First off I love Christmas Books so this makes me so very happy to have a bundle like this together.

Christmas Reflections: Awe another book by this fabulous author that will grab your heart and tug it along for this catapulting ride. I read this one quite some time ago but absolutely loved it.

Christmas Ivy: I love the setting in this book! It's a wonderful story and you'll easily fall for the characters and their compassion. I love how the shelter women were woven into this book.

Christmas Chemistry: I love this little tale of bring old and new together. Mending and binding in both love and traditions. Wait until you see what takes place here.

Christmas at the Aloha Cafe:This book is a story that I'm sure some can relate to in one way or another. It's setting is very inviting and the friendships are golden.

Always on Christmas:How catastrophes bring people together can be heartwarming. An adorable little girl to fall head over heels for as well.

Second Chances: I read this book the other day and fell in love with it and Noelle and I think you will too! What a beautiful story, loved the setting, the magic part of this time setting, and all the characters.

Counting on Christmas:A great book about standing your ground and starting over. You will feel like you are right there with the characters as they find their way through to what is next.

Christmas Reflections by Joanne Jaytanie---5 Stars
Christmas Reflections is a wonderful start to a series. It is well-written with likable characters and an HEA. Juliet and Colton are opposites--small-town woman vs big city guy. The romance is sweet and subtle. Holly is a sweetheart. I love the way the town pulls together no matter the circumstances.

Christmas Ivy by Joanne Jaytanie---5 Stars
Christmas Ivy is a sweet romance taking place at a Christmas tree farm/inn/unique craft workshop called Christmas Forever. I would love to spend time at Christmas Forever and be friends with the ladies who own it. It is a magical place. This short story was well-written and highly enjoyable. The romance between Ivy and Mason was sweet and gentle. No alpha male and feisty heroine. Just two everyday people becoming friends and falling in love. To me, that is beautiful.

Christmas Chemistry by Joanne Jaytanie---5 Stars
Christmas Chemistry is a sweet, small-town romance. Gina and Owen are an unlikely couple but they fit together nicely. I like the way Forever Christmas keeps growing and evolving into something bigger and better while retaining its charms. I enjoyed this story and urge you to read the entire series of sweet romances.

Christmas at the Aloha Café by Jacquolyn McMurray---5 Stars
An unconventional romance and a very satisfying story showcasing how friendship can turn into so much more. Noelani and Kalama have known each other since they were kids but each married other people. Now it is time for them to find love together. This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed her writing style.

Always on Christmas by Jacquolyn McMurray--4 Stars
An enjoyable sweet romance with an HEA. Emma doesn't want a man in her life for a multitude of reasons. Hank isn't scared off by her attitude and offers her friendship and a helping hand when disaster strikes. Ally was sweet but a little naïve. Kids her age don't hug your knees--they're taller than that. The scene rescuing the cow wasn't believable.

Second Chances by Grace Augustine--5 Stars
Two sweet romances in one book. Tucker and his daughter Sabrina are both gun-shy when it comes to romance. Blair and his mother Felicity are just what Tucker and Sabrina need--even if they won't admit it at first. I totally understand Sabrina's feelings toward her mother and her unforgiving stance. Likable characters and two HEAs.

Counting on Christmas by Lexa Fisher---5 Stars
A sweet romance with a mature couple. Mary and Chris each have baggage to get rid of before they can enjoy the Christmas season and find love. My only complaint is that the police weren't called when Jeffery attacked Mary at her house. This is my first book by this author but I plan on reading more of her books.

I read this book through KU.

Lots of good Christmas reads to help get into the holiday spirit. I loved how some of the stories were interconnected. I really enjoyed the different style of stories but all were very sweet, older romances. I loved that they were all mature.

Being involved with reading/reviewing a broad spectrum of genres, but most recently non-fiction Christian books, I had missed going back to my roots as a multi-genre romance author and to read a good romance story that would tug at my heartstrings.

Aside from Valentine’s Day, the Christmas season is usually fraught with romance stories; stories that span various events/emotions. Yet, there is something special when these stories take place in a small hometown environment.

This book doesn’t contain just one story; it contains seven stories written by four formidable romance authors, each with their unique way of communicating a set of emotions befitting the holiday season. It is a holiday season brimming with the giving/receiving of gifts, some of which are not of the physical type but love.

None of the seven stories in this anthology are disappointing; each offers a sense of family togetherness and friendship that are part and parcel of any heartwarming traditional holiday season with all of its elements.

For having given their romance readers a collection of stories that beautifully epitomizes the holiday season, how can I not deny the authors and the stories they’ve written for this book the 5 STARS they deserve.

Cute and christmasy

These stories were cute with Christmas magic. They reminded me of some of the Hallmark movies that play on tv. They all had HEA's and some of them kind of went together between other authors in this collection. 2 were ok but the rest of the stories were Really good.

Each story had its own plot; some a continuation while others referenced aspects from another. A couple of the stories were completely independent reads. They were all light and enjoyable for the Christmas season.

This is a group of Christmas stories with some hits, some misses. I've posted comments as I've gone along, but I'll go into more detail here since space did not allow that on update posts. The first three stories, all by Joanne Jaytanie were okay. I liked that the stories weren't necessarily about characters I expected them to revolve around. But I had a lot of issues with the coincidences: a group of friends quit their jobs to buy the local Christmas tree farm to make it a year-round tourist attraction. The farm just happens to have enough private homes on the lot for each of them to have their own place. (Which defies logic since it was a family-owned farm and the previous owners' kids had all grown and left the place, so who lived in all those houses before?) A doctor comes to town, and the town's doctor just happens to have retired and left them in the lurch. In two of the stories, people just happen to be descended from town residents they didn't know about when that information resolves the conflicts involving the romance. As my favorite former Navy SEAL is fond of saying, "Coincidence takes a lot of planning." Conflict is based on misunderstanding in each story. I never felt that any of the women were truly in love with the men; it was more basic attraction. There were some editing issues I found hard to ignore, particularly when it came to plural possessives and the tricky "Mom" and "Dad" vs. "my mom" and "my dad."
The next two stories were by Jacqoulyn McMurray and took place in Hawaii. I enjoyed the first one, about a pair of longtime friends who both have a lot of growing up to do, despite their ages. And I was particularly satisfied that the heroine realized the true reason why she wanted to win a silly competition, but it was a long time coming. In the second story, a single mom is struggling to provide a happy Christmas for her daughter in a new place, but money is extraordinarily tight for her until she meets the rancher next door. The more he provides for her, the more attractive he becomes to her. I know that wasn't what the author wanted to convey, but there really was little to no spark between the two main characters.
The last two stories were the best, in my opinion. Perhaps, it's because they were longer and the authors were able to allow attraction and conflict to bloom and resolve naturally. Second Chances by Grace Augustine was familiar to me, but it has been improved and many of my original misgivings about the story were improved and corrected.
Counting on Christmas by Lexa Fisher was an interesting read. While I did have some issues with the abuse and how no one came to the main character's aid, despite the public venue (and how her boss seemed more worried about her business getting a bad Yelp review), I did enjoy the slow simmer of attraction between Mary and Chris. I think the bit with the ex-wife could've been left on the cutting room floor without losing anything, but that's me. 4.5 stars
All in all, it's a 3.5 star read, rounded up to 4 because three of the seven stories did leave a smile on my face.
