Combining a former CIA spy, a confident salon owner, and a killer out for revenge, Sharon C. Cooper hooks readers with a startling prologue and keeps them engaged with a witty and enthralling tale in
Hunted
, the fifth book in the Atlanta’s Finest romantic suspense series. Set mainly in Atlanta, Georgia, it features formed CIA spy and current security specialist Myles Carrington and salon owner Geneva Ramsey.
Myles prefers listening over talking, tends to be closed off and reserved, and has trust issues. Geneva is determined, social, bold, impatient, combative, and self-absorbed at times. Neither is looking for a long-term relationship.
Action, humor, and suspense combine with characters that have great chemistry despite having very different personalities to make an entertaining story. Although there is some repetition regarding their issues with long-term relationships, the pacing was good, there were a few twists and a big surprise along with a few spicy scenes. The antagonist becomes known to readers by their first name only early in the story. While the reason for revenge was clear, his skills weren’t as believable. More background was needed to better understand those. Despite this, I enjoyed the story as the conflicts moved the story forward and the storyline gripped me.
Overall, this was an entertaining and enjoyable book. While some characters from previous stories in the series show up in this one, it can be read as a standalone novel.

My kind of romance. Romance suspense thrilling action and entertaining. Myles and Geneva were complete opposites but they complimented one another. Myles was strong sweet and silent and Geneva was sexy flamboyant and boisterous but they somehow worked well together. They understood each other. I thoroughly enjoyed Collin and Coco’s endearing antics. And it’s always wonderful to catch up with the rest of the Supreme Security family. My only issue is the unnecessary repetition regarding Myles issues with committed relationships, it was reiterated in almost every chapter; I think we got it after the first couple of times. Despite that I really enjoyed Myles and Geneva’s journey. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Everything was good until Myles pass came back to haunt him. Can he save his relationship with Gen or will he have to disappear to keep her safe. This book has murder, attempted murder, arson, destruction of property, and some surprises. Sex scenes were awesome. Great catching up with characters from the previous books. Kudos to author👏👏👏👏👏👏

Romantic suspense at it’s finest. Myles and Gen were totally opposites but made for each other. Great job, Sharon. Looking forward to the next of Atlanta’s Finest.

She has entertained her readers with intriguing stories about these fine men of Supreme Security since we were introduced to Mason Bennett, A PASSIONATE KISS (2016). Former CIA spy, Myles Carrington, a member of the security team of Supreme, is featured in this story along with his love interest, Geneva Ramsey.The story begins with a murder that draws the reader in for a riveting nonstop whodunnit mystery. I liked this story! Sharon C. Cooper has written a romantic thriller that is a real page-turner. HUNTED is a worthy addition to the Atlanta’s Finest Series, and I recommend it for your reading enjoyment. It’s the sixth book of this series, and it can be read as a stand-alone. How our past sometime haunt our present!
This is exactly what occurred to Myles Carrieton another member of Atlanta 's Finest. As we all know everyone who works for Supreme Security including its owners have background in some agency of law enforcement! Myles a former undercover CIA agent learns he is being hunted when a former agent he once partnered with dies in a horrible car crash! He learns the accident may not necessarily have been accidental and so the quest to learn the truth, stay alive and keep those he loves safe begins. Guess who makes an appearance in Myles' story as his love interest? I will give you a hint she is sister to Laz's wife Journey!! Folks this story is so full of twists and turns that it keep you guessing what's going to happen next. Not to mention its a page turner that as soon as you think you know, you are taken in another direction but take heart it all comes out right in the end. Getting to the end is enjoying all of the good parts of reading about another of Supreme Security's consummate professionals. By the way, there is a huge surprise awaiting you in Myles' story!!! Happy reading to you all! Sharon I am so glad I finally get to submit my honest review. I so enjoyed this book I know the other readers will too!!!! The past comes a knocking
Sharon delivers again, as she gives us the story of Myles and Geneva. The past has a way of finding us, when we least expected. Go on the journey of Myles and Geneva, as choas, suspense, revenge, mystery, independence and protection surrounds them. We are taking on a journey of what happens when two polar opposites stop ✋ running 🏃♂️ and all their passion and purpose go forward. When tragedy strikes what happens to bring Geneva and Myles closer or in some cases wanting to be a part, makes us as readers want to scream but also rally cry 😢.
You'll like the addition of Collin and CoCo they softens the personalities of Geneva and Myles.. Securing a spot in each other's heart ❤.
Seeing the Atlanta Finest make an appearance and be key was fantastic. You'll love the story from the opening words.

I generally dislike romance as a genre. It’s 90% miscommunication and 10% sex, but romantic suspense means someone is probably trying to kill at least one of the main characters so they can’t whine about their feelings the entire book. I’m here for it.
Hunted was a perfectly pleasurable way to spend an evening. The pace is quick, and the lovebirds stayed together throughout their challenges instead of breaking up and being childish about their attachment issues. My only real critique is the complimentary cast of black male characters all of whom are 6 feet, brownish, muscular, and fine. I stopped trying to keep up with who is who in Atlanta’s Finest, but I know they all have their own stories in the series. I don’t need to read the rest, but I’m not mad at a fast-passed romance with a few twists and a happily ever after.

Sometimes being an author has its perks, like meeting other authors and falling in love with their characters and their series. Something about this series, Atlanta's Finest, really entertains me and I'm ready for the next book as soon as I finish the current one. As a fellow author, I know that having a readership that's always salivating for the next release is not a bad problem to have.
That said, I have been WAITING for this next book for some time, and it came exactly when I needed a distraction and something with TEETH. I enjoy romantic suspense because I love the bridge between a genre that I read and a genre that I write. Often, there's more romance than suspense, and the intimate moments come at an awkward or inappropriate time. Cooper has such a knack and a feeling for the flow of a suspense novel and where to insert the ~feel good~ moments that bring the characters together. She's a master at weaving both story lines and creating character arcs and beats that not only entertain, but keep the pace at a level that holds attention. I cannot stand a slow suspense plot.
I'm hard pressed to point out flaws in the story or the telling of it. This is book 6, so she knows what she's doing and she does it well.
Already ready for the next one, Sharon! :D

Great addition to the series
This story kept me intrigued and plugged in. Myles and Geneva were a perfect match for each other adding in Coco and Collin they made a beautiful family. Hunted was action packed from the start to the end Whitney's accident the trouble at Geneva's shop to the intruder at Geneva's house. I am loving this series and can't wait for the next book of romance packed with suspense and intruige. Hunted was another 5 star hit and I totally recommend this story and the entire series.

This one just like the first one grabs you and keeps you until you finish. Myles,and Geneva was like night and day ,but when they finally figure out that they are better together than staying away from each other. The story line gave you a lot of everything,from danger to steamy romance and in the end true love,and family can't wait for the next installment of Atlanta Finest to catch up with Myles,and Geneva,Collin ,and Coco. This was a great read Mrs Sharon Cooper your the best.

Geneva, Myles and Collin.
A strong romance between Geneva, a hair salon owner and Myles who was a security consultant who was also previously a spy for the CIA. Slowly danger followed Whitney, his former partner resulting in her death which was ruled a homicide. This exposes Myles to having to explain awkwardly to Geneva about his son Collin, Whitney and their relationship.
Myles and Whitney were being stalked by the son from a former case and he holds them responsible for his parents death.e
An excellent twist and turns romance and suspense story and recommend this one.

Oh my gosh, I said it before, but have to say it again, this is a great series. Atlanta's Finest most definitely. I love Myles and Geneva. Two people not wanting to be in a committed relationship, but with their chemistry and not being able to forget one another when they were separated, how could you not see the love. And how sweet is it when little Collin now truly needs his dad and Geneva wants to be there for both her man and his son. Supreme Security's fine men and their strong, beautiful and smart wives make this a great series worth enjoying.

Brothethood
The author, Sharon C Cooper, showed brotherhood, love and compassion in 'Hunted'. When Miles needs help from a past CIA event the men from the security firm he works for had his back. Even with his past and a closed heart Miles lets Geneva in. Their love was tested but they survived. The 'Hunted' is a read you will not be able to put down. Some of the characters from the series make an appearance. This a read you will truly enjoy.

Good but not up to the other books in the series
I gave a 3 star because somehow I did not connect with Myles and Geneva story as I did with the others. Whilst I loved Myles - Geneva not so much. I did not think her character was a good for for Myles. The suspense was good but the ending too easy.
Love Kaz and Journey's story and looking forwArd to book 8. Also hopeful for Parker' to get his own story

Love a strong heroine and her quiet broody alpha man
Great story line. I love that it’s the woman loving and leaving them in this story until she meets her one- Myles absolutely the best book boyfriend. Secrets, bad-ass and totally in love with Geneva. Good back story that comes to haunt the present but everything works out and they get their HEA. A must read, a great series as well.

So Loved
EVERY novel written by Sharon Cooper, keeps me up past my bedtime! I always love her plots, characters, settings, and moods in all of her books that could me actual movies!
This book had me so on edge wondering who did what, how was the information leaked, or was Reuben still connected with the gang. My friends already know about Sharon’s books before I finish them on my kindle.
Another Great job from One of the Greatest Authors.

Family
Great story. Miles was a tough but he was a good man and just right for Geneva. Geneva was spirited, kind, loyal and loving. When Collin lost his mother Geneva and Coco helped in giving him some stability. Atlanta's Finest took care of business again. Glad to see another one is coming.

Myles Story
It was great to have learned more about Myles, who was always a must backstory. The book not only provided him a past but a future. The silent and dependable man was able to himself to love and family. I have enjoyed all of the books in this series and am looking forward to the next book and glad the series will continue.

Omg excellent
This story was all that and then some. Exciting, hot men, love, tears, and killing. This story had me on the edge of my seat. It is always great seeing boss women in her books. If you want an exciting series then this is one of them. I can’t wait for the next story.

Excellent read
Excellent read, I loved the characters and storyline. Myles and Geneva are a great match. He is strong and quiet, while she is feisty and outgoing. Myles past covert employment with the government has comeback to haunt him. Through it all, Myles and Geneva romance/ relationship endured. It was great to catch up with the family from Atlanta’s finest.

This entire series has been phenomenal, boy Myles and Geneva were what each other needed. Myles found in Geneva what he never knew he needed and He made her go against everything that people knew she won't go for. I can't wait to see what Mrs. Cooper has in store for them in the next book.

Outstanding
I enjoy reading book. The characters were well developed and strong. The writing flows easily and effortless. The lovemaking is off the charts. There is humor and sadness with great family dynamics among friends. There is suspense and page turning excitement. You will not be disappointed by selecting this book.

High Octane Suspense With Some Love Thrown In the Mix
Myles and Geneva’s story started and ended with a bang. The chemistry between these two was off the charts. Add in Atlanta Fineness and you have a story line that had you drooling and on edge waiting to see how the story unfolds. Kudos to Sharon C. Cooper on another amazing story. Sharon never disappoints.

Exciting and Romantic
Myles is my type of man. He handled his business, took care of his woman and his son. Absolutely loved this story. For Geneva, she's outgoing and successful yet more vulnerable in the love area than she thought. Myles is a MAN! They both have a past but it doesn't hold them back from truly going with love's flow.

Taming of Opposites
Myles and Geneva were such opposites that it seemed almost impossible for them to be together. Their story solidified the thought that opposites attract. They needed each other. Miles tamed the no holds barred Geneva and Geneva bought to life the stealth Myles. Atlanta's Finest proved themselves again.

Oh, My Goodness!
Well, Lord have mercy this book made me want to have my own Myles! Suspense, sassiness, adventure, fine forces to be reckoned with security professionals, what more can you ask for in a book! Now, I am hooked!!! Sharon C. Cooper is now added to my list of favorite Good Reads authors!
