Synopsis for… Chance Encounter With Love Second Chance Series (story # 4) Ashton Randolph married the love of his life. He was happy and thought his wife was, too. While showering her with love and affection, he also granted her every wish. So, why after ten years of marriage does she file for divorce? When did she stop loving him? Rejection. Heartbreak. Maybe starting out fresh in a new town was not a bad idea, at least that was what his uncle had been preaching. What did he have to lose? Charitha Arnold life’s aspirations were simple… love, marriage, and children. Soo, she married her high school sweetheart, but three years later he decided he no longer wanted to be married, at least not to her. Devastated. Heartbroken. All her dreams came crashing down. One would think she had a sign written across her face that said Pick me, I’m easy! A fortieth wedding anniversary brings these two together. Can they get pass all the drama and heartaches they’ve endured and give each other a chance?
Man I have waited patiently for this story and it was well worth the wait. It is always good to revisit the town of Blackmore and get reacquainted with the residents. The story had a good flow even with a touch of extra-ness. There was even a special moment that I enjoyed 😉. If you have not read the Second Chance series and you like to read true romance between mature adults please check it out.

I absolutely love a second chance love story. To get a second chance to find true love again is extra sweet. I liked Ashton and Charitha's story. His failed marriage to his sleazy ex-wife did not cloud his views about love. Charitha, conversely, had not had the best luck in love either. The small-town image was easy to see how it could be refreshing to an outsider. Everyone knowing your business, not so lovely. Overall, this story was a very good thing.
