He ripped me from my life and made me his. Now he wants my help. But some sins can never be forgiven.
Matvei Morozov. A name that’s haunted my family for years. A whisper in the shadows. A monster in the darkness.
Now, the billionaire mob boss has claimed me as collateral. That means I’m his—until my father pays his debts. His to touch. His to bend. His to own.
But Matvei wants more than just me on my knees. And when he drags me to his mansion, I see what the don is hiding:
An innocent child who needs my help.
Matvei Morozov, the single dad? Nothing makes sense anymore.
He wants me to help him raise the boy. But the more I submit to what the don wants, the more pressing one question becomes: If I fall deeper into Matvei’s world… Will he ever let me go?
Nicole Fox writes smart, sexy mafia romance novels. She is a crazy cat lady in her late 30s with a coffee addiction, an overactive imagination, and a husband who somehow puts up with her impulsive need to keep buying new plants for their house.
Another good mafia story. A vigilante is causing problems for those corrupted people but especially for Matvei (Bratva)and his family. Now the new babysitter is not safe either. It’s a chase and a mystery to find out who this vigilante is and why he’s causing problems. During all this a relationship is developing between Matvei and his babysitter due to her father not being able to pay a debt. It was an exciting book.
I really enjoyed reading this excellent mafia romance that has a somewhat darkish undertone. The plot is well-written, suspenseful & full of good scene descriptions. I found the characters well-developed & interesting with their interactions & chemistry between them although I was not too impressed with the actions of the male character (a billionaire bratva boss, Matvei Morozov) towards the female character (Victoria) but he does redeem himself later on in the story. There is: a bratva boss (Matvei) is quite determined to look after his nephew (Nico) & makes an unusual decision when he comes into contact with a strong-willed young woman (Victoria) & daughter of a man (Daniel Elwood) who owes him money but things don’t exactly work out according to his plans. There is: a Morozov bratva crime syndicate, law enforcement, a vigilante/serial killer, twists & turns, intrigue, deceit, drama, suspense, abduction, threats, action, danger, enemies, conflict, violence, blazing gunfights, murder, rivalry, vengeful feelings, devious plans, manipulations, disagreements, defiance, distrust, confrontations, emotional turmoil, unease, complications, discovery, contentment, love, steamy scenes & a well-deserved happy conclusion.
This is a dark mafia romance. It may contain triggers for some people. This hook takes off right from the get go It onmy takes you a few chapters to get the clear picture of just exactly who Matvei is. A strong rich powerful mafia man who get what he wants and makes no apologies for it. Victoria has been locking with an alcoholic father and has plans to go to law school and get as far away from him as she can. But when her father ends up owing money to the wrong person will she pay his debt for hom . This book is a real page turner and has lots of twist and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Did I mention the chemistry between these two?? Your kindle just might melt out of your very hands.
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Bad boy….check Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! Can’t say I didn’t warn you. In this one you have a bratva crime syndicate, law enforcement, a vigilante/serial killer, twists & turns, intrigue, deceit, drama, suspense, abduction, threats, action, danger, enemies, conflict, violence, blazing gunfights, murder, rivalry, vengeful feelings, devious plans, manipulations, disagreements, defiance, distrust, confrontations, emotional turmoil, unease, complications, discovery, contentment, love and anything else you can name or think of trust me it is in this book just as the ones before. Victoria is a strong sexy woman and Matvei a billionaire bratva boss and truly alpha and takes what he wants, when he wants it no matter what’s/who is in his way. Victoria has plans for her life starting with getting away from her father who is an alcoholic that stays in trouble, she wants to go to law school. You can see where this is going her father ends up owing the wrong man and when he comes to collect he sees Victoria so will she bail her father out yet again, can these two learn to like each other and is there a HEA in all this for the two of them?
This is a thrilling action packed, page turner with secrets, lies, hate and a well-deserved HEA. The characters are well developed and the plot and story line are filled with twists and turns and revelations. It takes a while to like or even tolerate Matvei Morozov, his only redemption lies in his love for his nephew Nickolas. The way he treats Victoria emphasizes his ruthless cold unforgiving and at time cruel nature. We see a small sliver of redemption in him towards Victoria in the form of the glimpses of the emotions and attraction he is battling, however the actions he takes to combat his feelings puts him squarely back into the unredeemable camp. I can sympathize with Matvei on some level, he has a orphaned nephew, just lost his brother and sister in law, there is a vigilante trying to kill him, his brother's killer is still out there and the Albanians is not playing game, and to top it off Victoria is always on his mind, making him lose focus.
Matvei acquires Victoria as part payment of her fathers debt to him, as he needs her to take care of Nicolas his 5 year old nephew who just lost his parents. Victoria always taking care of and saving people allows herself once again to be taken advantage of this time for the innocent 5 year old but I liked that she had some steel in her by standing her ground at times for what she believes in. The attraction between her and Matvei is intense and scorching and she does not stand a chance against the more experienced Matvei as she slowly falls in love. Great read that keeps you guessing till the end.

This is the first book I have read from Nicole Fox and I have to say I am hooked. I will definitely be going back and getting the first 2 books of this series so I can read more about the Bravta Organization.
Victoria is a planner, someone who is very OCD about things in her life and wants it to stay that way. She wants to go to law school and get away from the things holding her back (namely her father). While she loves her father, her is an alcoholic and tends to get into trouble and Victoria is always having to bail him out. She is a loving, caring person and regardless of the situation, she doesn’t want to see her dad hurt.
Matvei is the leader of the Morozov organization. He is not known as a nice man and is your typical mafia leader. He threatens any and everyone and doesn’t think twice about it – he is definitely not a good man.
When Matvei and Victoria are thrown together (of course Victoria is bailing her dad out once again!), you have to wonder if there will be a romance between the two – they do not like each other and do everything possible to avoid the other. The only thing bringing them together is Matvei’s nephew Nico.
There is action, drama, tragedy, passion and romance in this story. It was enough to keep me up late into the night so I could finish the story. It does take some time to start liking Matvei’s character, but in the end, you do see he does care about family.

Matvei, a ruthless Bratva Leader and Victoria's Lover. by sewsummore
When her father is beaten for missing payment on the debt he owes, Victoria volunteers to pay the debt. It was when Matvei needed a woman to care for his nephew after his parents had been killed. Nicholas was the last member of his family, and Matvei loved the boy dearly, but a bratva leader's life does not allow him to be there all of the time, and he needed a woman's touch. This was a heartbreaking story of a young boy orphaned who desperately needs love. Victoria's heart was filled with love for the young boy, and as time passed, there was love for his uncle as well. Mate believed love was an illusion. He found Victoria's presence in his home a distraction that he needed to ignore but could not. When Victoia is kidnapped, Matevi realized that what he felt for Victoria was more than lust but deep and enduring love. I have read several books by this author and enjoyed them all. This book provoked emotions of compassion and love, Matevi may have been a ruthless leader, but he loved his nephew and fell deeply in love with the woman who bought joy into both his and Nicholas's life.

There was not a lot to like about billionaire bratva boss, Matvei Morozov. Arrogant, brutal, callous, he only cared about himself, his brother, his sister-in-law, and his nephew. When his brother and his wife are murdered by a "vigilante", his nephew is left an orphan and Matvel fights for custody. Because of his reputation as a criminal, that seems to be an uphill battle. Victoria is the daughter of a alcoholic man who owes him money but when an enforcer goes to their house to collect payment, the vigilante shows up, murdering the enforcer. Things go from bad to worse for Victoria and her father when Matvel confronts them, accusing them of being in cahoots with the vigilante. Matvei demands Victoria work off her father debt by becoming the nanny for his nephew. The story moves quickly, there are tons of twists and turns, and action. Matvei and Victoria have sizzling chemistry that surprises them both. I loved the appearance of some of our past anti-heroes and love the interconnection with these books. Another 5 star read!! I received an ARC and this is my honest review.
I was totally captivated by this addictive page turner, it’s very well written, the story and characters are well developed and so likeable, I loved watching the dynamics change and evolve between Matuei and Victoria, and the chemistry between them was explosive. The story has plenty of suspense with twists and turns you don’t see coming, not to mention deception and betrayal. Matuei Morozov has witnessed devastation and heartache, all he wants is revenge and protect what’s his, whatever way he can, family is everything. Victoria is intent on saving her worthless father, although he has never been there for her, she can’t stand by and see him punished further, with his debts mounting, her personal sacrifice seems the only way out, could Matuei be her redeemer or executioner??? Could they learn from each other?? Please read this excellent mafia romance book, you won’t be disappointed. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.
Matvei is another hot, ruthless and confirmed bachelor mafia Don. He puts the Russian in Russian Roulette. No one crosses him or his own. No one questions him. Attack him and expect the be attacked equally. Mess with those he loves, and expect to die.
He acquires Victoria as payment on a gambling from her drunk father. He needs a nanny for the 5 year old in his care.
This story had all the mafia high points, but what it did so well was having Matvei be so unfeeling and imperious in his dealings with Victoria, but giving very subtle glimpses to the heart within him. Victoria had just the right amount of stubbornness to get herself in trouble, but not appear childish or annoying.
I liked the overall story especially who the “enemy” was. It was a creative idea to begin with but deliciously unpredictable. I am always trying to figure out who the bad guy is and this one really fooled me. Well done!

Matvei Morozov has had a rough night only to be complicated more with having to take care of his nephew and bring him into his home. That is enough of a challenge, but now he needs to take care of him and find the proper care for him while he is working.
Victoria finds herself in a situation with her dad owing money to the Bratva, but when Matvei wants her in return for payment. In order to protect her dad, she agrees, but she doesn't know what she is getting into until she sees it and lives it. Can it be that bad? She needs to protect Nico as much as possible!!! But is falling for the boss a taboo thing? He is falling for the nanny, but can he truly be hers?
This story is a great addition to the series and has everything you want/need in a book including murder, mystery, suspense, twists and turns, love, lust, romance, danger, drama and so much more!!!! You will definitely enjoy this book!!! I can't wait for more and more. I received an ARC of this book from the author.
This is an interesting book. Matvei Morozov is the head of the Morozov Bratva. He is dedicated to the business, with no interest in relationships. Victoria Elwood is a 22 year old woman with a deadbeat father. He has a gambling addiction and a drinking problem. He borrowed money from the Bratva and is continuously late making payments, even though Victoria gives him money to pay them. Matvei's brother and sister-in-law are killed by a crazy vigilante, leaving Matvei with his 5 year old nephew to raise. Victoria offers herself as a nanny to repay her father's debts. The story gets complicated, with their attraction, the battle to adopt the child, the vigilante and Matvei's obsession with Victoria. The bonus epilogue is very sappy, and Matvei is really too changed to be believable. Also, the weekly random visits by child services stop without any explanation. I still enjoyed the book and recommend it.
Another fantastic book by Nicole Fox! You really can't go wrong with her Mafia stories. I absolutely loved Sins He Taught Me. Matvei and Victoria were perfect for each other. I love the slow burn romance and that Victoria didn't just fall in love instantly because Matvei is gorgeous. I love that they have to work for it. Nicole Fox really knows how to write intriguing characters. You get so invested in them that you can't stop reading till the end. Both Matvei and Victoria has such interesting stories and heartbreak before they even meet. Then they have to work though all these emotions to find their happiness. I'm not a huge fan of kids in books but Niko was a cute addition and really added to the story. The twist at the end was a huge surprise! The whole story was exciting and fast paced. I highly recommend!! Voluntary review of an ARC
Nicole Fox delights us with another heart stopping Mafia romance. Matevi Morozov has just lost his brother and sister-in-law. He’s now left to take care of his nephew Nico. How in the world is this gonna work? He’s ruthless, filled with darkness and Nico needs someone caring and nurturing. Victoria’s dad owes Matevi money that he will never be able to pay. So Victoria offers herself as payment. She’s perfect in every way. Smart, sassy and Nico loves her. But how will Matevi stay away for his new nanny? Their chemistry is explosive and their relationship is complicated. And Matevi has a threat lingering closer than he could ever imagine. When Victoria is taken will he be able to save her? But she is the only woman he wants and loves. “I voluntarily received this arc book for an honest review”

Ms. Fox writes excellent mafia romances, and this one is exceptional. It brings us Matvei Morozov and Victoria. Matvei's life is turned upside down with the death of his brother and sister in law. Because of that, he is now left to raise their son Nico, which he has no idea how to do. Victoria's father owes Matvei a large sum of money, so she offers to help pay off his debt, which Matvei agrees to. Victoria becomes Nico's nanny. I loved how Victoria was not shy about giving Matvei the "what for" when he was rude and offensive. The line, "fine line between love and hate", serves this book well. Victoria hated, and yearned for Matvei, until they both revealed their want for each other. There is a murderer on the loose, with his sites on Matvei so there are some twists and turns to this book. I HIGHLY recommend this story. I did receive an arc for an honest review.
Victoria, to pay off the debt that her father owes to Matvei, head of the Bratva, offers to work for him. Matvei puts her to work as a nanny for his nephew Nikolas. Nikolas was orphaned after a killer murdered his parents. Matvei has many things to deal with: the social services that aren’t completely convinced that he is the best guardian for Nikolas, the war with the Albanians, take revenge on the murderer of his little brother and wife, the well-being of Nikolas, who suffers from nightmares after the dead of his parents, and the immense attraction she feels for Victoria. Victoria fears Matvei at first, but she is completely devoted to Nikolas, and so little by little, she begins to make room in her heart for Matvei as well. Although is a surprise the identity of the murderer I expected a little more action and suspense.
This is the third book in the Bratva Crime Syndicate and probably my favorite. We meet Victoria and Matvei. He is the ruthless Don whose whole world starts to implode after the death of his brother and sister in law by a vigilante leaving him to care for his nephew. Victoria's father owes Matvei a lot of money. Victoria is taken to pay off her father's debts and provide care for Matvei's nephew. Their situation is strained with Matvei wanting nothing to do with a relationship even though he is drawn to Victoria. As the vigilante closes in chaos ensues. This story was fast paced, thrilling and full of redemption.

This is the 3rd book in this awesome series and is Matvei and Victoria’s story. Matvei is a dangerous and ruthless mafia leader, and Victoria is the daughter of an alcoholic and she has dreams of getting as far away from her father and getting into law school. When Victoria’s father owns money to the Bratva, Matvei wants Victoria as payment as he needs a nanny to look after his little nephew. This is a well written dark and intense story, which has complex characters, an intricate and in-depth storyline, and is filled with drama, suspense, intrigue, twists, action, danger, violence, deceit, lies, emotional turmoil, and is a steamy and all-consuming masterpiece. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Matvei Morozov is a leader in the Bratva. He's tough, driven and dangerous and after he loses his brother, a father. Luckily for him, Victoria's father owes him and threatening her into nannying his emotionally lost little nephew is easy for a ruthless Don. She fears him as much as she is drawn to this hard man and Nikolas. He shouldn't want the beautiful woman in his home, but she is everything he never thought he'd have, First, he needs to find the vigilante who's loose on the streets before he causes all out war.

This is the third book in the Bratva series. This is the third book that I have read and it is as good as the others if not a little bit better. I really was impressed with the characters and their motivation for the actions that they took. This book has secrets, betrayal, action and suspense. Victoria and Matvei interaction seemed smooth and flawless. The plot line is something that I really enjoyed. It hooked me from the beginning and kept me there until the end. What a great book. I see this is book three of three but I hope there is more to come.

The story has action, drama, passion, tragedy, twist and turns, and a killer. This is a slow burn romance not an instant love. Matvei just lost his brother and sister in law and now he is left with their son Nico to raise. Victoria's father owes Matvei large sums of money so Victoria offers to help pay it off. Victoria becomes Nico's nanny. I love how Victoria isn't scared of telling Matvei just how it is. Finally their attraction is revealed and they admit that they want each other. They still have to be careful as there is someone that wants to kill Matvei. I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the third book in the Bratva Crime Syndicate series and it did not disappoint. Matvei and Victoria meet when her father owes a debt he cannot pay. Matvei takes advantage of her offer of repayment to get help with Nico. This story is full of suspense, danger, drama, lust and finally love. Expect some darkness from this brutal yet sexy man. They have enough sparks to set the pages on fire. He and Victoria are perfect for each other.

This book will keep you up wanting to finish it. Victoria is a strong woman who helps her dad get out of jams all the time. Unfortunately she was taken by Matvei, a very bad mafia guy, to once again help her dad. Knowing he isn’t good she desperately wants to escape that is until she sees a little boy living there too. What can she do to help this boy...if anything ? Will she escape ? Will she kidnap the boy ? Will her and Matvei fall in love even though they despise each other ?

At first, I wondered if this was going to be a romance! Matvei and Victoria don't get off to a good start. Matvei threatens to kill both her and her father. Victoria is scared of him. But in spite of all that, they still fall in love. The story was a little slow to start, but once I got into it, I stayed up way too late to finish. Matvei is hard to like in the beginning, but he won me over by the end of the book. I loved how strong a character Victoria was as well.
I received an advance copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love Nicole Fox. All of the books I have read of hers are dual point of view, which is my favorite writing style. Matvie is on the war path of revenge and he also needs someone to look after his nephew. Victoria is not part of Matvie's revenge plot, but she is in his path and becomes an integral part of Matvie's life. This book kept me guessing and was a really exciting read. Cannot wait for the next Nicole Fox book.

Wow! Just Freaking WOW! I don't know how she does it but Nicole Fox brings her books to life, like no other! I have always been able to picture in my head the stories I read but... With this author I can actually smell things like the gunpowder and blood after a shoot out,or the man of the house when he steps out of the shower in a cloud of steam!🔥🔥🔥🔥 Whew! I have to admit I keep waiting for a average book from this girl but I'm starting to think it may never happen, when I see this author's name with a new release I know I will be a😁😁😁😁📚🐛
