Run. Hide. Judgement Day is coming. Changes are in store for Rosalie, David, and the gang at Penrose’s. Remodeling has begun and lives are in upheaval as well as floorplans. Rosalie’s duties as the new human warden on the council draws her deeper into Integral politics. A clan leader dies, another is elected, and a plot against a third turns deadly. Who will emerge unscathed and who will be banished? Meanwhile, Judgement Day approaches when rights are set wrong and anyone who crosses a cupid risks the Kiss of Death.
I find the characters very likable. They have their faults, as people do IRL, so it makes them more relatable. Wish I could relate to the magical aspects but what are you going to do? The story is fast paced enough to hold my interest and to look forward to what happens next.
David and Rosalie are the primary characters but the others are not neglected and you get a good feel for their lives. Romance between ordinary humans and magical beings is starting to become a bit redundant. It's unlikely that a six year old boy and teenage girl would be able to refrain from telling their besties the biggest secret that they know. Kids talk and love to impress their peers. Perhaps that will occur in a future book. Nevertheless, I do enjoy this storyline. It's a fantasy so the impossible will rule the day.
I really enjoyed reading the first two books in the series & look forward to more. The characters & their relationships are well written & thought out. The magic & special powers is fun. Plus, there isn't a lot of blood & gore. Even though love & sex is implied, it is tame enough for my 16-year-old granddaughter.
Loved it as well as the first book. Interesting characters, lots of action. Excellent, excellent books. I stayed awake most of the night on two consecutive nights to finish them
The love between Rosalie and David continues to grow. Can't wait to see what happens between Natalile and Ross and Mega and Dominicans the rest of them. This is awesome and got more interesting. Can't wait for the next book to come ouy
And, personally, I really do, this is a very satisfying read. It really does need to be read in sequence, so read the Naughty List first. And you’ll want your very own E.L.F.
Great follow up to the first book. I couldn't put the book down, when I was supposed to be sleeping, I was reading. I can't wait to read the next instalment.
A very good book with a lot of substories inside of it as well as the overarching plot line. It was very well written and flowed nicely. I enjoyed it very much.
