Who knew delivering cupcakes could lead to space travel?
Haley
One little delivery couldn't possibly go wrong, could it? Why yes, yes it could. Twelve little cupcakes have never traveled quite so far before. One minute I'm on Earth where every good human should be, and the next I'm on a moon with the hottest alien I've ever seen. Of course, he's the first alien I've ever seen because they don't exist. Only it turns out they do. And they're looking for mates.
Phaze
When I need a mate, I turn to the Starlight Matchmaking Agency. When she claims there's been a mistake and she isn't my mate, how do I convince her to take a chance on me? Because this little human is everything I never knew I needed.
Ok, so some other reviews were complaining about how the plot made no sense. The plot DOES make sense, as long as you realize that both of them feel inexplicably drawn to the other. Both of them talk about this multiple times, but I can see how if you miss it, the decisions they make would seem nonsensical.
I liked the characters and the writing style a lot. I’d definitely consider reading more from this author in the future.
Was not happy with ending. Thought it should have had more of a rap of. Kept thinking his mate survived and had been captured, freed and made way back. Want another book with that storyline. Maybe with her pregnant and her friend coming to new home as well.
Rest of book was good, the tunnels was great idea, and his homestead wonderful
The second book on this series I read, the first book from this author. I have to say is nothing to write home about. The book is very bland and there is no chemistry between the H and h at all. They feel more like roommates than lovers. Also, the description of the H is nothing like the cover.
A very fascinating world that we simply dip our big toe into with this book. So if you like quick cute reads of very big mean looking aliens that are actually marshmallows inside, with heroines who have a heart of gold, read this. 100% good read with some well placed action scenes, and a world that is just dying to be explored, with characters that are briefly mentioned in this book, who’s stories I shall be searching for. lol
This book was OK. It was better than the first book I read in this series, which I had to abandon. Harper Rosling had a good concept, but I think it needed more work to flesh it out.
