What a series
I absolutely love box sets and this one is amazing. You get to see how everything comes together without waiting. This series is action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat from book one all the way until the very end.
I read and listened to the audiobook and enjoyed it very much.

These final books in the series is where we get to the meat of the story. There's an evil that has plans to bring destruction to the world, and Sam and Alex need to find a way to fight that evil. Sam discovers she holds a huge part of the puzzle within her, and Alex is the key to that puzzle. They follow the mystery as far as they can, but they always seem to be two steps behind. When the identity of the leak in their defense is revealed, it changes everything.
The twists were unexpected and the roads they needed to take to get to the end of this mystery were complex, and it made the story that much better for it. None of the characters is perfect, which makes everything so much more believable. I found Samantha to be a bit self-deprecating at times, but it didn't completely detract from the story itself. It held several tragic moments along with moments that were truly victorious. I had my heart broken more than once, and that's what makes a story good. I enjoyed the entire series.

Witches of Halfmoon Bay books 4-6 by Heather Hildenbrand and narrated by Kelly Pruner is a box set completing the 6 book storyline. Samantha, Sam, the heroine is on a collision course with fate. Alex, the hero, does everything he can to help/save Sam. The author doesn't leave you hanging with unanswered questions at the end. The ride of emotions is long and wild. The supporting characters are widely different from each other and make the story more complete. The narrator is very good with feminine characters but I feel she needs a a bit more practice with masculine ones. Overall, I very much enjoyed the story and all the little twists and turns.
Would I listen to this book again? Yes
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes
I HIGHLY recommend listening to the entire series in order, as the author meant the story to be told.

What a whirlwind of a ride this series was! The dual POV continues and I just loved it. Alex and Sam both try to protect each other but eventually they learned to work together.
I love the world that the author created. Sam and Alex pick friends who are like family to them and throughout all the odds they learn to count on their friends even tho there has been betrayal is just amazing. I loved the paranormal element. Witches, werewolves, and hunters were a nice addition to this series.
The audiobook was great. The narrator did a wonderful job. The inflections she used for each of the characters were good. I loved how the author has bundled the three books for 1 audible credit! Love it!!

This is for all three books in the boxed set: cute fun little read. I liked the fact the auto didn’t spend a lot of time from one book to the next telling the back story of the previous books, so these three books read like one continuous novel. Reader beware: editing is horrible! Lots of typos and grammatical errors that are very distracting and pull you away from the story often while you try to figure out what was meant. I almost gave up a couple times because the poor editing was frustrating me. Glad I stuck through and read it all though. Cute little, albeit predictable ending.

Spare the guilt/angst!
There's guilt/angst which we all have to various degrees-then there's overblown, overdone, need a few more pages? add in same much previously overused angst/guilt from previous chapter (and chapter before and...) Enough already, the characters and story are constantly "stuck" while they're rolling around in the same guilt/angst rut. Get them a life and let them get OVER it!

Heather Hildenbrand really ups the ante in this second box set! I received a free audio version of this set but all opinions are my own.
I really love how the mythology evolved and grew. I loved the addition of the magical gods and the global extent of the story. These made it more exciting! Often, stories can go stale as they end, but that doesn't happen here. And I was happy with the outcome.
This was a great urban fantasy that is well narrated that readers will enjoy!

Brilliant
These two book sets of 6 were brilliant. A tad bit long for my liking but all the same they were really good and I didnt skip pages which i do normally when the storyline flops a bit or it becomes too wordy. Descriptive storyline and characters. These books follow Alex and Sams story. I read the initial books and didnt know these were connected at first. Im so glad Alex got his HEA some years after. Sexual scenes. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect ending to the series.I am so glad everything worked out.Sam made the hardest choice of her life and it didn't turn out the way she thought.You will have to read the books to find out what happened.This was a great series of books.Thumbs up to the author.

Great story
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this complete series. It was a roller-coaster of emotions. The twist and turns had me turning the pages even after I told myself I'd stop after this chapter. I'd recommend this series for ages 16 and up only because there is sexual content. Thank you Heather for the wonderful adventure.

Excellent
This second box set was equally as fantastic as the first. Filled with action, intrigue, and emotion it kept me turning pages. I can’t recommend this entire series strongly enough. I can’t wait to dig in to whatever she writes next. This author could easily become a favorite!

Amazing
This was an amazing Read. The storyline, the friendship everything to draw you in and not want to stop reading. Alex and Sam story was one for the books, literally. They were their for each other through thick and thin and it’s the way it should be. Well done Heather Hildenbrand.

Loved that I knew the characters
Hated how stupid they were. If I could figure out the clues they were given instantly why couldn't they? No Alex had to ble told 5 or 6 times his blood held magic. He should have immediately asked how to use it! Sam & Alex got lots of advice from everyone just appeared to stupid or too paranoid to trust the wisdom of people.

Riveting!
Heather has such a way Of attaching you to her story book characters. You get to know them you get excited, Scared,Terrified, Sad And Happy for them! There is twists and turns with every page.

This series will grab your attention and keep it thoughout all the books. Very well written. The characters are interesting and the plot full of twists and turns. All in all, a great read!

Excellent story line
I love how the entire series flowed. There was no missing pieces in the end, no lose ends. There were times that I felt like the story dragged just a tad bit, but the end made up for it.

Very enjoyable
Alex and Sam together are remarkable. This was like a roller coaster ride with your emotions. I though for sure I knew the end , but was pleasantly surprised by it.

After having read the first box set, I immediately bought the second box set. Definitely not disappointed!

Fun, light YA series. I had to listen to these because I needed to know how this ended! I was invested in the characters and the story. I enjoyed the magic, the break from reality. This was a fun listen and a great fantasy series. All the characters were well written. The storylines were interesting, and - like I mentioned - I just needed to know how it ended (I mean, you know it has to end well, but ... like how well?). I listened to them all on audible while driving, and it helped pass my commute in a fun way. Recommend for a fun, light, fantasy read.
