This is a very well written story about what fear is and how we can overcome it. The illustrations are graphic novel like and a wonderful addition to this story. My nieces and nephews loved it. Highly recommended.
This wonderful children's book is perfect for families to read together and discuss overcoming fears. Harry and his friends are adorable characters for kids and this book is another wonderful resource for parents. Harry had allowed his imagination to run wild and scared himself. After remembering what Instructor Dan had told them in martial arts class, he was able to control his fear and enjoy the time with his friends.

There are many familiar characters that kids will relate to. The text has varied colors and font sizes to emphasize important points. I’m Not Afraid is an excellent read for children to learn how to handle their fears. I wish I could have read this book when I was growing up to help me! I love the colorful illustrations and characters inside. The author does a great job highlighting important words so that they stand out to kids when reading.
