We were on a girls' holiday abroad. Fun, sun, sand, sea... and then he walked into the party. Oh heck! Carter Edwards was the hottest, sexiest, man that ever walked on God's earth. He had me from the moment our gazes meet across the room. He had eyes that made my toes curl. One thing led to another and I ended up in his hotel room. Whoa... what that man could do with his mouth... We were both American, but he may as well have been from another country since he lived hundreds of miles away from me. I told myself it would be just a holiday romance. I'd never had one of those before and it was time I got one under my belt. We'd have a good time together, then I'd return home with great memories. I couldn't have been more wrong. Things started to go wrong almost immediately. I went home with a broken heart. To my shock I found I'd come back with more than just memories. I thought I was doomed. Nothing worse could happen. Wrong again.. My colleagues were busily telling me that we had a HOT new CEO, they had all met him, I hadn't. And when I did, imagine my shock. It was him! My holiday fling. My baby daddy. And my new boss. What am I going to do now? Do I keep on pretending? Or do I tell him the truth?
I am a big fan of surprise babies. CEO's Secret Baby is one of those types of books. Carter and Leah have a LOT of chemistry all throughout this book. It is so hot that Carter even upends his world to find her. What I enjoyed the most is that Leah is no pushover. Even when she finds out she is pregnant she takes the time to get to know Carter and find out what kind of relationship they could have.
Carter is an alpha kind of man and is in charge of a multibillion-dollar corporation. He is very surprised when he finds himself in awe of a woman when on a business trip to Turkey. But when he goes back home and still can't get her out of his mind he is determined to find her and try a relationship out.
I enjoyed this slow romance with enjoyable characters.
The chemistry between Leah and Carter was explosive from the first moment they met. They were both American's abroad who ended up hooking up for a one night fling. This was not something that was normal for her but he was just too gorgeous to resist. Imagine their surprise when they returned home and he was her new CEO boss. Talk about drama and more drama. Add to that she was a soon to be baby mama. Surprises kept on coming. The book was well written and hard to put down once I started. The characters are well defined, likable and made for each other. What does she do? Does she tell him that he's going to be a baby daddy or does she keep that secret? No spoiler here so you'll just have to read and find out. You'll be glad you did as this is a great book that I read as an arc. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was so much better than I thought it would be from the title. I starts with Leah and her 2 girlfriends in Turkey on vacation. One night she meets Carter, a fellow American in Turkey on business. Their attraction is instant and intense. What was supposed to be a one night stand turns into a vacation fling. However, business calls and Carter needs to leave unexpectedly. A month or so later, neither of them can stop thinking about the other even though the have returned to the normal lives. Carter devises a plan to get back in to Leah’s life...books has a lot of ups and downs, intense attraction of the main characters, and much more that leads to a HEA ending. Just wished the ending wasn’t so rushed.
Why don't authors do their proper research? YOU CANNOT DO A HYSTEROSCOPY WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT!! WHY? BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BABY IN THERE. Seriously just Google it!
This was my first book by the author. While I enjoyed some aspects, the story lacked many elements that could have made it great, especially since I love the pregnancy trope.
Leah and Carter met in Turkey when she was on vacation and he was working. They were attracted to each other from the start. They spent the night together, and Carter wanted more. However, after he was late for dinner, Leah decided to part ways and focus on her vacation. After another encounter, Leah chose to give Carter another chance, so they spent most of their time together in Turkey until Carter had to leave early, and Leah didn't open up about her feelings.
A month later, Leah found out she was pregnant. After realizing Carter was the new CEO of her company, she initially tried to stay away but eventually decided to confront him and ask about his intentions. There was some tension at first, but after some time, they resumed their relationship. Leah still didn't tell Carter about the pregnancy, and I didn't like that he found out about it in the last chapters of the book.
Leah's dog was also pregnant, but she was mentioned only once and never shown again. I wanted to learn more about Leah's past and understand why it was difficult for her to let Carter into her life. I also expected to read more about Leah's pregnancy, but her condition was only mentioned a few times. By the end of the book, she was only three months pregnant, and by the epilogue, their baby was already one year old, and we didn't even get to read about any of those moments.
Leah and her besties were enjoying their well deserved vacation and nope she wasn't going to dwell on the fact she'd eventually have to endure another horrible car ride. The moment Leah spotted him she couldn't think beyond the fact he was gorgeous; the sexiest man on two legs that'll lead to a night of wild an wanton behavior and total reckless abandonment of any common sense and one hundred percent well worth it. However she couldn't stop herself from feeling like she'd totally screwed things up and she kept rambling on and on the same thing. However Leah's forced to acknowledge she's not suffering from a bad case of Montezuma's revenge but something completely different and totally unexpected. And when she's trying to deal with one shock only to be hit with another one at work. Yeah the last person she'd ever expected to see again was now the new head honcho and the guy she'd had quite a few hot moments with on vacation. But now they seemed to be waltzing around each other and then there's that moment where talking is the last thing that happens and more about feeling each other. However everything between them came to a screeching halt over a huge misunderstanding and now Carter didn't have a clue what brick wall just fell on him but now he needed to figure out how to fix things between them.

Leah and Carter are Americans traveling through Turkey when they meet one night at a bar. After a few drinks, Leah does something entirely out of character for her and spends a passionate night with Carter. Having no contact information, neither can find the other, but it doesn't mean they don't try. Carter finds her working in Indianapolis and decides to buy the company she works for to be able to see her again. Leah left Turkey, unknowingly pregnant, and is keeping her pregnancy a secret. She is quite stubborn and has an inner conflict over how much to trust him, and there are too many times that she runs from Carter. When they begin to work together, Leah is afraid that her colleagues will know there is something going on between them, and she pushes him away. Carter shows that she can trust him through his handling of the business and his employees. When Leah sees something shockingly painful that she misinterprets, she wants nothing more to do with him. But Carter has his limits as to how much of her stubborn refusal to communicate he can handle, and he may have finally arrived there. This is an enjoyable story and the writing is good, particularly the well-drawn characters who jumped from the pages.
This was the first book I read from Iona Rose and I loved this one so much, I already bought the second book. So Leah was in Turkey on vacation and she meets this hot guy at the bar, Carter. A one night stand of the hottest 🔥sex ever they couldn’t get enough of each other , so it became a week long affair. Even though Carter was supposed to be there for 3 days on his business trip he extended it to be with Leah. But they did live in 2 different states and Leah was really in way over her head. So they parted but not for long. Then how Leah figured out she was pregnant was hysterical and then Leah went back to work and guess who the new CEO of her company was. They broke up for a few minutes for a surprising reason and then I leave the rest of the ending to you. It was a fantastic book, filled with loads of hot 🔥sex , a great working relationship and a lot of fun and laughter 🤣. This book deserves way more then 5 stars and I recommend everyone reading this book.
Ah, the CEO/employee/millionaire trope combined with the surprise secret baby trope. You know it's going to be crazy. Well, actually...it wasn't as bad as you'd think. Carter legit wanted a relationship with Leah. Leah was the one having the issues. lol I guess the flip flop on intentions was a nice little twist. Don't get me wrong, she really liked him, but she definitely had some trust issues, though I wish those would have delved into a little bit more.
This wasn't my favorite Iona Rose book. However, it was very entertaining and very worthy of five stars. The chemistry was fantastic, and I was surprised with how much front-loading of their relationship was done before he even became her boss. It was different, and I'm always looking for a few twists here and there for this sub-genre and these trope because let's be honest, these plotlines have been played out to death across the board, every author, indie an trad published alike. And yet I keep reading them an loving them. I both love and hate being hooked on this CEO/boss-employee romance stuff. :-D
I have read so many of Ms. Iona Rose's publications, and, CEO's Secret Baby is right up there with the rest of her fantastic releases.
The chemistry between Leah and Carter is off the charts realistic. I, personally, have never had a 'one night stand', however the storyline is so believable and easily envisioned. Should you love riveting romance that has a hard one happily ever after, then this book is definitely for you. Find out what happens when you're faced with your other half but don't know it until it's almost too late. Can they get there? Or will each walk away with bitterness in their soul? I can honestly say, that, I was completely engrossed from cover to cover in this book.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of CEO'S Secret Baby in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this release as well as anything published by Ms. Rose.
Carter and Leah were so good together. Their chemistry was off the charts, they both had great personalities, and it was just a great story altogether. I really loved this book, however, just like Leah here, I felt a little cheated while reading it. Leah felt cheated for different reasons than my own LOL I was really hoping that the baby portion of the program would play a bigger role in the storyline, but it was quite the opposite. They get together and work on making that baby for about a third of the book. Then, they go their separate ways, they come together again by which point she knows she’s pregnant. That baby doesn’t get mentioned again until the second half of the second to last chapter. I’m only mentioning this because I love surprise/secret pregnancy books, and, since the baby is mentioned in the title of the book, I expected him/her to play a bigger role. Other than that, awesome story ❤️
Carter and Leah meet in Turkey and the connection is so strong that once they part ways they can't stop thinking about each other. A month later Leah finds out she's pregnant and it the idea of being a single mom hurts and scares her. When she goes into work she finds out there's a new owner and guess who it is...Carter. The chemistry is there and they both are drawn so deeply to one another only she can't bring herself to tell him the most important thing of all...she's pregnant!
Epilogue for me was terrible. Spoilers below.
How could Carter even think about being close to missing his child's 1st birthday. I also love a fathers bond with his child and there was none. Absolutely none. Which turned me off a bit of Carter tbh and I loved him until that point. The book didn't even express his feelings on the pregnancy only on Leah. That's what the book lacked for me.
I wasn't so impressed by the title or the start of the book when it seemed like it was about the hot chemistry between Leah and the extremely handsome Carter, and the advice of her single friends on how to handle a fling since she had no experience. It was when she returned home from Turkey without his contact info and found out she was pregnant a month later that the story became rivetting! Because Carter could not forget about her and knew where she worked and began to make plans to acquire the marketing firm she worked for so he could come to her city to spend time with her. The plot from there becomes rich as Leah continues to withdraw from him and return with apologies. Carter is a genius in both managing the new firm and managing his relationship with Leah. There is more than one climax to finally arrive at the HEA, becoming a recommended read!
The CEO’s secret baby grabbed me in from the word go and magically transported me to Turkey and thereafter the US. Leah goes with her girlfriends for a vacation to Turkey and finds herself doing something she’s not known for - going home for the night with an attractive stranger😳 Suffice to say, there is an attraction and chemistry between her and Carter and it grows as they spend more time together. Neither admitting they want more, they go their separate ways😢
After a month though, Leah and Carter both still can’t forget the other and when he arrives in her town - she’s shocked and has more than one surprise on her plate❣️A great steamy story that I loved from start to finish and had me rooting for the characters😍 I received an advanced copy via Booksprout and I voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
Leah and Carter meet while they are both overseas traveling. Sparks fly between them and they end the night together. Leah thinks she supposed to sneak out thinking he only wanted one night with her. However she was wrong he wanted to spend more time getting to know her. But when it comes time to leave Leah pushes him away thinking that they'd never last. Carter isn't ready to move on so he ends up buying the company she works at to be near her. Leah learns not long after being home that she's pregnant with Carter's baby. Will she tell him about the baby? Can they be together?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

A story of love with so many turns and tribulations that keeps you entertained until the last verse.
A heart of gold but hard to trust relationships. Leah was on vacation in Turkey when she met Carter Edwards who was in Turkey on business. While sitting at the bar and talking to her friends, Leah saw the handsome man who stole her breath and heart. Carter felt like he made eye contact with the beautiful woman he has ever seen. They ended up together at his hotel and the lovemaking was off the charts. The connection they felt for each other, but Leah thought he just wanted a one night stand. But Leah was so wrong about what exactly Carter wanted and it was her. The CEO’S Secret Baby is a beautiful love story with a good storyline. The book was good from the first chapter to the last chapter. This book is worth reading.
Carter and Leah have an intense reaction when they meet. They have a steamy hot night. Fortunately Carter is persistent. Leah keeps trying to run away from Carter but can't help but be drawn back to him. She goes back to Indiana. Carter decides to buy her company. She finds out she is pregnant just as Carter shows up to run her office. There is lots of drama around the creative teams pitching to clients. Their romance is outted in the office. Carter does a great job of supporting Leah while allowing her creative side to emerge. Leah has been hiding her pregnancy from Carter. This is a good read and I thoroughly recommend it.

Leah and her friends Tracy and Anne were on holiday in Turkey when they went to a club one night. There Leah say a handsome man looking at her as she looked at him. When they eventually met they went up to a private room to talk as the music was so loud. Then they went back to his hotel. Carter was there on business but extended his stay so he could spend more time with her. Then an emergency came up and he had to go home. Leah was disappointed but realised it was a holiday fling until a month later when she discovered she was pregnant. Leah kept running from Carter before he had a chance to explain anything. He even bought the company she worked for so they could be close. I’m not spoiling the rest only to say you will not be disappointed
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Leah and Carter met while they were both in Turkey. They have an instant attraction which leads to a lot of steam. They are both from different parts of the US and think they will never see each other again. After Leah gets home she finds that their time together resulted in pregnancy and Carter is her boss. These two cannot stay away from each other. If they can fix some misunderstandings they have a happy future in store for their family. I enjoyed the characters in this book. The storyline was well written also.

I quite enjoyed reading this entertaining secret baby romance & it exceeded my expectation. I found the plot to be well-written & interesting with some unexpected events. The growing chemistry between the two main characters (Carter & Leah) was engaging & filled with emotions. There is: friendship, some drama, mild intrigue, secrets, a one-night stand, discovery, misunderstandings, heartache, complications, indecisions, regrets, compromises, steamy scenes & a delightfully, satisfying conclusion.
Leah and Carter meet when they both travel to Turkey her with friends and he for work. They end up having a hot one-night stand and he ends up extending his trip to spend time with her but part ways going back to their homes. They both miss each other and a month later she finds out that she is pregnant but decides she can raise a baby by herself but at the same time Carter buys the company where she works because he misses her so he becomes her new boss. What will happen when she tells him that he is going to be a father?
Nice feel-good holiday romance. What started as a holiday tryst, ended up so much more serious than either Leah or Carter anticipated. When a guy buys the company you work for just to be near you, now that is a commitment if I ever heard one. The storyline is sweet, well written and steamy. Leah is left with a lifelong memory of her holiday, a baby. They get a lovely HEA, which they deserve. I enjoyed this easy-to-read feel-good novel and can recommend it to others to try.

Loved this! Leah and Carter meet while she is on vacation. Leah is not one for one night stands, but she cant resist Carter and one night turns into a week. She knows she must return to the real world and her job, and that mean no Carter. Carter is used to getting what he wants, and he still wants Leah. He definitely goes to extremes to see her again, and when he does he is in for his own surprise! this has a great story line and just enough drama and passion to keep you hooked! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.
I LOVED this boss romance book! This book has an original take on how Carter comes to be Leah’s boss and I am totally here for it! I loved Carter’s character. He is patient, passionate, and supportive. I also loved Leah. She has things to overcome but she tries and she’s amazing. I also loved the chemistry between these characters and the steam they produce! This was an amazing book and I can’t wait to read more by Iona Rose.

This is my first time reading with this Author. The story was very engaging and page turning for me. It’s a fairly tale kind, meeting the Hero in a vacation and heroine got pregnant. Hero decided to chase her in her hometown and their love story journey begins.
All through the book there’s occasional grammatical errors and using past tense on present. Describing her as “was” where it should read “she is” bothered me.
But I like the fest of the story, not too over the top that’s unbelievable. The story was believable.
The back and forth on this story is crazy! It is about Leah and Carter, they meet on a holiday in Turkey and have an amazing fling. This is where Leah starts to get a little crazy. There are so many underlying issues with Leah, but we don't really get to know why. And poor Carter and the will she won't she, not sure if he is a sucker or a saint....I definitely know I couldn't put this down!
