Ally loves to write about hot alpha male shifters. The sexier, the better. When she's not lost in her fantasy world or hanging out with her own alpha, you might catch her wearing heels with a glass of wine in hand and a bag of chocolate in her lap.
Ally wants all her characters to have a happily ever after, but sometimes the long journey to get there is the best part!
Second chance romance filled with angst.. 4 stars!
I loves this book so much more than I thought I would. There was so much emotions and heartbreak that pulled me into the story of Holt and Maggie immediately, and I didn't want to stop reading.
However, there were a couple things that kept me from fully immersing myself in the story. First off, there were so many typos/grammatical errors that they actually distracted me from the plot. I usually try to just skip overs typos (because they happen), but there were too many in this story to ignore.
I also would have loved for there to be more DANGER in this novella. The title made me believe that Holt was going to protect Maggie from *something*, but she was never kidnapped or hurt beyond her initial scrap that brought Holt back. Other than that, I really enjoyed this story, and I'm glad I finally picked this one up ♡
Sorry I wasted my time. Starts of interesting then just goes nowhere with little story. These two have sex and mate before any answers are given. Then it is sex, sex and more sex then a quick conclusion. Read through Kindle Unlimited.
Spelling errors aside, constantly trying to figure out perspective on internal and external dialogue, made the story completely confusing. Skimmed about 60% of the book, but it didn’t get better.
