The past few weeks have been packed with lots of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ books for me and CC Miller’s Fatal Funnel is one of the stand outs because of the mixture of romance, suspense and mystery
India and Jeremiah’s story is no Romeo and Juliet, but the pull and bond that they have with each other is what keeps this book a page turner.
And Jeremiah, what a trip! He is a complex character and readers either love him or hate him and you’ll understand why once you read this awesome work from CC!
You know a book is going to be good when the prologue captures your attention and pulls you in. India's life was turned upside down when she opened a malware email and the government agency she worked at became the victim of a ransomware attack. Six months leaders she's supporting herself by working as an exotic dancer he, the man who ruined her life, finds her there.
I can tell by reading the book the author did a lot of research on cyber-crime and made sure the book accurately portrays that. I love books that take real life things and portray them in a fictional way. I hate books that take with they think those things are and try to portray them and don't do it accurately. C. C. Miller did her research.
More than just researching the crime, she created characters and plot that where you meet. I love romance. I read every genre of romance books. I love romance books that have plots outside of the bedroom and this book has that, but it also has those hot steamy moments that keep you wanting more
Jeremiah, the man who turned India's life upside down, is the lead that you love to hate but also hate yourself for loving. He's the boy who knew her in high school and did not know when he sent the email that it would be her who opened it. He's also the man who finds her at the dance club and takes pictures of her period that's just creepy. Throughout the story there are moments where you like him and you want something to work out, and then there are moments where you hate him. I love books that don't give away the ending within the first few chapters. I want to be kept on my toes and I want the anticipation of what is happening next period I don't want completely predictable and boring. This book is anything but boring. It is a page Turner that keeps you guessing and keeps you wondering how everything will work out.
Fatal Funnel detailed the love story of 'straight and narrow' India and cybercriminal, Jeremiah. I was afraid the secondary plot would be too techy but everything was explained in layman's terms. I hated Jeremiah, loved his partner, and at times, wanted to slap India. This was an easy and entertaining read. Great job C.C. Miller!
Very emotional read for me! It had me laughing, angry, and so much more due to the personality and scenes with the characters. Similar to being on a roller coaster! Great job on this very entertaining story!
I've read several books from this author, she always keeps me guessing. My favorite is still her book Shedding, but I love that she delves into different genres and still remains smart and sexy.
Cybercriminal. one step ahead of the FBI, on their wanted list, Aarav had the big house, money, clothes and looks. Stacy tried her best to seduce him and nearly succeeded until he found out she was a minor. But he couldn't get her out of his mind, he wanted her, she was like an itch he couldn't scratch but would she comply with his demanding and controlling needs. Great, steamy romance with crime and deception interwoven that sets up this great storyline. Fast paced, totally draws you in with strong characters that form a relationship that one minute you want to work, the next you don't. Quick read for me as I didn't want to put it down. Good job!
When street smart Stacy meets handsome cyber criminal Aarav it’s not exactly love at first sight but once they are together there is sex galore. Then she finds out about his criminal ways and wants in. And so starts a thrilling spiral in the cyber criminal underworld that may prove hard to get out of.
Any book that someone pours their heart into should be recognized for the work of art that it is. This particular book didn't really appeal to me, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't good. I commend the author for their hard work and passion.
Picked up this book this morning at 8am finished it 12pm. Yup. I couldn't put it down. The book reminded me of one of James Hadley Chase books! Crime, love, a wrong chess move and game over! Jeremiah was a typical computer geek. You know the type: smart and cool headed with a subtle smile, like they have the key to the universe. But instead of a typical boring life that he was pretending to live, he was secretly into cybercrime. Then he met the one woman who was an echo from his past that made him picked a wrong chess on the board! It was a quick read for me. The writer was articulate and the words were perfectly crafted. Loved it! Would recommend this book and the author!
I was hesitant about reading this story because I felt like the author was not paying attention to the others that I liked so much. But let me say that I'm ecstatic that I read this. It was refreshing, kept me up until 3 in the morning. Jeremiah was an effing mastermind and I loved his character. Hands down!! A man who knows what he wants and goes after it by any means necessary is it for me. The writer's awesome storytelling capabilities stood out yet again as everything was well thought out, on point. Thank you C.C. Miller for another awesome book.
Could not put this book down. Believe me I tried a few times so I could get some work done. Nope. Couldn't do. India and Jeremiah drew me in completely. And I must say, I'm pretty sure I hate Jeremiah. But I love him. He is a master manipulator and mind game king and poor India is none the wiser. It's not often I sympathize with the female leads but in this book, I wanted to help her see. And just when I decide I love Jeremiah again, bomb drop. It's too much. And it is truly a freaking fantastic book.
Oh my God I'm still reeling. This book was a real trip. The best kind. Jerimiah had me fooled from the beginning but he's still so hot in spite of being a sociopath!

Wow! This book is a unique loves story. Jeremiah is truly with the mind games. Complete mastermind. Poor India! She wasn’t prepared for the mess!!! Beautifully written ❤️❤️❤️.
