I really enjoyed this shifter series. I’m hoping it’s not the last we see of them. I am adamant that a shifter story should have the characters only being with their mates. That is exactly the case with this story. We finally get to see Logan get his happily ever after
-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-dual virgins
-no violence of a sexual nature
-epilogues 1 year and 11 years later

We finally get Logans story and it was fast pace and some steamy moments.
Brooklyn has a order from her evil step dad get info from the ranch to keep her snot nose brother safe.. ill be honest I felt bad for Brooklyn since her mom and bro are on the step fathers side.. so when she goes to the ranch her heart is conflicted because she meets Logan and boy her mind is even more conflicted but she doesn't give her step father any deets.
Logan is already head over heels in love and when he finds out what his mate told him he's going to make sure shes safe and taken care of.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, both virgins

Umm yeah this was a flop for me for sure.

Sadly this was a huge disappointment for me. I was looking forward to Logan’s book, he patiently waited while his brother’s all found their mates. But I did not feel the connection between him and Brooklyn at all. Her family finds out they had a shifter in the mom’s family tree a long time ago when her younger brother shifts into a tiger one day. Soon after her dad passes away, the mom wanting a shifter role model, hooks up with Rhys a very bad tiger shifter. He asks Brooklyn to spy on the Bowen ranch cause he wants it to run guns. He had killed Logan’s dad to take over the Crawford ranch. When Brooklyn arrives at the ranch Logan knows she’s his mate, but does not tell her. Then he makes it sound like he has found his mate but not connected with her yet, then kisses Brooklyn. That was just stupid, she leaves all upset because he kissed her. But her inner dialogue says it’s ok since she will never be kissed by someone so hot again, what? That apparently makes it ok to kiss another woman’s man? Rhys makes her go back the next day and Logan finally tells her she’s his mate, then they have sex. She should have confessed everything and asked for his help before having sex. When Rhys comes to get her Logan lets her go, on the way back home there is an altercation with Cameron and a bunch of tigers beat him and leave him in a ditch. Still she says nothing, then Rhys tells her he killed Logan’s dad and will kill all the Bowen’s too and take their ranch. At some point Brooklyn decides to help her mate, goes back to the ranch and confesses everything. Of course Logan forgives her and then Rhys and his posse of bad kitties show up. A fight ensues and Logan kills Rhys. Her mom finally realizes Rhys was a bad guy and they are all happy. Epilogues with a baby and many years later with more kids. Logan deserved a better mate than Brooklyn.

Forbidden Alpha (Alpha’s Obsession, #4) by Olivia T. Turner ⭐⭐⭐
HERO - Logan Crawford. Rancher and bear shifter. Tall, broad, and muscular with tanned skin, dark hair and eyes, and dark stubble.
HEROINE - Brooklyn Waters. Height-wise, is at least a head shorter than Logan. Full-figured with long wavy brown hair and light blue eyes.
OVERALL THOUGHTS - This was the final book in the Alpha’s Obsession series and like the ones before it, it was alright. Out of the 13 shifter titles she’s released so far (over three series), only three of them have really stuck with me leading me to the conclusion that I’m just not really into her shifter romances. There’s so many of them now, and they’re all so similar in formula (and heroes) that they run together. Adrian and Julian stood out in this series, though I couldn’t finish Julian’s story due to his insufferable heroine. Damon and Austin stood out in the Ridge Brothers series. I honestly can’t remember much of anything from the second series.
There was a hint in the epilogue of this one that suggests she’ll be moving on to a group of Kodiak bear shifters that have moved from Alaska to the general area this series is set. I’m not sure if I’ll read those, though, unless the plot descriptions really draw me in.
I guess I should say something more specific about this book since this is supposed to be a review. We come full circle as the tiger shifters from the first book make a reappearance, this time along with their big boss. More of Logan’s past is revealed, including something that not even he knew. The characters, the romance, and the conflict were all okay, but ultimately...forgettable.

This last installment of a series of grizzly shifters brings back the tiger shifter villains, led by Rhys, from earlier in the series, and I appreciate the closing of that story arc. Brooklyn, her mother, and brother end up living with Rhys after discovering that her brother is a tiger shifter. Brooklyn’s mom comes off as weak in the beginning, ignoring the verbal abuse that Rhys heaps in Brooklyn. Honestly, I understand that the mom and brother were dealing with their own issues, but it was difficult to have empathy for either of them.
Rhys is out to steal the ranch that Logan and his brothers live on and own, and sends Brooklyn there to covertly find information that will help Rhys plan an attack under the guise of looking for work. Brooklyn agrees to the subterfuge in an attempt to protect her brother.
There is a back and forth when Logan and Brooklyn meet as Logan (of course) recognizes Brooklyn as his mate immediately, but doesn’t tell her until the next day. Logan’s coy comments about meeting his mate are misconstrued by Brooklyn, causing some angst for a hot minute. I am not sure why Logan would do that, as he always seemed straightforward, but it is a minor quibble.
My biggest issue was that even after finding out that Logan is her mate and giving him her innocence, she doesn’t mention Rhys or come clean about why she is there. It is not until Logan is physically confronted by Rhys that Brooklyn mentions that he is her step-father. I am not a fan of duplicity in relationships, and I don’t understand why she didn’t say anything.
The book ends with the bad guys getting their comeuppance, and a HEA, but I didn’t find it as satisfying as I have other entries in the series. Overall, not my favorite, but it was good to catch up with the other brothers.

Wow so loved this about time Logan got his mate Brooklyn he was surrounded by his brothers and their mates when would it be his turn then she turned up looking for a job. They didn’t have any jobs at the farm but Logan wasn’t going to let her go away.
Brooklyn didn’t realise she was Logan’s mate so she ran off but
did go back the next day where Logan told her she was his. Brooklyn spent a great day with Logan only to find her step father waiting at her car her world came tumbling down she was meant to be getting info about the farm and how many shifters where living their as her step father wanted to take the Bowan brothers out and get their farm for his illegal gun running operation but she was not going to tell him anything.
Logan was worried with Brooklyn having to leave with her step father especially when Cameron told him about his encounter with them. Brooklyn turns up at the farm to tell them all what is going on also to tell Logan the truth about his father and what really happened.
When Brooklyn’s step father turns up at the ranch with his men all tiger shifters a fight starts the Bowan brothers fighting to keep their ranch and Logan to avenge his fathers death and also fighting to keep his mate safe she will always be his priority now he has her he will never let her go and now Brooklyn is wearing his mark everyone will know who she belongs to.

I absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK ... it's sad this is the last in this series but I know there will be plenty more shifter books coming out.... these two have a great instant connection and passion for eachother.. even though all the others found love first Logan never gave up..
In the end he was able to correct all the wrongs that were done to him and his family.
Brooklyn is made to go spy on the Bowen Ranch, having made to do this by her step father.
Her first incounter with Logan is instant attraction, she feels a connection to him feels safe.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Forbidden alpha is the fourth book in the ‘’alpha’s obsession’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Logan is a grizzly bear shifter that is eager to find his mate. In order to protect her little brother, Brooklyn has to do what her evil stepfather says. When she gets sent to the Bowen ranch, she meets Logan, will she go through with what she’s ordered to do?
The chemistry between Logan and Brooklyn is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked that Brooklyn was finally able to get through to her brother and then later, her mother.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

While I know all of her books with bear shifters have both parties with their v cards still intact, this book really made me question it for some reason. The fact that Logan tells her at one point when she's giving him a bj that this is how he likes it makes me question it. Like, how would you know if you've never had one before? Unless all these bear shifters do everything but the dirty deed with others before getting to their mate, it makes no sense. I get it's supposed to be all insta love and all but the guys never come across as virgins, even though they are supposed to be. I'm sorry but no amount of imagination is gonna make you the god of the tongue (if you know what I mean), but they always seem to be.
Aside from, I was looking forward to Logan's story as much as I was Adrian's and it was just... I don't know.. ok, I guess? The most amusing story out of the group was Julian's.

Family is whomever you choose, so choose well!
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with a bit of drama and suspense. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Rhys definitely received the comeuppance he deserved. It’s too bad that his buddies got away. Logan was more than ready to find his mate but didn’t know where to look. Brooklyn just wanted to be safe and away from her stepfather. The sparks flew between them when they met. Logan knew that Brooklyn was his mate. Brooklyn wished she was his mate. It didn’t take long for the chemistry between them to explode. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Finally Logan’s turn and what a turn! Logan is the last brother to be matted. He’s not a blood brother but a brother just the same. He’s longing for his mate and when his curvy mate shows up looking for a job on his ranch he knows just the job for her... a life long job of being his forever... but unfortunately his mate Brooklyn comes under false pretences sent by her evil stepdad, but once she sees Logan, feels Logan all over can you go through with the deception to save her family of will the mate bond pull win over her need to protect her family?

Finally...the long awaited story of Logan! I can most defiantly say I was not disappointed, I can promise OTT made the wait soooo worth it. From when I first met Logan in the beginning of this series I could not wait to hear his story and for him to find his mate. The only secret I will give out of this book is that it is SO FREAKING HOT! I don't want to give anything away you must read it for yourself. I will say this though...we do get a little tidbit about a new family of shifters that has moved town. So we may be finishing a series but we get to look forward to a new one!

Logan lost it all once his father and his home, his consolation was that he’d meet his mate and live happily ever after, but it doesn’t happen as quickly as he wants, almost at the point of desperation Brooklyn drives her car right up to his ranch. For Logan all bets are off she’s his but there’s a dark cloud looming.
OTT is one of my all time fav authors and every new release is an absolute pleasure to read bring on the next please.

Grizzlies, sizzling alphas and snowballs. Oh my!
Forbidden Alpha by Olivia T. Turner was a good read. Shifters are fun but a shifter that is a cowboy is over the charts hot! Logan is still waiting for a mate until he sees Brooklyn. Brooklyn finds the sexy cowboy irresistible. However she has a secret that could tear them apart before they ever begin. Olivia gives us awesome shifter fights, some really hot sexiness, OTT alphas and a HEA. The epilogue was fantastic! Kudos!!!

Brooklyn wants out from her crappy stepfather and his goons. Her mother remarried a shifter as her younger brother is a shifter. It’s not working out for her (she’s sane). So, it’s off to recon in bear shifter territory. More precisely, Logan, the best shifter that her stepfather is looking to get some payback on.
It’s hot and heavy in an instant with a touch of shifter drama in for good measure.

What a wonderful end of Alpha’s Obsession.
Great to get Logan’s story. Logan and Brooklyn are a perfect couple like the other couples in these series of stories. The tiger shifters that were beaten up by Cameron on the first book are back on this story. It’s the reason Brooklyn and Logan met. You have to read this wonderful story to find out what happened.

Worth The Wait ~
This story, I would call a love hate book. Hated the nasty step-father and his monster and monster crew. Loved the heat between L & B, and that when they finally told each other their big secret, oh WOW!! Loved that this story brought all the brothers into it. Excited at the hint of the possibility of an addition to this story, please!! Loved the epilogue. It was so perfect for their story!!

Favorite of the 4!
This was by far my favorite of the for books in the series. I am not sure if it was because I thought Logan was just somehow hotter than his brothers, or that I loved how Brooklyn tried to resist what she thought she was doing wrong. Everything doesn't always have to end with a nice neat bow, although this one did, AND it left the door open for the next series of sexy alpha shifters!

Ooo just love an Alpha Cowboy
This one was quick read and one I am surprised I had not read until now. Logan has always been the sweet one and I had been waiting to read his story, he deserved a fierce yet sweet as pie mate and boy did he find her.
I can’t wait to know more about how Brooklyn’s brother is doing and if he found a mate to complete him.
Well I am off to read about the Dixon Brother’s who are now leasing Logan’s ranch. Eeeee

Ok….so shifter books can be great!
So, while I’m not typically a big fan of shifter books, I have absolutely fallen in love with Olivia’s! This is the second shifter series I’ve finished by her and can’t wait to dive in to the Dixon’s books next! She has turned me. Lol I’ve tried to read other authors shifter books, but it just didn’t click for me. I’ll be honest and tell everyone that if you’ve felt the same, give Olivia’s series a chance….you’ll love them!

Logan is happy for his brothers that they have their mates and started families. He just wish his mate would come so he could be happy as well. When he sees a beautiful woman come onto the property his bear goes crazy and he knows she must be his mate. He just hopes he doesn't scare her away. Forbidden Alpha- What a great way to wind up the series. Logan has been searching for his mate and we finally meet her , but there are obstacles that make him forbidden. Can they find their way to each other? This is a must read but I highly recommend doing so only after reading the other books in the series due to mild spoilers.
