Romance and intense suspense

Shelley Justice has created a cast of likable characters rich with story potential. From Sydney and Cole's first impulsive kiss to their last, this couple travel a path of danger and desire that will keep you on the edge of your seat. In this book you root for the good guys and for Sydney and Cole to find their HEA, and you wait for the bad guys to get their just desserts. Now on to book 3!

This book written by Shelley Justice was awesome. Cole aka Panther and Sydney are a couple that you are not sure about to begin with in the story. But they grow as a couple under circumstances that are a bit unusual. The team unearths issues about something concerning Sidney’s ex-fiancé. Of course, there’s lots of suspense along with romance. Things come to ahead in an unexpected way. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

This has been a hard to put down I don’t want to adult today kind of book. Sydney and Chloe are friend goals and the bit of drama with Cole and Sydney and Zane was just enough drama. Perfect balance of all of the elements that make for a great book. Well done

Great series

Enjoyable story filled with excitement suspense and romance. Dark subject sensitively covered so beware triggers but otherwise a great story and I do love this group.
Fantastic characters and always good interactions cross the wider characters in the world that the author has built up. Craving more stories in this series quickly, especially Chloe’s.

Intense all the way through!

Cole and Sydney's story is hot from the start! Shelley Justice weaves a story full of suspenseful twists and turns, along with providing an epic journey to finding love. It checks all my boxes. I laughed, I cried, my heart ached, and my gut clenched. And by the end, I was completely satisfied that Sydney had truly found her Knight. I can't wait for more in this series!

A plot i was not expecting, liked the characters as well as the love interest. The Knights rescue is a action packed tense read from start to finish. On kindle it comes up as 465 pages long and it is not. (thought i would mention in case a novel of this size puts people off) In fact it is about half that amount.

Last book for me in this series.

I really liked the 1st book and was looking forward to a new series, sadly, that ended for me in this book. 1st of all 2 books in and still no action as far as their off the books spec ops jobs, just mentioned at the end that they were just on one. This book started with Cole as the H, whom wasn't even part of book 1, was hoping for one of the many guys we actually met in book 1, my fault for not reading the blurb. There is nothing I hate more than a dumb TSTL h and Sydney is the dumbest of them all. She was on lockdown for all of 5 seconds before she was running outside...of course she gets kidnapped and of course innocent people got hurt and everyone kept telling her it's not her fault.. umm yessssss it was!!!!! Too bad she wasn't the one raped and stabbed....grrrrrr unfortunately I will not be continuing on with this series or author.

Love this series!

Ok, I have to talk about book one and two. I couldn't do a review for the first book and it was awesome!!! I cried so much while reading it. Both books are full of suspense, intrigue, evil (really bad evil) but also contains a lot of caring and love. The descriptions of their center, then gym, the people were excellent. Love the Brotherhood of the guys. Can't wait to start the next book. Written by Cindy :)

Knight's Rescue is the second book in my Knights of KSI Series. It introduces two new characters who will be featured throughout the rest of the series. Cole Atwood has retired from military service and is looking for a new purpose for his life. His SEAL buddy Tristin offers him a position with KSI, but he's uncertain about the opportunity because there appears to be more than meets the eye going on behind the scenes.

Sydney Reede is a computer analyst who is working to build a new life for herself after leaving her abusive ex-fiance, Emmett Carter. Certain that Emmett is finally out of her life for good, she ventures out of her comfort zone at the coaxing of her best friend, Chloe Stephens. But Emmett makes a reappearance in Sydney's life, and he wants something from her.

Sydney crosses paths with Cole, and their chemistry is electric. She doesn't expect to draw Cole into her troubles with Emmett, but the sexy SEAL somehow appears whenever she needs him. They want to pursue their growing attraction, but Emmett strikes out against both of them. When they find out the sinister secrets Emmett has been hiding from her, both Sydney and Cole join forces with the KSI Alpha Team to take him down.

If only it was that easy...

Sydney is a fighter. As an abuse survivor, she struggles with uncertainty and insecurity, but I love her character because she never gives up in her search for who she is. She wants to grow as a person and be strong and brave in the face of difficulty, and she's the type of woman I want to be friends with. Cole is one who took me by surprise. I know that's strange to say since he's a character I created, but it's true. He is an alpha male, but he is so encouraging of Sydney. He has no trouble letting her shine and find her own way.

Two secondary characters who stand out in this book for me are Sydney's best friend, Chloe, and fellow Alpha Team member Zane Wilder. Chloe is no-nonsense and fierce. She doesn't take crap off anyone, and she always has her friend's back no matter what. Zane is the proverbial strong, silent type, but he's a character I've fallen in love with. Even though things don't go the way he hopes, he never stands in the way of others' happiness. He has no problem putting others ahead of himself.

This book inspired me to follow through on my dream to be a published author, even though it's not the first one I published. It's very special to me, and I hope it's special to my readers.

Great suspense, cruel and vicious antagonists, drug/human trafficking, a betrayal, domestic violence and a white hot romance make Knight's Rescue a captivating read. Cole Atwood and Sydney Reede are destined to be together but their journey to happiness is a rough one. Taking down a trafficker has been on KSI's plate for some time. Every time they get close, the suspect eludes them. Having Cole Atwood join the Alpha team is a definite boon. Then getting Sydney Reede on board increases their confidence of success. Afterall, the trafficker is her abusive ex who has suddenly set his sights on her again after six months. Cole becomes as obsessed with Sydney's safety as he is with her. She's determined to help out where and how she's able to. Her resistance to Cole is laughable at best. The man ticks all the boxes but she's made bad choices before. The last few chapters are edge of your seat worthy with fast paced action, suspense and danger. Happiness comes with a price but Cole and Sydney get the happy ending they deserve.
