A beautifully illustrated book about a family on a road trip that sees the glory of God in His creation along the way. The lines rhyme, creating a lovely rhythm, each section ending with “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the [insert a creation here] tells me so.”
It’s a little wordy for very young children’s attention spans, but I imagine it’d be great for preschool age.

My girls (4&2) love this book and I love reading it them! The illustrations are fun and the text has great cadence/rhyme. That the book draws inspiration from the song Jesus loves Me is a bonus. Tbh its hard to find a faith based book that has 1. A good story 2. Good rhyme 3. Good illustration and this book accomplishes all 3!

A delightful story about seeing God’s love in the world around us. Over the course of the day, a young girl and her family travel from home to a camp ground far away. The young girl shares the ups and downs they encounter while relaying the message of God’s love.

Detailed, full-page color illustrations enhance the story wonderfully. They add an enchanting and heartwarming feel that underscores the story’s theme and spirit perfectly.

There’s so much I enjoyed about this story, but, most of all, I appreciated the spirit of gratitude exemplified within this story.

Picture book, realistic fiction, told in rhyme. This book is a beautiful way to show children that the world around them is a constant reminder of God's love for us. The family featured is a white family-- Mom, Dad, two daughters, and two sons. The text is a bit long, with four rhyming couplets on each spread, followed by "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the ____ tells me so," with the blank filled in by various natural wonders. Would make a beautiful story to read before bed with an older preschool or elementary aged child. It would hopefully inspire reflection on how the kid(s) see Jesus' love on display.

Beautiful message but want something more

This was a cute extension of a beloved and well known Christian song, Jesus Loves Me. The message that all if God's creation can remind us of Gods love was cool, but....I felt there could have been more actual story. The kid went one a one day journey yet somehow saw all the seasons and places in nature....
Suspension of disbelief wasn't there for me, I suppose and doesn't take away from it, I just wanted more story and plot. Still a cute book, though.

Gorgeously written and illustrated, the verse flows effortlessly like butter and the powerful message of seeing God's beauty in all the blessings around us, make this a must read. At a time when the world struggles with unprecedented challenges, this beautiful book reminds us of the best in all of us, and our ability, through faith, to weather life's storms to reach better days ahead.

This illustrated story is about a family that one day goes on a road trip and sees and cherishes the wonders and the beauty of the world as God created it.

The story is in a poem style with rhymes and the drawings are bright and beautiful, and we really liked it. It reminds us that all that we see in nature around us, however big or small, they are wonderful and Jesus loves us.

I received a free copy of this book but that did not affect my review in any way.

My three-year-old loves this book! We read it one night and the next night he was pulling books off the shelf just to find the “camping” book. We love the flow, the gorgeous illustrations, and the simple but profound way it points us to see God all around! I like the variety of real-life examples- beach, stars, fireflies, baby sister, etc. Great book for kids to start making connections to! Would make a great birthday, Easter, or baptism gift as well!

Beautiful book

The cover is enough to draw you in, it’s truly beautiful! Then, from the very first page onwards, it has you fall in love with it a little bit more. The illustrations are wonderful and the ability to rhyme well and tell a story of God without being pushy or bias makes this book so amazing. I read the kindle version, but I’ll be buying the hardback for sure, even if just for the gorgeous cover (it’s not just for that). Well done!

love everything about this book. I love that the story takes you on a great adventure to see God's hand of love in so many places. The illustrations alone are a grand adventure. I love that each page has hidden in it the scripture reference that inspired the page. Kids love to seek things out, and it is the honor of kings to do so!

I also love that it includes a blank page where the kids are encouraged to write down places they see God's love for them.

STUNNING book. As a scientist and practicing Catholic, I found this story to be exactly what I would want younger me to have read. There is such beauty in how Clay intertwines all of creation with a classic church hymn. This book inspires the reader to be curious, recognize God in all things, and accept Jesus' love.

10/10 would read to a child.
Bit of an older one who could sit still, maybe.

It was very cute, very centered around nature, and pointed out how totally tubular God is.
