I was born in London in 1956 and lived most of my life in the south of England.

I ran a naturist resort in Portugal for three fun-filled summers. Mrs Bun decided this was what we wanted to do. We spent two years searching before we found L’Olivette, our little paradise in the South of France.

Teachers always tell you to write about things you know about. So, that is what I did!

During the long evenings of the quiet season, a series of novellas and short stories started to take shape, one letter at a time

The first book in the Rags to Riches series, in which our central characters first meet and romance starts, “The Uncovered Policeman” was published on Valentine’s Day 2016.

Since then, I have got a little carried away!

I really enjoy this character team from Ted Bun. I felt this latest story left me wanting a bit more Melody mischief and detail in the closing chapters though. I was spoilt with the first introductory story to Melody and her warm, self assured and independent spirit in book 1 - Problems & Passions.
Thanks Ted, keep the faith and sun in yer buns..

Ted Bun is offering us the chance to meet the magnificent Melody. What a woman! This fun tale is dominated by her personality. Melody the Mischievous! Melody the Marvellous! I loved this story of the feisty, saucy middle-aged widow who divides her time between living her life to the full and benefitting others by her problem-solving skills and uncanny knack of finding the right advice for those whose life needs a bit of a lift up.
Ted is a well-known naturist fiction writer so the ample helpings of laughter are in contrast to the virtual absence of clothing. No dark violence and deep passion here, just a feel-good little book worth a read to make your day.
And the best news? There’s plenty more of Melody to enjoy. This is the third book in naughty but nice Melody’s adventures and I believe more are on the way.

Melody of NBL Solutions has taken a break in the south of France, yet nearing the end of her holiday is lured to yet another situation of the kind she relishes. An author has been referred by an associate of Melody's, and presents just the sort of ticklish problem Melody likes to get her teeth into with her unique set of logic skills and quirky out of the box thinking. And thus begins another fun NBL caper.
A thoroughly fun read, with a set of characters lead by Melody and backed up by the rest of the cast we've begun to think so highly of, and inveigling happily our new acquaintance. Charming and fun, I can't wait for Ted Bun's next offering with Melody, my favourite investigator, and her team.

Another cracker!

Romping yarn, loved it. It has humour and empathy from well formed and likeable characters. Certainly never a dull moment.
