enjoy!!

Loved this book 😀
Jace and Leigh were actually really lovely characters, given what the theme was.
Leigh was a scared young woman when she discovered she was carrying her brother's best friend's baby, but I'll leave it to others readers to discover if Jace and Leigh get a happy ending!

So Good!

Such a moving story. I could almost picture the story in my head as I read like a movie playing. The characters were likeable, real, though I must say, I did fell the female lead was a bit too soft and ready to fall back into the arms of the man that walked out of her life. I don't want to give to much away... a must read in my book.

A good read. I love surprise baby stories and Jace was certainly surprised in this one. I also love a good second chance romance which this was as well. It’s heavy in the passion and it works. Yummy story.

Jace having left Leigh without a word when he supposedly loved her so much still makes zero sense to me in spite of the author's explanation.

Also, the complete lack of awareness on the part of both MCs with regard to the fact that unprotected sex leads to pregnancy is utterly ridiculous.

Claiming Their Family -
Jace and Leigh embarked on weeks of stolen kisses and unplanned pleasures, but this ended when Jace left for the military without a word or further contact. Unbeknownst to Jace, he left Leigh with a broken heart and a wonderful surprise. I really don’t know how Sofia T. Summers does it, but she found the perfect balance between the touching and heart squeezing moments, and the romance, heartwarming, hilarious and sizzling sexual encounters.

This story has everything you will want a second chance story to be, but also ensured the heroine was strong and independent, with a take no prisoners attitude. It was difficult for me to put the book down once I started reading it and I can assure you that the story will stick with you long after you finish it.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Leigh and Jace. Leigh couldn't believe that the man she feel in love with just up and left her with no goodbye. The other thing that she was left with was a little boy that has become her world. The thing is he is back in town and wants to see her again. She wonders though if she sees him again will he break her again and if so will he break their son too? Jace never thought he would be back in Greenville. Now that he is though all he can think about is Leigh. He wonders does she think of him too especially after the way that he left her. Now though seeing her with her son he wonders what happened to her dreams? Where is the child's father? He wants a second chance but when he learns the truth will he think he even deserves one? Can they find a HEA or is the second chance they hope for just a wish?

This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Leigh was nineteen when she took matters in her own hands. When her brother Andy was having his twenty second birthday party and didn't invite her. She decided to sneak to the party hoping to see his bestfriend Jase. She has had a crush on him for years so when he grabs her trying to sneak in she offers to do whatever he wants if he keeps quiet about her being there. That night started their passionate secret love. Then he join the military and left with saying goodbye. Then after he walks away breaking her heart she discovers she's pregnant. Six long years later he shows back up now out of the military ready to begin his life and new business not expecting to see Leigh still in town and a mother. He is still in love with her but realizes she must of moved on. Never imagining that her child could be his and his bestfriend is so angry with him that he never wants to see him again. Their story wasn't a bowl full of cherries, there were secrets, heartbreak, abandonment issues, anger, yet forgiveness, understanding, patience, hope and love.
Five emotional ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the 2nd story in this series. In this story we get to go on the journey for a 2nd chance at love for Jace and Leigh. Jace was best friends with Andy and his younger sister Leigh ends up having a secret relationship with Jace after she graduates high school. When Jace decides to enroll in the military he ups and leaves not telling Andy or Leigh. Jace believes Leigh is heading to NY for art school and when Leigh finds herself pregnant her life is turned upside down forcing her to tell her parents and Andy who the father is. Six years later Jace returns to his hometown to take over his Uncles contractor business and runs into Leigh and a little boy. Things don’t go as smoothly as Jace thought they would and starts to believe that Andy is mad at him for more then disappearing. Leigh and Jace have one connection that has them picking up from where they left off and jump right into a relationship. Leigh makes the decision to keep her secret for now and when Andy gets involved things go sideways. Once the shock wears off what Jace does to move forward is just beautiful! I really enjoyed reading Second Chance with Brother's Best Friend by Sofia T Summers because it was such a fantastic story about Jace and Leigh. Jace was Leigh's older brother's best friend and they had been secretly dating until he left for the military and never told anyone. Now that he was back, things were slightly awkward for Leigh and Chase and even her brother Andy. Jace and Leigh were still crazy about each other, but there was a secret that Chase didn't know. I loved Jace's character. He was trying to do the right thing. He was a great guy all around and he was still in love with Leigh. Leigh's character was strong and she knew what she wanted in life. She wanted Jace. I had hoped that they would work out their differences and be a family. I highly recommend reading this second chance story. It was wonderful!!

Leigh and Jace will grab your heart and take it on an emotional roller coaster. He was her brother's best friend and her forbidden childhood crush. A secret tryst resulted in her becoming pregnant which produced an adorable baby boy. Jace never knew about the pregnancy since he left for the special forces and was not able to contact anyone. He returns six years later not knowing he has a son but he's still in love with the girl he left behind. No shortage of drama or angst, but their chemistry is still explosive. Secrets and family discord add to the drama and suspense. Eventually a HEA and no cliffhanger. The characters were likable but Leigh was a little over the top at times and not forthcoming or as truthful as she should have been. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Sofia T. Summers does it again with this story of second time love. Jace left Greenville to join the military six years ago without a word to his best friend, Andy and Andy's sister his secret girlfriend, Leigh. Shortly after getting in to basic training he was swept up to special ops limiting the amount of interaction he could have back home. Andy and Leigh knew he was in the service but that did not stop them from leaving Sammy, his and Leigh's unexpected son, a secret. Fast forward six years and Jace is back home for good and Leigh has seen him and started a little romance with him. She is yet to tell Jace that Sammy is his son. What happens when she does? Is it going to be a happily ever after or not for her? Do Jace and Leigh have a second chance at love?

As the title of the book, it is about a second chance with brother's best friend but it is also about a secret baby as well. Well, I am a fan of a second chance romance so the plot is predictable for me but I think the author has done well enough because I don't feel boring while I am reading it. However I think Leigh's act is so confusing and Leigh and Jace's first sexual encounter after their reunion happens so abrupt because I didn't feel any sexual tension between them before but I also can't deny that it is hot! And even if I enjoy reading the book, I still feel irritating because of Leigh's decision so 4.5 stars it is.

Leigh was supposed to go off to art school when she graduated. Jace and his best friend’s little sister Leigh were secretly seeing each other and he knew she was going off to art school when she graduated so he just left and joined the military without telling anyone that he was leaving. Six years later Leigh and a still in town with a five year old son. Jace turns up out of the blue to take over his uncle’s business because he was honorably discharged from his special ops program after being wounded. This sweet and exciting romance between Leigh and Jace has broken hearts, secrets, lies, betrayal and a love that can’t be forgotten. Fun read

A second chance?
This story starts with Leigh and Jase's “relationship” in high school and his sudden departure into the military without saying a word. She is not only devastated by his sudden departure but also learns that she is pregnant. She stays in town with her son, and when Jase returns six years later he thinks she has moved on with someone else when he sees them. Not only has he lost Leigh but also her brother as his best friend. "Poor" Jase doesn’t have a clue! Negative emotions abound in the beginning, but with the truth revealed understanding turns them positive. An emotionally charged read!
