I’m disappointed.
It was one of my most anticipated release for the month of January and I’m sad to see that it didn’t live up to the previous books.

This series was supposed to be a 4 books series and I don’t know why exactly it ended up being a 3 books series but I can tell that this book was rushed.
It’s separated into 3 parts and the first one was 5 stars but upon reading it became apparent that it was 2 books in one, some of the actions or main events happened off page, the conclusion was so predictable and cliche, some of the characters development were lacking, the pacing was strange and I didn’t understand the timeline properly, I don’t know, I’m a bit on the fence about this and it should’ve definitely been a 4 books series.

I have to give credit where credit is due: the authors writing is flawless as usual and I’ll be interest to read more from her, this series was really fun and I still had a great time discovering this world and all of these characters.

3 stars ⭐️

Oh and I don’t know what happened to the cover and why did they change the design for book 3 but it’s really bothering me and triggering my OCD..

Fate by Marie Robinson and Elaina Jadin is the perfect conclusion to the Blackfang Barons series. This story ticks so many boxes: reverse harem, dark romance, mafia shifters and those spicy scenes we’ve been waiting for.

But holy hell, nothing could prepare you for the intensity and heat that radiates off the page when Fawn and her Alpha’s finally have some sexy time together. The moment that the Blackfang Barons finally make Jemma theirs, will have you needing a cold shower.

I adore the unraveling of Jemma’s ancestry, the friendships formed and the trust she has in others. Most importantly she’s more in control of those she let’s into her life. She will no long bow to those around her…unless it’s Draven, Kade or Bishop.

There’s also teachings and understanding in this story, as the traditions of the world these characters are in, unwinds as the story develops. There’s backstories which unfold, and scenes where I found myself crying as the emotion of the story was overwhelming. Overall the end of this story couldn’t have been more perfect for this series.

I have had so much hope on this book because I really really love book one and two. I still do but this book three, that supposed to be a final conclusion and big reveal of so many mysteries , is obviously rushed and incomplete to me. (which is not ok for me as it has been postponed a few times, while I do understand RL happens, but I could have waited another year for a better, more calculated version of the final)

All the building up of Draven claiming Fawn as his mate , but the result is way too little impact. The claiming is flat, dull and without passion or powerful connections. The part when Draven went into a frenzy and left Fawn spend the night alone was planned and handled poorly. Then all of the sudden , they rushed the claiming for Kade too. I was absolutely disappointed at that point. I mean, I could have waited and willing to buy another 2 more books if that is what it takes to finish the whole story and give it justice. The two claiming almost feel forced and not a bit romantic and soul touching for absolutely no reasons.

I love love love Bishop, but in this book , the author made him look like a fool who "think" he is smart but he was outsmarted completely. All the back up plans he had, NONE of them worked nor he predicted the betrayal from his clan. That was a bad plot that contradicts what was originally a real cool character these author created.

The way he (or his beast) accepted Fawn was not explained in his POV. I was left a huge question mark in my mind, WHY ? WHY ? why we didn't get to hear what he felt when he was biting into Fawn's wrist but didn't hurt her further ?

The first two books were absolutely my favorite RH books but this book is not. I will try to daydream a better version (or a longer) in my mind because this book, did not do the story justice.

There are so many tiny details that can be handled and further explored than it has been. Like the relation btw Emilla and the bear shifter, I don't know if the authors are planning another story but I would love to see that. More details of how Fawn acting as the mate of three powerful alpha and what she can do with the pack. The ancient stories about the "forgotten ones" , the way how the ending finished it was cruel and pointless, I mean why tell a whole story with build up but at the end , her bloodline means nothing ? I make me feel like the authors just want to get this book out ASPS and move on to the next project maybe.

*WIP Review* - this has been one of my most anticipated releases after how much I loved Book 2, Fury, and the incredible depth and growth for the characters and loving the story arc.... And while I did enjoy it overall, it fell short of living up to the epic conclusion for the series. There's some areas not touched or developed further, or like missed moments for adding depth and dimension to the characters' connections, while other parts that felt a bit repetitive and disrupted the flow.

Book 3 wraps up the story - solidifying the relationships between Jemma and her Alphas, forging new friendships between Jemma and Emilia and Ashley, and eliminating the external threats - and ends at the start of HEA time (not much HEA time).

I’ll write a longer review later, but I just wanted to say how disappointed I am in the ending. It was rushed and the authors really shortchanged the readers. This should have been a 4 book series b/c way too much got crammed into this 3rd and final installment.

This is the final book in the Blackfang Barons Series. I have been excitedly awaiting the release of this book since reading Fawn, and then Fury. And let me say, It was 1000% worth the wait!

This is an absolutely phenomenal finale to this series! Action, intrigue, betrayal, revelations, surprises, and so much steam! I could not have asked for more from this story! And I seriously could not put it down!

I fell in love with Jemma and her juicy barons in the very first book, and I can honestly say that I love them all even more after this third book!

I think my favorite thing about this series is how much Jemma grows and evolves, with the help of her men, she really finds herself, which is such a beautiful thing! I also loved how the guys themselves changed as well. And of course I loved how the relationships between them all develops throughout the series.

I absolutely loved this incredible, dark, mafia, shifter romance and I highly recommend it. I personally consider it a Must Read!

I LOVED this conclusion to Jemma, Kade, Bishop, Draven and the Blackfang Barons. This was an epically exciting and detailed end to this trilogy. The heat between these four is intense and it is so sexually charged. I couldn't get enough of their power play and the long anticipated mating marks.

The Jemma of Fawn has long since been left behind. In Fate she truly comes into her own. Jemma has an undercurrent of violence and darkness that perfectly compliments her harem of dark, Mafia, alpha wolf shifters. The trilogy has been a journey of Jemma overcoming her demons and coming into her strength. She is a perfect fit for each of her alphas and just as she draws strength from them, she brings out a stronger, more complete version of her them too.

This book was so well worth the wait. The authors did Jemma and the Barons such justice in winning their wars both personally and in the world of the shifters and their politics. A perfect, dark, Mafia shifter romance with epic chemistry, heated matings, action and a kick ass FMC.

Freaking fantastic conclusion to Fawn and her Alpha’s story. I absolutely loved this story, the storyline has been enthralling from the very start and it just got better and better throughout each book. These characters are diverse, have so much depth and made me fall in love with them. In all seriousness, the writing is just so fantastic that I couldn’t put it down. This book managed to give me ALL the feels, from start to finish it was a roller coaster of emotions and I loved every bit of it. The evolution of Fawn from book one to now is unbelievably good. I very, VERY much recommend this series, and I can’t say that enough. So Freaking Good!!!

*le sigh* Perfection! It feels like forever since book 2 came out and Fate was worth the wait. The perfect ending for Fawn and her yummy dangerous mates. Draven, Kade, and Bishop are hot and smexy and badass. Fawn’s character development is just fantastic. She started as this weak hallowed out shell of a human and her mates taught her to be so much more. They helped her find her strength and her own level of badassery. She was always meant to be the Queen of the Blackfangs, she just had to find herself first. 💜

Fate was the perfect ending for Jemma (Fawn) and her deadly mates. The character development throughout this series was fantastic (especially Jemma's). You really can't help but to love them! This story was an emotional roller-coaster and I loved every moment of reading this chunky boom. There was action, steam, and all the little details that add up to an incredible story. Definitely worth the wait!

Worth every penny

Each book was amazing in its own way but this one hit all the feels! I loved all the MC's relationships and how they changed. New relationships, fights, betrayals and answered questions had me on my toes! One betrayal was so unexpected and sad for me I love/ hated it.

This third book was actually the best out of all three. It does give some much needed answers and at the same time it is quite action packed. At times it did feel a bit rushed, but considering the pacing of the first one, this was much more engaging. It does provide quite a bit of information on the MMCs and their past, which was rather interesting.
All in all, this series was a bit of a struggle, but I am glad I made it to the end.

Wow, this book blew me away. From the moment that I started reading it, I was hooked and could not put it down. It moves along at a pace which is the perfect fir for the flow of the story. The characters are amazing and you cannot help but love them and the story will not disappoint you, keeping you interested and reading until the end. This book needs to be read and on your TBR list, no doubt about it.

Blackfang 3

This is book three and the conclusion to this awesome story. A 4 plus rating. This sees our fawn grow teeth, nails and strength. She reeks revenge on her ex in the best way. We find out her tormentor is devious, he truly is demented. She finds her backbone where needed and the same thing with submission. The end is bloody, vengeful and utterly satisfying.

Not sure how I liked this book. I've waited a long time for this release, but was a little dissapointed with the delivery. Se parts were lengthy and some parts were not developed enough. Took me so long to finish this one because I read other books in between, somethimg I NEVER do. However, I am glad of the closure I got from the ending Jemma got.

This was a great wrap up for the series! Jemma had so much growth as a character, and each of the men did too. I'd recommend this series to anyone in need of some darker mafia PNR RH ❤

The couple: Bishop, Kade, Draven, Jemma

Romance genre: shifter; reverse harem
Series: Blackfang Barons
Length: 456 pages

Plot: There are all the plot points in this summary, so don't read if you want to be surprised.

Commentary: I will definitely concur with what a lot of other reviewers have said - this was initially billed as a four-book series, and now it's a trilogy. Maybe there will be books about the other characters (Emilia and Nikolai, maybe), which I would love! Despite the disappointment of the change in the series, I still loved this book, and it was one of my 5-star reads for the month. I loved the evolving relationships between the main characters, and I also loved the way that Jemma started connecting with others besides her guys (such as Emilia and Ashley). But it's the relationship between Jemma and the Barons that really blossoms. They share secrets and emotions in a way that deepens what they have (both Jemma and her one-on-one relationships with the guys and the relationship amongst the three men as well). I do appreciate that Jemma does not become more valuable because of her lineage or any of the secrets they discover about her; she is simply what she has always been, the center of their hearts.
Draven: My wolf has known from the beginning, but it’s only now, in this pure moment of togetherness, that I finally allow myself to feel the depths of the devotion I’ve harbored for her all this time. I love her. I love her so damned much.

This is the final thrilling chapter in the Blackfang Barons trilogy and while I'm going to say it was worth the wait- dammit I really needed to be reading this a year ago.

This book is FAN FREAKING TASTIC!!! What can I say, if our authors had to write a final installment then this is the greatest final that could ever be written. This book is everything that the last two books have been leading up to and more. It is the culmination of every ounce of drama, passion, heat, intrigue. It is the culmination of Jemma's entire life.

Our little Jemma is no longer the weak, frightened, pawn being shuffled around life at others will. Sure she's still a pawn but the's also the queen who directs not only her own fate but that of those around her, especially her three kings. As Kade says, she might be a smashed piece of fragile glass, but each shard has a lethally sharp edge just waiting to draw blood.

I could not put the book down, I actually dozed off a few times and smacked myself in the head with my kindle, I was so reluctant to put it aside at 2am... I just had to keep reading to find out how it ends, What it all means and where those first terrifying moments Jemma suffered in the park as her parents were murdered, were going to lead in the grand scheme of things.

I know you will all be staying up late with this one. Trust me, this is a series that everyone is going to want to read. So if you haven't read FAWN and FURY yet, you are really going to want to and then of course jump straight into FATE when you're done and see what it's all been about.

Easily One Of My Top 5 Reads This Year !

I read, quite a lot and it’s not just one of those things that people say but don’t mean. So far this year I’ve read over 500 books, and that doesn’t include those that are cast aside to the ‘virtual DNF’ pile. It’s not intended as bragging, reading is my ‘me time’ and I hardly ever watch tv anymore. So hopefully it might mean something when I say I think this series is absolutely phenomenal. It’s genuinely one of my top 5 series this year.

It’s a Dark Paranormal RH, frankly after reading through the series the evolution of Jemma, the FMC’s character is a thing of beauty as are the changes in the MMCs Draven, Kade and Bishop. I hadn’t read the blurb before reading because this was somewhere in my TBR list so initially I thought it was a Dark RH story.

If you’ve got this far then you know it features shifters of all sorts, it’s a very very different approach to shifters than I’ve seen before. They aren’t “out” in the world at large as a known entity, for what I’d hope would be obvious reasons. Instead it’s a case of shifters have always been around as humanity expanded then the shifters had to pull off that great PR trick of making the world think that shifters were nothing more than tall tales. As with humans there are good and bad in every society that includes shifters too

This is the final book in the series, the Alphas and Jemma move to the country estate, time for an awkward meet and greet with Draven’s mother. Jemma has to find her own place in the world the alphas inhabit, if she can live long enough.

It's time for Jemma to step up and take her place within the Blackfang Barons. She has won the love and loyalty of the Alphas, Draven, Kade, and Bishop. Now it's time to take their marks. Maybe. There are still risks to the pack and Jemma. History and ancestry are also factoring in. Jemma knows if she wants her HEA, she's going to have to fight for it.

This could be called the Evolution of Fawn and her Fangs. Jemma was a broken girl when she was sold to the Barons. Scarred from her past. The Alphas were cold, ruthless men incapable of forming romantic attachments. Damaged from their youths. Now Jemma is a strong warrior woman standing by the side of men who respect and adore her.

This has been an entertaining, well-written series. I did like it, however, it won't be a story that sticks with me. This final book was a bit of a letdown. It simultaneously dragged and felt rushed at times. There were parts that felt like lost opportunities since they lacked depth. The Alphas were each incredible characters. I would have liked Jemma's individual relationship with each to be explored more. Still, we got every answer we wanted, and the story was wrapped up nicely. Side characters became more important as Jemma became embedded within the pack, and we saw the future laid out for the pack. In the end, it was all about growth; the true coming of age of Jemma and her Alphas.

5 stars for this incredible story

Blackfang Barons has been one amazing series, it’s dark, twisted, sexy, blood thirsty, brilliantly written, has everything you want and more between a shifter and a mafia series, FMC with 3 hot beasts who really do have what it takes to control a woman in the bedroom with so much pleasure.
They are fierce and love hard.
They are all so different but come together like no other.

It’s been a fantastic journey, it’s been deep with scars and trigger happy.
Brilliant twists and plots.

Absolutely loved everything about it and sad to see the end but grateful to come across it all the same. It’s a keeper for sure and will definitely look forward to reading it again soon.

The female lead came into her own, and it was definitely a change from the doormat she started as, enough that I didn't hate her any longer. The males started treating her well enough that I could imagine affection developing, but the depth of love they were reported to have reached was still not supported to me. They still hadn't really done anything to redeem themselves for the lies they told and how badly they used and gaslit her in the beginning (she pretty much rescued herself and all they did was retrieve their toy to assuage their pride, although admittedly it was back to a more comfortable environment). The worst of the villains definitely got their just rewards, and there was a happily ever after, even if the end seemed to wrap up a bit quickly.

Fate, the third and final book in the Blackfang Barons series continues from the end of book two, following the story of Jemma O’Connor aka Fawn, and her three alphas; Bishop Volkov, Draven Kildare and Kade Alvaro. Now that the alpha's have finally brought Jemma home, they give in to the call of their wolves and begin the marking ceremonies. With Jemma getting stronger day by day, and she finally finds her strength and manages to go from the weak little girl she was in book one into something fierce. She's not just a pawn any longer, but also a Queen, ruling over the Blackfang Baron's with her three Kings by her side.

Fate is book three and the conclusion to the Blackfang Barons series. I loved how Fawn's character grew and became stronger as the series progressed. From the writing to the intriguing characters and their relationships this is a fantastic conclusion to the series. And that ending was epic. I look forward to reading more books by these authors in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Overall I think this was such a good series. I think the only reason more people don't read it is just because of the covers. I just can't get over not liking them. I think this book has a really interesting plot and ya there were some points that I felt could have been left out of the book, but it was still really good. I loved seeing this group dynamic grow and how each man treated Jemma. So glad I read the series.

You will either hate or love this series. Definitely pay attention and read trigger warnings.
I read this as a complete trilogy. I'm glad that I did because I don't know if I would have continued the series if only reading first book alone. I'm not a fan of "Mafia" scenarios but I got caught by the characters. I actually would like more of this world, the new developing couples, clans, along with the future of the Barons.
