What a truly epic beautiful love story.
Autumn meets Rocco when he comes into the art gallery she works in one night and wants to buy a painting by her. She is intrigued and mystified by the beautiful blonde man who makes her feel things she has never felt before. Who is he?
This book had it all. A love story with many twists and turns. It kept me guessing until the end. It was very well written and spicy. I didn’t want it to end. So different from her other books but this one struck a cord with me.

STORY:
I actually liked this story. It was like a birthday gift. You know your birthday is coming, but you don’t know what the gift is, and you are excited to unwrap it. You have to be ok and game for something different. That’s all I will say on the mystery of this book without giving too much away. While reading this book, I am coming up with all various scenarios on who Rocco is. The author paints him very mysterious and his whole demeanor was so hypnotizing towards Autumn and even me.
As much as I love this book, I felt that some of beginning dragged on for me as it was very detailed. Now, I sound like an oxymoron for this, but although I felt the beginning dragged a bit, most of the details were needed as the author was laying out the foundation for certain key moments. Rocco’s and Autumn’s love story for me, up to a a particular point, got better with each chapter. I also love the music selection on some chapters. I clicked and sing.
CHEMISTRY:
I am still very new to this author, however, for me, the way she writes a sex scene is steamy. It’s what I always read, but for some, it’s the way they write it that makes you say, dang. So for Rocco and Autumn, dang. I like the way Rocco was so enthralled with Autumn. It reminds me of a specific series, but if I say, it would be a giveaway.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS
A lot of interesting characters that brought this story together. But there is no one that stood out that makes you want to see follow-up book.
Overall, a likable read, slow burn that left me anxious and anticipating what next. The characters’ chemistry was good and it gave me a very sweet ending.
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

Riveting
Just dive straight into this one! From the beginning you will want answers, and slowly they unravel. While waiting, just enjoy the amazing chemistry and sexyness of Rocco. I don’t say you will fall in love with him too quickly, it will be a slow burn too. This story is unique and will have you putting everything on hold just to reach the end. 4.5 stars

This has got to be one of the best books I've read by Georgia. Completely gutted and thrown for a loop. I sat down and read this in one sitting biting my nails. Be prepared and have your tissues ready. I had a steady stream of tears in a couple of spots. I promise you won't be disappointed with this book. A love so strong it lasts for eternity. Gah! I want more of Autumn and Rocco. Just one more chapter in the end.
Rocco and Autumn's love is so powerful and passionate. The whole time reading this I kept thinking of the lyrics from Elvis Presley's song, "Can't Help Falling in Love." Especially the section "...Take my hand, Take my whole life too, For I can't help falling in love with you."

A true love story. Autumn and Rocco will send butterflies all a flutter inside you. Georgia yet again improves with each book. You can tell this one is going to be an epic and an unforgettable scenic ride. I felt like I was getting to enter their lives, see them bond and hold on through so much and enjoy the 63 years of it.
I will say that before you get comfortable, get lots of tissues and a few paper towels to clean off your reader from the tears that will shed. Can't get over how beautiful of an intense love these two have.

The ART of love. COUNT me in!
This was a superb read! Whilst reading I could visualise all the fast paced scenes, like a movie. The path of true love never does runs smooth, and The Other Side of Midnight is a testament to that, with a twist!

Disturbingly sweet
Not Georgia's normal writing style, however once I started this hauntingly sad story of Autumn, the talented artist, and her chance meeting with Rocco, a secluded and reclusive man, I couldn't put it down until I finished. Lots of surprises.

Rocco and Autumn have an emotional rollercoaster of every feeling there is as they are granted an unexpected HEA. Ms. Georgia Le Carre sure had me completely engrossed throughout this absolutely incredible release.
Count Rocco Rossetti is everything the average person is not. Sure, anyone can be arrogant, but this gorgeous man does it with style. Autumn DeLaney has only Sam (BF) in her life, so is there room in this feisty woman's heart for more? While moving to and working in a brand new town, this artist finds herself painting and trying to further her craft in her spare time. Little did these two realize how after a chance meeting, at the art shop, their lives would intertwine so much, and alter their well-balanced world. This is a dark and emotional romance book that draws you right in.

She is alone in the world except for her best friend Sam. The pair had been inseparable since age fourteen and they don’t go a day without talking. It was during college when Autumn lost her parents in an accident, and Sam’s friendship became even more important afterwards. Life took them in different directions six months ago, though. Sam went to Atlanta to further pursue her studies in computer tech, while Autumn moved to Hunter’s Cross to work on her painting. She works in an art shop in town as the shop assistant, and after hours often finds herself staying late into the night painting in the back room.

Spoilers & Trigger Warning (suicide)
So I really liked the first part of this book and the dark mysterious side of it. It kept me guessing and wanting to find out more. But then just over half way through the book it did a nose dive and I think the author just tried to fit as many different things into the last 10% of the story without actually ever explaining them or what the purpose of that being in the story was.
Rocco is obviously a vampire and when he first meats Autumn she hates him because he seems wealthy (for all of .2 seconds)..... until she finds out he’s loaded and then she’s totally fine with him.
Then she finds out that the vampires keep all of these people in an underground city as living blood banks for them to feed off of and all of the people have to wear leather cuffs (like cow tags). Autumn wants Rocco to show her the people who live underground and when he takes her down there everyone is acting like robots (book never says why) even though the whole time Rocco is telling her that the people love it there and are happy. Then while there; Autumn goes to the restroom and meets two girls who aren’t wearing leather cuffs and tells them they must or they will be fed upon..... it’s never talked about why only those two girls aren’t wearing leather cuffs and why they are the only ones not robotic.
THEN.... Autumn finds out she has to be part of a ritual to save all the vampires and she wants to because if she doesn’t Rocco will die.... but then she doesn’t want to... BUT then she does. (Major whiplash). So during the ritual she finds out that she’s really part Gypsy lady and she dies during the ritual only to be shown a prophecy that is never actually talked about.... it’s just said it’s horrible and she needs to go spread the word around to all her friends (but not too many otherwise it will cause a panic).
Then she is told she will live for 63 more years and they will come back and take her spirit away then.
So fast forward she’s got kids and has lived 63 more years and her spirit floats away one day. Rocco then decides that’s a good time to commit suicide by slitting his wrists in the tub. WTF????
Seriously the only reason this book has 1 star is because the beginning is good. It would have been so much better had the author not tried to fit every freaking genre into the last 10% of the book.

The moment Autumn is caught in his sights she knows that he will have the power to consume her and the ability to destroy her if he didn’t reciprocate her almost obsessive love. Draw to one another through the medium of art Rocco seems to be running from the ghosts of his pasts whilst struggling to admit that she may be the answer to his prayers. Autumn is jaded by her circumstances and wary of letting anyone in but fate has something else in store for her...

Georgia Le Carre did a wonderful job on this story, The Other Side Of Midnight had a strong well written plot that was packed with many emotions. Rocco and Autumn were strong characters, their journey was an emotional rollercoaster, they had many ups and downs but they were fighters. They were meant for each other, the connection between them was strong, they were good for each other.
I enjoyed this story, it was great. I'd suggest reading the story.

I love this author’s talented writing style and creative story telling. No spoilers in this review because you will enjoy the journey of Rocco and Autumn’s beautiful unconventional and unique love story without knowing the details in advance.
Suffice it to say you are in for a treat! Even with an ending that could be controversial, the author
had me convinced that it was the HEA right for them!

I loved this this! Yes, it may start off a little slow but is soon builds to where you are assuming what is going on, only to have some twists and turns and surprises popping up that keep you wanting to flip pages. Autumn wants to be an artist and her quiet little town and job are the perfect place to do that. Her simple routine is disturbed when the Count comes to the galley to buy a painting after hours. Their attraction is immediate and strong, but Autumn keeps her distance for the moment. Their tale is filled with danger, desire and passion....so good! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.

Georgia Le Carre never ceases to amaze me with her writing talent. Autumn and Rocco's story blew me away. What an intense love story with plenty of twists and surprises. The characters are amazing, well developed, strong and likable. The story line has lots of emotion so grab some Kleenex because you'll definitely need them. I couldn't put this book down once I began. So grab a comfortable spot and your favorite drink. I read an arc via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to write a review.

This story was so incredibly written. I could visualize every scene and all the characters. I felt every emotion as the words enveloped my imagination and seared my heart and soul. I have to say it again...this story was Absolutely Beautiful and deserves so many more stars. What a fantastic literary experience!

This deliciously tempting read had me totally consumed. A cleverly crafted combination of mystery, twists, emotions, drama, intensity, heat, danger and romance. Autumn and Rocco really drew me into their world and the connection, chemistry and affection they shared was beautiful. It melted my heart and had me swooning. I am posting an independent, impartial review.

Have yet again read another type of book I swore I never would but it sneaked up on me. Thinking it was a romance (it is) I plodded on to get quite the surprise. Even though I would not normally read this type of book, it was very well done and very well written (Georgia Le Carre after all!) and held my attention. Was very relieved to find it ended in an HEA!

I’ve read many books by this author and this one will take you on a twist here and turn there. Very different from other books which to me was good. Autumn and Rocco were great characters and the story was told well and kept you wanting more as time went on. I personally felt that it was an enjoyable read. I received this book via Bad Boy Update and this is my honest opinion.

I like romance and especially anything Georgia Le Carre writes. Even though I read paranormal and time-travel occasionally, this book wasn't exactly my cup of tea. But it did have a 'happy ever after' ending that was quite satisfactory, except..? Whoops, no spoilers! I volunteered this review from an ARC from Bad Boy Update.

A love story that knows no bounds. Georgia loves to push the boundaries and she certainly has with this book. Of course her stories don’t go without surprises and no spoilers in this review. You instantly have an attraction to the leads in the story of Autumn and Rocco. Their love is tested beyond all else. Will they live through it. You’ll have to read the riveting book. Enjoy! I did.

The author grabs the reader’s attention right from the very first page and the story continues at a brisk pace. Lots of suspenseful moments and an unusual mystery to solve. There is great character development for our hero, Rocco, and our heroine, August. This book has a lot of angst and I was in tears a few times. The plot gets a bit convoluted towards the end and it feels as if the author is trying to tie up too many different ideas at once. Things improve by the end and there is a lovely epilogue.

Beautiful and Heartwrenching
No spoilers! Rocco and Autumn are fated lovers on a strange journey that both has an end and no ending. Sorry if that's cryptic but spoiling this for future readers would be a shame. Suspend your belief and take a chance on this book.

Autumn is a poor artist and Rocco Rossetti is anything but. He’s a blond bad boy, who wants her painting and her, too.
A little bit dark, some twists and turns.

his one will knock your socks off. This is one he'll of a story. And you won't see it coming. So many emotions. These two people love so deeply. It will make you cry so do have tissues handy. Loved it
