Rate this book
After been abused by her late husband Hector, Gabriella Borders never wanted the same for her daughter Za'Nya, however, in life, history tends to repeat itself. In her past relationship, Za'Nya Borders was a victim of abuse and vowed she would never become one again. In fact, she swore by it, that is, until a chance meeting at a local Barnes & Noble, changes the narrative of her life forever. Sincere Perkins was a successful club owner and the ultimate eye-candy and Za’Nya had a sweet tooth at the very first sight. The attraction between the two was instant and Sincere was quite the debonair as he laid on the charms. Za’ Nya was apprehensive at first, but little effort was needed before she would be putty in the handsome entrepreneur’s hand. Outside looking in, the two formed a bond, leading into a beautiful relationship. Sincere and Za’Nya appeared to represent true relationship goals. All should be well, right? Unfortunately, everything that glitters is not always gold and what appears one way from the outside is not always as is in the inside, representing the true definition of Misunderstanding to the fullest.Come take this ride with Sincere and Za’Nya in this emotional tale and get lost Misunderstood.

CRAZYYYYYY!!!

I rate this book five stars. Sincere was crazy from the beginning to the end. I hope that zanaya can learn her lesson this time. I would have never responded to his emails or letters after he did what he did. He didnt have to do ole girl like that. I wonder what's about to happen after all weapons are drawn.

Pretty good

Can you say DRAMA!!! This story had more drama than a little bit!! I like that! It kept me wanting to read more! I was easily able to visualize as I read! The author did a pretty good job in telling this story! I do wish that it was a little longer but I’ll be reading part 2 because that ending got me curious!

Interesting plot, wild characters!

Whew, the story started off with drama and ended on a wild cliffhanger! Za’Nya definitely was a firecracker character that caused a lot of conflict within the story!

I can’t wait to see what part 2 brings!

Not believable

I don't think this is worth the price, it was fast paced but it felt more like a overview of the book.

A great read

This was my first read by Author Hope Phillips. It will not be my last. This story tells the story of domestic violence, but is so much more than that. It was a very drama filled book. This was a page turner for real. I will definitely be reading more books by Author Hope Phillips

A quick read

Sometimes you learn the hard way. Sometimes a hard head makes a hard behind. Unfortunately, teenagers and young adults think they know more than their parents and get caught up in the wrong parts of things.

Ok Read

This was an okay read. I didn't see Sincere's flip coming. I actually liked him in the beginning. I believe with some re-edits this could be a great read.

Whew

A hard head make a soft ass. We all go thru that faze of wanting to be grown. But when a mf show you his colors before you get started and you still don't take heed. That's all on you. Nya had it coming. All that disrespectful crap she had I bet she think twice. I'm ready to see how this end. This dude ready need to die. But I blame is mama for choosing dick over her kids. That's crazy.

The story had such potential but it was all over the place.

I was reading then BOOM! The story took a turn and it was as if the author deleted parts but sped the story up. I was totally lost.

Not a bad but the story just felt rushed and parts lifted out.

Hopefully the authors other books aren't the same!!

What a sad read but I can't wait for the nxt part

Sincere has a lot of demons and he deserves what ever krama he gets. I feel so sorry for his sister bc she didn't deserve what happened to her at such a young age I hope they can get away from him before it's too late. I need the nxt part asap bc I would like to know what happened and how all of this plays out
