The Bowman family is back and fighting to survive an enemy more dangerous and deadly than any they have faced before.Picking up a few years after the first book in the Sultan Saga series, the Bowmans are thriving in the little outpost town of Sultan, Washington. Selling whiskey in the 1920’s during the time of Prohibition has proven to be increasingly profitable for family patriarch Levi Bowman and his four sons but as friends and neighbors are suddenly found dead under mysterious circumstances each of the Bowmans will be tested in ways none of them could have expected.
From local squabbles to increasingly powerful threats from outside forces, the Bowman family is left scrambling to protect and defend their backwoods empire from those who would take it from them.
The Bowman Boys by bestselling author D.W. Ulsterman is sure to please readers who enjoy stories of family drama and raucous adventure.

“The Bowman Boys are special. Good yarn about the values of men who matter during a time not so long ago when a man’s word was all you needed.” -Mike D. Landfair
“A highly engaging read full of action and mystery.” -Nancy K. Oliver
“Riveting book, hard not to keep going all night.” -International Kindle Customer
“Amazing read. I have read a few of DW’s books now and the stories are like a wick. You just don’t want to set the book down. Character development and descriptions take you to the era he’s writing about.” -D. Bodine
Yep, stopped reading SJI series at book 2 because I really wanted to read the Bowman Boys. Sooo, read the Bowman Boys, over the top satisfying read, both books. then the author very sneakily and cleverly tied the Bowman Boys back to the SJI series..... Now, I have no choice but go back and finish reading the SJI series while I wait for book three of the Bowman Boys. but what's a reader to do. SIGH.......
I very much enjoy how this book has its own stand alone story, but also intertwined with the San Juan series. It helps explain some of the connections and adds to the mystery. I look forward to the next of each series as this is an amazing journey to read through.
Well, this is a sad day. I've read all the other Ulsterman books, so nothing left (until his next one). You really get to know the personalities of each of a variety of characters, and the real-life areas they live and "work." Ulsterman spins good tales, taking me willingly to the boundaries of plausible. Enjoy!
I thoroughly enjoyed this sequence of the Bowman family—the need for a proof reader centers on the misspelling of words and the miss-naming of characters in the text —otherwise these novels are well done.
I liked the story however words were left out and wrong names were used for the wrong person at one point. I don't know who edited this but they did a terrible job.
D. W. Ulster man has created a wonderful family story! I wish I had read these two books first but thoroughly enjoyed them after reading the San Juan Series! I have enjoyed all his novels! Thank You
Great story. Really liked the story and all of the characters. Suspenseful page turner that included much sadness and loss, but also goodness ANF freedom for many.
Riveting! Crime or was it! Defending family or murder! Government intervention or manipulation! Powerful story based in the 1920's and around the prohibition. Could not wait to get back to it when not reading.
The author is really good portraying historical times. These two books reflect his knowledge of the early 20th century during prohibition. Very well written.
Complicated story with many aspects, woven together exceptionally well. Interesting characters. A little supernatural for fun. I enjoyed this book very much.
