I couldn’t remember what life was like before Wicked Blaze Correctional.
The place had left a permanent imprint on my brain. A bloody, savage tattoo that seemed to shade everything in dark, cynical colors. Jaded.
That was the lens I viewed the world through. Any rose-colored glasses I once owned had been dropped and stepped on, ground into the cold, hard floor of my cell.
The small amount of hope I did have resided in my future. A future with these men I love. A future absent of sadness, anger, and vengeance.
Unfortunately, there were elements standing in the way of that. Namely, Drake. Oh, and that pesky little claim Brody was making about my past. You know, the one where I was a queen and heir to the realm? Yeah, we would see about that.
What I did know? I would right the wrongs that had been done to this land and slaughter Drake before sprinkling his blood over every part of this sickening nation.
Defeating Wicked Blaze is Book 3 of The Wronged series. This trilogy will be a fast-burn reverse harem filled with dark subject matters, a strong FMC, and insane men. Follow Valentina and her men on a journey filled with revenge, steam, and strong characters that don’t fit the norm of society. A bit crazy? That is just their normal.
This fantasy RH contains several dark themes that readers should be aware of: swearing (I know, surprising, right?), gore, violence, assault, and sexual themes suitable for +18. Additionally, this book does have mature light m/m themes that develop over time.

Just remember to love cats... that's not negotiable.
Defeating Wicked Blaze is the third and final book. I'm just going to say it, I enjoyed the series so far but the ending of this one seriously annoyed me. Ever since the first page of the first book, I knew I was going to hate a certain character: Drake. Each chapter leading up to this little action made me hate him even more. The guy was an evil dick and he needed to pay for what he did.
Yet, and huge yet, what actually went down with the confrontation was very anticlimactic. I was so disappointed because of all the hyping up I did and I got diddly squat. Yeah the guy died but it was all kinds of lame. I wanted something more epic. A huge battle. BLOOD EVERYWHERE.
I got jipped people. Ugh!
Besides that, I totally knew this girl was going to be pregnant due to all the sexy times she was having. So, I guess, I was happy about them truly becoming a family. Still pissed about Drake though.
So, this series went way downhill. The first book was so good, but it just got more juvenile in tone and narrative from there.
And the climax of this series, her showdown with the monstrous Drake, was the biggest anticlimactic nothingburger that I think I have ever read. I seriously can't even believe it.
I enjoyed this RH trilogy. After the cliff hanger from book two, I was intrigued to see how this would end. I did like the fact that this wasn't long and drawn out. We get to the meat of the book pretty quickly. The way her family welcomed her back was a beautiful surprise because I kept waiting for one of them to betray her because that is usually the case, but no not here.
The first book in this series was pretty good but it all started going downhill after.. There's not much world building and no depth to the main characters. I think the issue is there's so many. We get extra H's thrown in the middle of the series and side characters coming in and out. A long lost cousin, half sister, and an uncle that we only get a few pages of.. Half assed back stories. I forced myself to finish this book but really nothing was going on. I skimmed 80% of it. The biggest let down was all the hints that we might get a little MM action with Dimitri and West! Nope just a tease.
I couldn't put this book down! Book 3 in The Wronged series by M Sinclair is the perfect culmination of the series. The events that Valentina and her men go through kept me engaged from start to finish. While the storyline ARC is completed in this book, the epilogue hints at more to come.I can't wait to see how the story continues.
What a great series! I loved Valentina and her guys and getting to see their true sides of obsession especially with the situations in this book. Great balance of steam, action and possessive alphaholes!
This series is so amazing. We get different POVs and I love the guys. Valentina is so fierce and protective. She is handling change really well. There is so much going on that I wonder what will happen next with everyone.
I really enjoyed this story. It wasn’t my favorite M.Sinclair series, but it was really good. Valentina is the Druid queen. Her mates are Milo, the ink/nightmare mage; Damien, the (hellound) aka the human; Brody, the royal guard; West, the fox shifter; and Vaughn, the wolf shifter.
I don’t usually go for penitentiary/prison type UF books, but I really liked this one. I think part of that reason is because they escape the prison at the end of the first book. Anyways, the plot was awesome. I wish they spent more time on the healing of the land after the final battle.
I was also a little disappointed at the ending. It felt like Valentina was more ‘pregnant housewife’ than queen at the end. She just sits back with her kids and lets her men run the kingdom. I want more for her than that. I wanted to see her traveling the realm (like she had planned) and doing more than just being pregnant constantly. It’s a bit disappointing actually. She was such a strong, powerful female character - all that was stripped from her in the last couple chapters.
I love so much about this series: a strong fmc, less than sane mmcs, reverse harem, fantasy, the world building, great steam but with a strong plot.
I loved that Val was so strong. She was considered the toughest in the prison. Her guys weren’t insecure about that at all and it made them like her more (ok there were a few moments of overprotection, but they’d get it straightened out).
The characters were all so interesting. They grew and changed over the three books.
My only real complaint is I just wished it had been longer. There are so many guys and I would have gladly read more about her relationship with each and their group relationship.
Book three we get steam and plot. Honestly a lot of the plot in this one felt unrealistic and quick. Like the author was trying to fit everything in that still needed to happen.
Overall really great series if you love fantasy and reverse harem.
There was some good stuff in this book. I liked the whole crowning ceremony. I didn't even mind the pregnancy thing. I'm not a fan of quick pregnancies in RH stories. But I decided to let it go. What IS irritating is her freak out about it. And can anyone say they didn't know what was wrong? Several of the guys knew, but she was too preoccupied to consider it? This is me rolling my eyes! I guess I feel let down with the ending. There's all this build up about the big bad Drake. Then, he's taken out almost instantly. We don't get a good torture scene or anything! I mean, all of them are violent, but when the violence is deserved the author has him taken out with minimal effort? Such a let down! Are we are to believe that the king and queen were unable to defend themselves from this guy? It makes no sense. The ending ruined the entire plot for me. There's never an explanation as to how Drake was able to create that prison or how it brought illness to the land. Yes, we know who was involved, but that doesn't explain how they accomplished it. Also, how would the king and queen not known how to defend their land? Why would Valentina's memories need to be taken from her? The ending just didn't make sense.
And don't get me started on the epilogue ending! Just, no.
So I went through a couple weeks of reading literally every series m. Sinclair wrote. I couldn’t stop I LOVE their writing and these books just consume my brain I can’t put them down!
Anyway this book was the first one I read after waiting for it to be released (I’m waiting on all the other series’ next book) and I gotta say I usually blow through a book in two-3 hours. This took me 5 days.
Spoilers to follow
I feel like the plot was a little flat in this. And all the build up led to a half of a page for drakes death? Literally the easiest death ever. Not that every book needs a big battle- now I feel terrible because I realized maybe there is a market that prefers small simple deaths? If that’s why this was how it was I applaud you m. Sinclair for catering to another group. Anyway this was new for me in these books and I wasn’t a fan. They got their happily after and all but I just really feel like it was all rushed just a wham bam thank you mam end to the series. I’m going to give this 5 stars because I love the author and I understand everyone has their I’m done with this crap moments during a career but I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same as me about this particular book.
Ya'll I cannot tell you how much I love M. Sinclair. I mean her books are perfect for my black heart. So here we have the conclusion of the Wronged series. So Valentina and her men are back and she is on a mission to kill Drake. However, she was given some news that changed her course in book two. She is a Princess. There was a point when I got worried because we have no idea how the current king will react. Her men they are so possessive it is not even funny. But you can't help but love each one of them. My fave is Dimitri, but hey I am claiming all of her men. So these men will do anything for her and she them. Will she finally get a chance to take Drake down? Will she claim the throne? What will happen with all her men? A lot happens but all in a timely fashion. I loved it because I did not feel like the story was being rushed but everything played out well. There was even some shocking information and I loved it. However, that ending though, does this mean we will see Val and her men make cameos in other series. That will be like ovary overload with all that hotness. Well I guess we will wait and see.
I loved that this book picked up right where the other book ended. I was thrown right back into the action of the story. I enjoyed following Valentina and her super hot, and psycho 😉, mates as they tried to figure out her past and what it all means. There were so many twists, turns, and revelations along the way that I could hardly put the book down. Then, the book ended, and while I was sad to not have anymore of her super sexy harem to read, everything finished up nicely. I got all the answers I needed, and some I didn’t know I needed lol, and there is even hints to maybe seeing more of these characters, or others in the story, in the future. Overall, this series is a must read! Between the unique story and characters you can’t help but be obsessed over, it’s definitely another set of books added to the ever growing list of M Sinclair’s series that I freaking love.
After escaping Wicked Blaze Correctional, these characters have run into trouble after trouble. Their latest? Brody! He states that Valentina is a Princess, and heir to the realm! Valentina is missing a ten year chunk of her memory, so she is not sure whether to believe him or not. All she wants is vengeance on Drake, and to make the wrongs he committed, right again. Can she trust Brody? Can she retrieve her memory? If she is the heir, what then?
This is the third and final book in this amazing series, and I loved every second of it! It is an incredible read! The storyline is fantastic! It is fast paced, sexy, and contains a ton of surprises! And the characters, OMG! Sexy, lovable, psycho, possessive, protective, they are all that, and a whole lot more! I will absolutely miss them all!
I highly recommend this book and series, and consider it a definite Must Read!
Kindle. I finished just to finish the series, it wasn’t a read I particularly really liked mainly due to the writing set up. Despite having a lot of tropes I like it was just a barely alright read. I majorly dragged to finish this book having lost my attention and interest early on. Beyond repetitive and the plot seemed at a standstill majority of book. It had a HEA and wrapped up completely though very rushed ending. Overly protective, caring obsessive psycho men. Always Love. Though that’s mainly all it had going for my main enjoyment of the story. Lacking in a decent amount of areas writing wise and just wasn’t a strong read overall. A lot felt thrown in/random and again just had weak transitions making the writing jumbled at points. I really enjoy the author this one just wasn’t a winner for me. Mindless, fast paced, quick/shorter, easy read.
Must read in order! This is book 3 of The Wronged Series. Valentina gets a BOMBSHELL dropped on her at the end of book 2 that leads to this EPIC series finale! (Though we are all secretly wishing we get to read more about Clover and her men). I love how the book picks up right where book 2 ends. The plot and theme still carries from books 1&2 that will be tied into a pretty bow by the end of the book. Valentina really gives off a strong willed, confident, takes no crap from others persona that makes this series amazing. Her men view her as the center of their worlds (even if they show some exciting alpha tendencies). Over all, loved , Loved, LOVED this book!!!! I really want more… no, I NEED more M. Sinclair, don’t you hold out on me :).
Reading the omnibus was great, but I think it’s only fair to write a review for each of the 3 books! There were several chapters where the female lead character had to “process” new information. She refused to accept and then after moping about life changing so quickly she finally accepted it. She is a bit of a brat that way, and stubborn. Hates being open about her feelings. The guys are all instalove with her, and they just get more possessive as each chapter goes. Tons of sexy scenes! This book had a bit more action than the previous ones and we got to tie up loose ends with her gfs from Wicked Blaze prison which I was wondering about. Loved the series besides the whole “woe is me attitude”.
We finally get the continuation of Valentina and her men story!
The story picks up where we left off. Valentina has received information about her past, but something is still making her doubt her past. As the story continues, Valentina regains her memories and with it her connection to a long lost loved one.
Amazing book, it’s hot with a few alpha possessive males and some twists and turns!
The new addition to the men fits in perfectly with the rest, and Valentinas relationship grows ever stronger and with a few surprises…
She has a mission: to take down Drake once and for all and she will not back away from this fight and get her well deserved revenge.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I was so excited for this finale and it did not disappoint! Valentina and her guys are some of my favorite characters to read. Her inner monolog alone brings me so much joy. I love the true variety of characters that Sinclair always brings to her stories (almost always with a bit of psycho). With this particular storyline coming to an end we are starting to get the big picture of Valentina and her role in this world. With delicious steamy bits, laugh out loud moments, and a nice dose of action, Defeating Wicked Blaze gives us a satisfying ending to the series. But of course we also get to see how Sinclair ties this series into the rest of this massive world!
I rated only 3 stars because there needed to be more background stories and details. I feel like these books were rushed. It definitely could have started way before she was in prison. I was waiting for there to be a scene with Val, West, and Dimitri since it hinted at it the whole time! Wth. I think that the acceptance of more guys into the group could have been more difficult too. I felt like it was just too easy and they would just say "I love you and you're my mate" and everyone says "OK! Join the circle". I prefer this author when they co-write books. These books had the potential to be much longer and more fulfilling.
We pick right up in book 3 where we left off after Evading Wicked Blaze and we dive right into trying to figure out Valentina’s past and who this newcomer is. Valentina and her men all go through a lot of changes and find themselves becoming a unit more then ever. There’s a lot of answers, steam and action in this installment and I definitely felt satisfied with how everything ends. All of the questions get answered and plot points get tied up nicely, there’s a hint of maybe seeing our characters in a crossover in the future?
This book was the perfect conclusion with an open ending for more. Valentina and her men are back and more insane then ever…at least where dimitri is concerned. The man is pure psycho and I’m here for it. Add in Vaughn, Milo, West, Francisco…and Brody and things are bound to get intense. Still reeling from Clara’s death Valentina is determined to get vengeance, and that is drakes head. Honestly this book wrapped up the series in every way I could’ve asked for. And more…. Almost twice as much 😉 another out of the park grand slam by M. Sinclair.
This is the third and final book in the series and after Val and her guys finally escape Wicked Blaze they end up imprisoned by a village that eats flesh. After the realm recognises Vals magic, she is able to free herself and her mates and meets some new faces along the way. One of them is claiming she has forgotten 10 years of her life and is the Druid heir and the lost princes to the realm. There are quite a few surprises along the way and I love all the new characters. The finale book was a prefect ending for Valentina and her mates.
To be honest, it took me a while to finish the book, not because it was bad but because I have separation anxiety with great books and their endings lmao. I hated that this series ended but I love how Sinclair wrapped everything up, but reeled you back in with that surprise at the end! I also adore how her books connect and how seamless everything is. M Sinclair is one of my favorite authors and I cannot wait for more by her even though ending a series is stressful for me 😂💜
Honestly, this particular series is one of my favorites by this author and I had to wait for sooooo long for this book😂😁 to come out, but it was worth the wait. Throughout this series the main female character has consistently made me laugh out loud with her antics and her inner monologue and I absolutely loved it! This was a wonderful story with some absolutely adorable, if slightly insane, characters that will have you cheering them on their journey. I would definitely recommend
For those that like to wait till a series is done before you read it Now is your chance to start an amazing series. This is the 3rd and final book in the series and does not disappoint! Go and start this series and you will be so happy you did! Valentina is such a strong MC and I love how she is able to stand up for herself and her men. Sometimes when a series has a lot of main characters the personalities get blurred but that is not the case. I like how each of her men have a distinct personality and nickname for Valentina. The ending was everything I could have wanted and than some!
A wonderfully fantastic conclusion to Valentina and her men’s story!
This story was action-packed with twists and turns at every corner. You never knew quite what was going to happen next as bombshell after bombshell came Valentina’s way. But through it all, she took everything in stride with her head held high and her men at her side.
The way everything played out was so perfect and exactly what I would have wanted for Valentina and her men. Despite everything that changed and came to, Valentina and her men continued to be unapologetically themselves and even more!
This book was soo good. I loved that it picked up where book 2 left off. Especially after that cliffhanger. The story was written so well and really kept me intrigued. Between the steamy scenes, the laughable moments, and just the overall juice of the story it did the characters justice. I love Valentina and her men. M. Sinclair did a wonderful job giving them a proper ending. Would definitely recommend this book and series to everyone!
What a great ending to the series. We picked up where book 2 left off and V and her guys are really starting to be a family unit. I love how M. Sinclair writes her protective psyco guys who would do anything for there woman. I know that we will see these characters again as M. Sinclair's world overlaps in most of her books!! So I am not to sad about the series ending and not seeing Val and her guys anymore. I highly recommend this book and series to everyone!
