Knights Through Time #13

Falling Through Time

Rate this book
It’s raining men.

All Violet ever wanted was to prove to her mom she’s got what it takes to be a fashion designer.

With two weeks to submit her best designs, there’s no time for a guy who fell from the sky in the middle of a hurricane, especially one who thinks he’s from medieval Scotland.

So what if Duncan McTavish is charming, handsome, and kind? Nope, Violet takes him in during the storm.

But once it’s over? This hot scot is on his way back to wherever or whenever he came from.

“Would you like an adventure now, or should we have our tea first?”
-Alice in Wonderland

Cynthia Luhrs spends her time out on the deck, looking out over the mountains, imagining what if. She writes women’s fiction, time travel romance, contemporary romance, family sagas, paranormal romance, and thrillers. Readers say her books (well not the thrillers, those are gritty) are light-hearted reads to escape reality.
She lives in the mountains of North Carolina, has always been a reader, and is overly fond of sparkly flip flops and pretty pens. Though now that she lives in the mountains she’s going to have to find fabulous boots, mittens, and hats!

Charming

This time travel story is charming and sweet, as well as entertaining.

Duncan has a lot to discover when he wakes up hundreds of years in the future during a hurricane in Florida. He adapts to his new environment surprisingly easy with tons of questions and hilarious reaction.

Violet had experienced betrayal from several loved ones. She is inspired by Duncan’s time travel story and highly attracted to the sexy and very muscular Scot. I loved how she introduced him to modern life and developed a close bond with him.

The storyline moves fairly quickly and doesn’t get too deep into their developing relationship. There is several hilarious scenes as Duncan adapts to modern day life in Florida.

Too short for my heart

This was great! I hope we are starting on another series within the Meriweather/Thornton world. The characters were very likable, even the sub characters like Dora. The story just wasn’t long enough for me I could have read for another 50 pages at least. I hope this isn’t the end.

Hurricane, time, and love

Duncan was sick, then injured. Still he was strong enough to travel through time. Cute story. The ending came too fast.

Duncan McTavish is from 1350 and landed in 2020 on Violet Wallingford's lawn. Duncan doesn't understand this modern world at all. Violet is hoping to be a famous fashion designer in her parents company. Violet teaches Duncan about this new world discovers she likes his simple way of not so fast moving. Duncan is caught between two worlds which one fits him better. Will Duncan stay or go? Will Violet realize her dreams? Your answers await you in Falling Through Time.

I just adore this series. I love the choices each character has to make! I love how two worlds collide! I can't wait for my next adventure. Until next time Happy Reading!
