Betrayal, sex, love, and bullets soon become the new norm for this family as they try desperately to find the person responsible for it all. With Nitro being the future king, there are a growing number of enemies that want his spot. Some closer than he may think. Will he find out before it’s too late? Or will the ones closest to him be his downfall?

Myleena

I liked this story. It was definitely twist and turns but drama at every corner. This started out crazy with the entire family being murdered but the ending may or may not be so bad. Too many disloyal people in the camp that is making it easy for everyone to be targets. Why I had a feeling that the sister was behind everything some how. My biggest question is why. Now Latoya was just dumb from start and honestly deserves everything she will get. I have mixed feelings about Nabila because even if I can understand her reasoning she knew how her father was about their religion and what would happen. Now Nitro has to fix everything because that's what the king would do especially with Myleena. To me she wants to follow her religion but also have regular American customs. Hopefully they get it together!!!! Really great read!!!

This was such a good read! Trusting My Heart with the King of New York pulled me in from the first page and didn’t let go. It was fast-paced, full of emotion, and had just the right amount of drama and heart to keep me hooked.

This was my first time reading anything by Desiara, and it definitely won’t be my last. She knows how to tell a story that makes you feel like you're right there with the characters, living every moment. This was also a buddy read, which made the experience even more fun—plenty of moments to react to and discuss!

If you love a good love story with real stakes and characters you can root for, this is one to add to your list.

Great Read

This was my first read by this author, but not my last. It was so good from beginning to end and what a ending. I really liked Nitro and Myleena together. I can't stand Latoya, and can't wait for her to get exactly what she deserves. Also, I like Ace, Dylan and Dionne. I figured out it Nabila was, but is she that vengeful towards her family. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. Great job Desiara.

Myleena need to understand that America is totally different from her homeland. Nitro needs to man up. If he ain't want to do right by her he should've let her be. I know who it was who killed her family. Latoya is crazy as heck. I like Dionne and Dylan. Hurry with part 2

Nitro is ready to put fire to Latoya. Now, I'm trying to figure out why Nabila is coming so hard at Myleena. Myleena couldn't disobey her father. She didn't turn her back on her. Myleena is worried and wants to know where Nabila is. Now, Nitro knew better when he told Myleena that she's American now, so you're going to have this baby out of wedlock. Need part 2.

Jaw dropping

This story started out raw with emotions and ended on a sour note. Though Nitro and Myleena started out with unwanted circumstances their connection could not be denied. Latoya his girlfriend tried her hardest to keep her man but her wicked ways made him cut her loose. She links up with his enemies and now to see what comes of it?

I loved the way Myleena was do beautiful and innocent she lost all her family and her oldest sister is out for revenge. I hope Nitro can protect her and keep her happy. Nitro just entered the lions den with Nabila. Hurry up part 2.
