This book can be read in one sitting and it is hilarious. It really would be perfect for a daughter or niece in the 14-17 year old range. It looks old-fashioned with the 50's-60's style photos, but it is chock full of real life lessons about boys, periods, sucky jobs, etc.

For reading this book as a project, it was relatively good. It was full of personal stories that really showed a point towards different things that women should know in the business industry and such.

I'm going through older self help books I bought myself. This one has good advice but is getting dated.

Read it in one sitting and I wouldn’t even call this a self help book- it was more like a friendly elder sister talking to you. Would recommend teens of any age to read it.
