Sentenced to life in prison when they committed no crime...Promising a new life with a perfectly matched alien mate, a bogus matchmaking agency diverts women to Soliv Four Incarceration and Detention Center Enterprises. Angie was one of those women.

Sentenced to life on a prison world when they committed no crime, Tomak won Angie in a deadly game.

Management runs the prison for the money they make by broadcasting the fights and gang rivalries in one endless reality show. They fuel the conflict by adding innocent women into the mix.

Now Tomak must fight to keep his mate. If he refuses, the warden will send them to the underground mines which is Soliv Four’s version of hell. There must be a way out. They just need to find it.

This book contains explicit sexual situations, violence and possible triggers and is intended for individuals over 18 years old.

Soliv Four de Clarissa Lake Serie Szeqart Prison Planet Series Libro 2

Argumento:

WTF! No podía creerlo!

If you downloaded this from the BookFunnel Giveaway (Alien Mates / FREE Science Fiction Romance from your favorite sci-fi/fantasy and paranormal romance authors), be aware that it is not a "book"... it's a sample.

Another one for my "underhanded giveaway tactics" shelf.

There's no "sample", "chapters x-x", or "preview" on the cover or in the blurb/synopsis. When you download the file, there's also nothing in the file name to indicate that it's not the full book. When authors participate in these Giveaways with samples, they (the decent ones, at least) will give you a heads-up in one or more of these three methods.

On a related note, some authors also try to sneak samples into Giveaways that are specifically for full books only. If you ever see that happen, make sure you report it to the Giveaway creator/organizer.

Angie and Tomak

Angie thought she was signing up for a matchmaking service, only to discover that instead, she was to be a prize in a horrific game on a prison planet.
Tomak and his team of commandos were sent to prison for a crime they didn’t commit. They play the games they have to, but only as far as they want to. When he sees Angie, he knows she’s his fated mate.
A sadistic prison warden, and a prison full of dangerous criminals is no place for her, but what can he do?

This is the first book in a series, and is more erotic romance than sci-fi romance.
The gladiatorial games on the prison planet are horrifying, and very violent, and a lot of the story that wasn’t sexytimes, was about the violence they faced.
The background story, however, is a good one. What placed everyone there, and what they plan to do next is definitely something I’m intrigued to find out!

Recommended for fans of erotic sci-fi romance, or fans of sci-fi romance with a lot of sexytimes!

Angie was just trying to have a better life, Earth is overcrowded, and she just lost her job. It would have been down hill from there, so she decided to sign up for a matched alien mate. Then ended up on a prison planet, with aliens fighting each other for females. Luckily Tomak spotted her, and is willing to protect her, and keep her for his. Can he win her? And keep her safe from the dangers of the others in the prison? I enjoyed their dangerous romance, and wonder how Tomak's team goes about finding their loves.

This was a very good book, that now has me craving more... Very well written, full of action and suspense. The prison story was so well written that I felt like I was there.
Poor Angie, looks for a better life for herself and ends up in prison. Poor Tomak, abandoned by his government on a prison world... Or was he....
I can't wait to see who is next.

I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily and honestly leaving this review.

Solid Foir

When I read the blurb about this book I didn't realize that the story would end the way it did and be continued in another book. I dislike books like that and in most cases I don't bother getting the next book regardless of how well I enjoyed the book. In this case I'll have to do some serious thinking about continuing to the next book. I enjoyed this book but don't like the fact that it's continued in another.

Madness

I almost hated to give this one 5 stars because of the storyline. That was some real messed up stuff happening on the prison planet! How sad that it is totally believable that this kind of corruption could exist. I admired Torak and Angie for their cohesiveness. The world building was amazing. The primary characters are well developed and it’s definitely worth the read.

Sexy and full of violence

This was an interesting read. The concept was intriguing and entertaining and the characters were believable and easy to relate to. I prefer my alien romance to be more alien than the ones in this series but it wasn't a deterrent either. I definitely got hooked on the storyline and will be reading more to find out what happens next.

The action starts at the very beginning and never stops. What was suppose to be a solution to a problem, became a nightmare. The two main characters are soul mates and their feelings for each other is quite evident, despite the ever present danger. Warning: this story continues in the next book.

Really good

I don’t generally like prison planet stories. But this is more like a gladiator story. Strong main characters. Good world building. Although it isn’t a cliff hanger. It is clear the story continues. I can’t wait to read it.

Fun Read

It was interesting that this story had a little different slant on it than a lot of the other books out there. I will start the next one in a few minutes.

Very good story. A lot going on and has for a long time. What they have to go through. No one should have to. Of course I liked the ending and can't wait to see what happens next.
